President Donald Trump appears for a townhall event hosted by Univision for a Latino audience. President Trump took questions from the audience and explained policy and 2024 election priorities while asking the audience for their support.
The leadership of the Univision network have a long history of manipulating Latino content to the benefit of Democrat political priority. Without doubt, this same corporate intent was again carried by the network as President Trump engaged with the Latino audience. However, despite the efforts of the professional political class, President Trump continues to carry the highest level of republican support from the Hispanic population.

The more that the various networks, like this one and the MSM, put both Trump and Harris on for interviews and appearances, the better it is for Trump, even with the nefarious machinations of the various networks’ leadership.
In all cases, Trump comes out smelling like a rose and Harris just stinks.
Yes, and proof that a wide swath of people support him was in evidence at Coachella. The crowd was very diverse (age, gender, ethnicity)– all decked out in hardcore Trump gear.

Been thinking about the steal. Saw something last week on the GWP where a very tech savvy group has already identified every bogus address used for the ballot fraud scams. They claimed they had the ability to identify any ballots from these addresses in real time and once a single ballot from any of the addresses is cast, they’re prepared with hard evidence and lawyers in real time to attack. We’ll see

IMESHO, the FCC should review the broadcast licenses of all networks to ensure meeting one of the primary Mission Statements of the FCC, “to ensure quality in broadcasts”.
From my conversations with minorities, many are coming to realize how badly that they have been hurt by kamala/joe and their policies. Every mnority is suffering the same deleterious impact from the failed economic, military, energy, financial, and social policy of the past four years of kamala/joe.

I think you have to have some age on you to really understand how truly effed we have been by our leaders over at least half a century on energy.
By President Trump pointing out over and over and over again the riches we have under our feet that are ours and they can make us as rich as other nations with oil and gas. OURS!
And yet they have been kept from us for POLITICAL ANGST over and over and over again, and to keep us on our knees! They do not want us to prosper and thrive. But they will sell that same land to foreigners and let them steal our riches, whether it be previous minerals, ore, coal, gas or oil. It is malevolent.
In fact Delusional Joe and Queen Kamala gave away our emergency reserves that President Trump stocked up at the very cheap prices before he left.
Additionally, as I have said repeatedly since we got them, I have never ever had a President where I was given a refund by my energy company for charging me too much. That has only EVER happened under President Donald John Trump, all due to his Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. In the middle of winter we got one and one half months off from paying (credit/refund on bill) because they had retroactively lowered their rates to coincide with their TCJA savings. PLUS, their rates went down to compensate as well.
Those rates have now gone back up, and then some, because of the Biden/Harris maladministration. And they aren’t down yet. I will have to pay a whole lot more soon because of a new foreign battery making plant a state away from me sucking energy from existing customers and having to pay for the upgraded infrastructure to handle them. But they got all kinds of concessions to build anyway.
I remember Bush saying it would take 18 years for us to become energy independent. Trump just said, hold my Diet Coke, and it was done in no time. He proved how much they lied to us for decades.

This was not a representative sample, and likely a set-up to try to make PDJT look bad. I doubt they succeeded.

I think the question about Jan 6 and Pence not supporting Trump annoyed me most. That said everyone was very respectful and PDJT did well.
I completely agree with WB and Billie, these were hardcore Dems asking Dem questions. But everybody saw Trump was respectful, serious, and macho. He didn’t cower, or try to kiss azz with a fakey smile, or back away. He brought up the elephant in the room- the border!- before anybody else did, instead of trying to dance around it. They saw a man of power treating them like adults.
Choices are being made, the democommies are still putting their fingers on the scale to cheat this election. But there are big signs their margins they need are not attainable. The past week is showing it. The polls also don’t show enough of the hidden Trump vote that we know is there. This time it might be even bigger. Praying for no communism 🙏

One man asked about J6 and people going into the Capitol. President Trump basically said that there were hundreds of thousands at the event and a very small percentage went to the Capitol and that he said go Peacefully and Patriotically….
I wish he had made other points:
why did hundreds of thousands of people come to Washington on J6-They saw in their states a lot of irregularities and evidence of fraud and corruption in the election. They wanted this investigated, but the states and courts wouldn’t allow it. So they came to Washington, not to go into the Capitol, but to request or demand investigations.
So J6 was certification day and the people wanted to delay certification until investigations could be done. That’s why most of the people were here-not to overturn the election, but to get investigations to make sure the election was done fairly. Pence could have done that, but didn’t.
Anyway, the media mis characterization of J6 was they came to overturn the election and take over the Capitol. They came peacefully and patriotically to get a delay for investigations to occur. A small percentage went to the Capitol and it got out of hand for many reasons…..

But in addition to what you point out I wish he had compared the Jan 6 protests to the riots that took place all over America by the left which resulted in many deaths, including a child, and billions in property damage which was encouraged by Harris.
There is little point trying to compare and contrast the BLM riots to J6, the DOJ and media just won’t allow it.
If only we could get the proof out that the Capitol Police, FBI, and other government agitators actually caused the J6 riot!

