Glad justice could get around to stopping this farce. Meanwhile real damage has been done, not only to President Trump but to the justice system. Sanctions? At least. They should be charged for malicious prosecution and election interference to deter the rest of the rabid army.

I watched some of it last week. It has not to the best of my knowledge yet been finally ruled upon by the NY appellate court. I think the guy in the clip is commenting upon the first arguments made by the NY Appeals atty out of James’ office. Not a final judgement on the appeal.
If so, that mid-late last week ( iirc ) hearing I saw and it’s true the judges began hammering at the attorney pleading NY’s case to dismiss the appeal.
First judge did not even let the attorney get her full name out when addressing the court, before he began rapid fire questions. She was deftly manuevering and yet the justices all clearly demonstrated their seeming uncertainty, as to the validity of the whole legal charade.
I could see POTUS having this ultimately ruled for him favorably.
What has been forgotten is the incredible undervaluing of Mar-a-Lago by the state. They valued it at a fraction of its actual worth. The case itself was fraudulent for that reason.
The value of a historic property is what someone is willing to pay for it.
And that base that valuation on what other similar properties have sold for.
There is no property similar to Mar-a-lago.

The crap valuation a jurisdiction uses as a basis for ad valorem taxes. Totally fabricated number and has nothing to do with market value.

Based on my experience with ~$45B dollars of project financing, Trump followed the standard process. These lenders are some of the most sophisticated finance people on the planet. Naturally these lenders conduct extensive due diligence using the best subject matter experts money can buy. If they’re repaid on time and in full, there is no case …. legitimate case. Clearly, the judge was not an expert in the project financing process and his ruling is indefensible.

The bank was too dumb or something to know the property was “undervalued”. That is absolute nonsense. ANYBOBY who has EVER received a bank loan knows it. The “judge” pulled the stunt on the value of Mar-A-Largo for one reason only. He wanted to give his media buddies the backing to make the oft repeated claim “Trump is not as rich as he claims”. I hope the court sanctions them.
