I was involved with ministries in Mexico for many years, and thus, I know MANY immigrants who came to the US legally, in order to get away from the corruption of their own country and to be able to give their children a better life. They are some of the hardest working people I know and they are furious that people who did not follow the rules are now being handed everything they spent years working to achieve! Almost every LEGAL immigrant that I know, whether from Mexico, or anywhere else, is a conservative and strong supporter of President Trump!
Mexico is like second home to me, been going there for 55 years. What I find amazing is the majority of the people of Mexico are very religious and I can’t honestly believe they would allow their Christian religion to be destroyed.
I have some very good friends there, I even spent months (16yrs old) in the mountains of chihuahua, chihuahua.
learned a lot of their history.
Count my immigrant Brit husband among them, sis. Legal and hardworking. We arrived on these shores (I back to my homeland) when we were both 56.

I listened to a speech JD Vance gave in Detroit a few days ago where he talked about how many people in their 20s and 30s fear they will never be able to afford a home because so many people who shouldn’t even be here are being given everything!
I have a 30-year-old son who fits that category but unfortunately, he continues to vote for the same people who are making it impossible for him to get ahead, even though both he and his wife work very hard. He’s not stupid – he’s just stubborn, but I continue to pray that his eyes will be opened to the truth that is right in front of him!

I downsized from a home to a condo in 2017 because I was sick of yard work with the idea that, in a few years, when I was no longer sick of taking care of a yard and wanted a house I would then go buy one. Housing was affordable.
Then the boom happened. Nice homes that should cost $185k to $200k now are asking $450k to $500k. Ridiculous.
