Terribly alarming. According to reports surfacing today, a 49-year-old heavily armed suspect was stopped from entering the VIP section of Trump’s rally in California. The man had a fake VIP pass, fake credentials and unregistered weapons.
New York Post – Local cops arrested an armed man outside Donald Trump’s Coachella Valley rally on Saturday, and the local sheriff said it may have been a third assassination attempt against the former president.
The suspect — identified as 49-year-old Las Vegas resident Vem Miller — was caught at a checkpoint about a quarter-mile from the rally with fake VIP passes to the rally and fake press passes — as well as unregistered weapons, including a loaded shotgun, a handgun and a high-capacity magazine, according to the Riverside County sheriff’s office.
Miller did not have a valid ID when he was stopped at the rally checkpoint, and was detained after police searched his vehicle and found the weapons, law enforcement sources told The Post.

CA gun laws are different for residents an non-residents. It depends on if this fella was a CA resident or not. If he was, then the guns must be registered at the time of purchase, or within something like 15 days of bringing a non-CA gun into CA from another state.
Grandfather laws exist for long-held CA weapons that predated the laws: no registration until transferred.
But, someone visiting California – an out-of-state resident bring in an out-of-state gun from a state with no gun registration, has different rules. No registration required (you can fly it in your luggage, properly declared, on the airplane, with no serial numbers, etc. being recorded) unless you become a California resident (not totally clear, but I think visitors have something like a 90-day grace period, and any action demostrating intent to establish CAresidency (power bill, etc) then requires gun registration.
Both for CA citizens and non-citizens, the rule is the same that the firearm must be unloaded, and in a locked container inaccessible to the driver while driving. You don’t technically need a guncase – the trunk lock counts. (Though I recommend locked gun case as well, to prevent uninformed/overly zealous cops from recording serial numbers). With hatchbacks, that often have just a tonneau-type cover over the rear compartment behind the back seat, that is sufficient.
So this guy definitely broke the law if his guns were loaded in the trunk. I also think CA doesn’t allow even visitors to bring in high-capacity mags. So someone from, say, Tennessee, can legally bring long guns and pistols, but maybe not certain mags.
The most messed up thing in CA right now is that if you don’t have a CA ID, you may not buy a single bullet. There is a long, convoluted Federal process to evade this, but it takes forever. And it’s a felony for a CA resident to drive across the Nevada state line and drive bullets back without declaring the ammo to the CA gov, (But, LOL, NOT a felony for a non-CA resident to drive to Nevada for bullets and drive back to CA to use with their “visitor, out-of-state” guns.) The lesson is always: bring all the ammo you’ll need to CA when coming from out of state. Declare and check-in your guns in one suitcase at the airport, and the ammo in the other suitcase.
The part of this that stinks just as bad as supposedly fake press credentials, is the guy’s loud protests that he’s never shot a gun in his life – but carries them for protection. You’ve got ZERO business carrying a gun around in your trunk without having done some range time and read up on basic firearm safety. More of a danger to others!
So it will be interesting to see the guy’s residency, and where and when the guns were purchased – to determine whether he was required to report them, or whether they were “illegally possessed.”

(She was also good friends with Scaramucci, or so it appeared…. that’s a key thing to note. Appearances aren’t always what they seem.) I didn’t think much of her photos at the time, until she started posting serious TDS, anti Trump stuff before TDS was even a thing. Also, important to note is I had people on my page for years prior to DJT even running that were later in leadership positions of Trumps team. So, I repeat the few odd people who requested me during that election season truly stood out because they were Anti Trumpers following someone who supported Trump. There were 3 during this period The Kaplan woman, a woman in Bucharest who appear to be a covert agent with her hair changing color often to hide who she was, also connected to a pilot in the UK airforce who was either her husband or Boyfriend. The 3rd guy was a supposed Green Energy guy with a Website that was staged/fake…. I looked up his Twitter and he was another anti Trumper, and also a close friend of that snake Comey. I was also a facebook friend with Mindy before she was even a Trump supporter. The snakes trying to embed themselves are almost beyond a decade into this situation. Take note, just because the guy appears to be a Trump supporter does not mean he is…. even if Mindy is vouching for him. Some definite background research is needed on him, because the spies, etc. have been active for a long time. HRC is the one who controlled most of them…. that’s the most obvious thing.
I watched the sheriff today. What I wrote was from his mouth, not the things I read.
He downplayed the fake VIP pass thing. He said he told the deputies he was a VIP. The sheriff had no info on passes at this news conference.
He touched on the rumored person who was turned away by bomb sniffing dog hit. He said this occurred regularly but no information if the turn away rose to a significant level.
I didn’t get any curious cat feelings from this guy. I am sure that he kept some things back like the discussions his guys had with Vem. He did say that his legal limits were the weapons charges. Any thing more would come from the FBI. I think I saw a twinkle in his eye at that remark.

There were elected Democrats who said, immediately after the first assassination attempt that drew blood, that it was all a staged event. The second time, they claimed that the assassin was actually a Trump supporter, until the “waybackmachine” proved their lies. Each time the Democrats have tried to kill Trump, directly or indirectly or due to simple incompetence, Trump voters increased by large margins.
Therefore, unless they put Trump in the ground, you’ll never hear of another Trump “assassination attempt”. The Democrats, their Feds, and their wholly owned “national media”, will black it out, free the assassin ($5000 bail?!), and then “nothing to see here, move along …”.
The Democrats self-professed Communist motto is Machiavelli’s “… the ends justifies the means ..”. Or, in their words, they will win “… by any means necessary”.
Just sayin’ – we won’t know the truth, either way. The assassins will be ciphers, the investigators, cover-up artists. Maybe the guy they arrested WAS a Trump supporter, legal, law abiding, and well armed consistent with the Second Amendment, but we’ll never know for sure. That’s their intent. The man is one of those who claim to be sovereign citizens; multiple ID’s with different names, unregistered car, fake license plate on the car, and 2 unregistered in California firearms. The sheriffs did good to stop that man at the outer perimeter.

Looking at the known facts, I don’t believe he was targeted for exposing the government. He would LIKE to believe they consider him a big threat, I’m sure. Then they found the dubious press pass and all the IDs and such (typical Sov Cit stuff), and guns that were legally in his car in Nevada, but when he brought them into California, I don’t know. All together, I can see why the sheriff’s deputies’ spidey senses were tingling. But I think there was never any threat to Trump or anyone else.