One of the biggest comments I have seen from Hispanic Media people that have shows, state that they resonate with PJT because he is a business guy and many Hispanics are small business owners themselves and those strive to open their own business. It’s as simple as that.

In my opinion the reason Trump is doing so well with the Hispanic voters is something thr party establishments don’t understand. Legal Immigrants who went through the process and waited in line to come here legally, then had the dedication to spend the time and money to become US Citizens are very strong against illegal immigration. They really do not appreciate people cutting corners and getting put to the front of the line. They did the hard work and believe others should have to follow the same path for the same reward.
Democrats can not understand this because they only believe in identity politics and all Hispanics should think and act alike and should be happy that they are bringing in so many illegals.
I don’t claim to know or speak for all of them, this is just what I have seen in the families that I know, and are strong Trump supporters but it does make sense to me.
I’ve served with many legal immigrants; yes, they despise illegals. I served with a guy whose mother legally immigrated from Mexico when he was a young boy. He said he remembers her working to learn English, taking the citizen classes very seriously, teaching him what she was learning. He despises them so much so that he told a story where his immediately family reports other family who come illegally. His mother taught to this because it was the right thing.. He shared that she told him and his sister that if they (other family) are here illegally they are only here to take and to do that to their family is bad enough but to do it to strangers is blasphemy. He was a good sailor.
Right around election week in 2020 I was in Florida, and had an Uber driver that had on a Maga hat and Trump decals inside his car….he had Rush on the radio discussing immigration….and he looked like PBD …. also had an accent….so I I HAD TO ASK where HE was from…..
which started a passionate rant on LEGAL immigration….HE was from Palestine AND HAD BEEN A PHYSICIAN and did “it” THE RIGHT WAY….to get him & his family (wife +4) here…..many YEARS & 10’s of 1000’s of $$$ ….

Let’s get something straight here because I vividly remember this. By the early 1980s there were many, many illegal immigrants residing in the country at that time. With congressional support Reagan signed a bill legalizing most if not all of them. Who you saw at this townhall were these immigrants or their children or grandchildren except the Cubans.
Weren’t there other comprehensive laws enacted since then that made subsequent illegal immigrants legal? Just saying…
Bottomline: if you come here illegally and are not a heinous criminal, be patient. There will always be another comprehensive immigration law that will allow you to stay here permanently and eventually apply for citizenship.

Yeah, sadly that was one of Reagan’s big problems… but to be fair, he trusted Congress to hold up their end of that deal. They were supposed to approve border security measures to stem the tide and enact other legislation that was to discourage further illegal immigration. The forgiveness deal was to address “how do we deal with the ones already here” hew/cry from Congress (b/c they didn’t want to address deportation). Reagan thought he was doing the compassionate thing to grant amnesty.
I’m sure its deeper than my recollection of events depicts here, but that’s the broad strokes of it. I remember it being a generally popular decision at the time “finally, a solution!” Of course my impression of how it was received is suspect now b/c that impression was formed by mainstream media and everyone still basically trusted them.
Of course Congress did not hold up their end of the deal, and that then established the precedent you’re now referring to about “just be patient, there will be a ‘forgiveness’ law in the future”.
Once again all of their “questions” were Democrat talking points: J6, manmade global warming, abortion…

In my experience, Hispanic immigrants are practical, sensible people. They live by the bottom line. They are also very family oriented and many are Catholic. They are , for the most part, natural conservatives.
Some are radical but it is not the norm. The drug cartels and gang bangers are the criminal element, but again, the money is good and that happens in every group.
All this illegal immigration is going to backfire on the dems in the long run. If Trump can make headway with this group that will be great. He speaks their “language” from a social perspective and they just need to be convinced he is for real.

Not only that they exist, but that they are becoming a political force in their own right, as the Indian (Hindu/Sikh) populations are.
California, Arizona, Texas, the West and Southwest are heavily, if not predominantly, Latino. Yet all we talk about are mummies from the old system, the Newsoms and Pelosis, as if California politics were not completely Latino- which they are.

Today a conservative radio show played some of the Bloomberg CEO interview with President Trump. Trump was talking about how he dealt with Macron over the possibility of tariffs. I’ve heard this story 100 times before as I’ve heard most of his speeches over & over again. I realized Trump’s supporters can recite most all his policies and how he got them to work.
Harris supporters couldn’t give you one. Trump let us know what he was going to do. Then, he not only told us when he actually accomplished it, he also told us how he did it. All Harris supporters can say is Trump has mean tweets and recite that he’s a threat to democracy. Democrats just have empty promises, but Trump makes promises that he keeps and WE can name most of them without notes or a teleprompter.

The audience may speak English as well, but wish to communicate with other spanish speaking people on this station in their native tongue. I have a friend/coworker who is Latino. He told me his friend’s wife will not speak spanish to his family even though she is from Mexico. He thinks it is unfriendly and a snub.
