The good news is Joe thinks it will be a tropical storm or “minimal hurricane” and it will not effect those in the TN or NC.
Tropical Storm Kirk, and in the MDR of the Atlantic is expected to not make landfall on the US.

You are a far braver man than me. I only sing in the shower, where no one can hear me, and my singing voice scares young children. Therefore….absolutely NO karaoke. EVER !!!
I sang (badly) to the pool tables for a couple of years before I could look at the audience. I’m a lot better now than way back then, I know the “tricks” as well … gotta pick songs that fit your voice, not songs you may like but have to fit your voice to … does not work real well unless you ask to have the pitch/tempo of the song changed to your voice.
Now I am the Karaoke guy since 2016 … was owners “tech guy” & roadie, … she went to Cabo in Mexico to live out the dream of being noticed … tho she is back now cause her mom has health problems … kinda being bumped now but I only have one day off during mid week to do a Karaoke show …. that is all she has ever done is music/bands … I believe she was one of Brian Setzer Orchestra’s back up singers for a year or 2+ … long ago.
Tho after 8+ years I have a following …. ??? … Brother doesn’t believe … heck … hard for me to believe.

He appeared in 17 All-Star games, won three World Series rings, three batting titles, and one Most Valuable Player Award, His playing career lasted from 1963-86, and he was a team manager from 1984-89.
The bulk of his career was spent the Cincinnati Reds, from 1963-78, and again from 1984-89, where he led the team to two World Series championships. Growing up in St. Pete was able see him multiple times during spring training. Was a regular at the Kennel Club in St. Pete, most memorable was running in to him and “Tug” McGraw
at a little local convenience store on Indian Rocks Beach, nice guys to talk to.
Some of the best memories I had with my father (RIP), heading to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner and to the Cincinnati Reds games at Riverfront Stadium. Back in the day, the place was packed with fans!!! Took my daughter about 7 or 8 years ago and we stayed in Cincy for 5 days – you would have thought I took her to Greece! Loved it so much, but I lamented that the stadium was practically empty during the game. Why not throw the doors open at the last minute and let the bystanders fill the seats. Besides, what’s a “show” without an audience? Sad to see the slow death of our sports teams – fun times. RIP, Mr. Rose. You were legendary. Fly high with the angels!!!

How will we ever repay the debt we owe Israel?
What the Jewish state has done in the past year – for its own defence, but in the process and not coincidentally for the security of all of us – will rank among the most important contributions to the defence of Western civilisation in the past three-quarters of a century.
Having been hit with a devastating attack on its people, beyond the fetid imagining of some of the vilest antisemites, Israel has in 12 months done nothing less than redraw the balance of global security, not just in the region, but in the wider world.
It has eliminated thousands of the terrorists whose commitment to a savage theocratic ideology has claimed so many lives across the region and the world for decades. It has, with extraordinary tactical accuracy, dispatched some of the masterminds of the worst evil on the planet, including most recently Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbollah leader in Lebanon.
It has repelled and then reversed the previously inexorably advancing power of one of the world’s most terrifying autocracies, the Islamic Republic of Iran. It has demonstrated to all the West’s foes, including Iran’s allies in Moscow and Beijing, that our system of free markets and free people, and the voluntary alliance network we have constructed to defend it, generates resources and capabilities of vast technical superiority.Above all, it has provided an unexpected but crucial reminder to our enemies that there are at least some willing and able to pursue and defeat them whatever the risk to our own lives and resources.
The only appropriate responses to Israel’s gallantry, fortitude and skill from us – its nominal allies, especially in the US – are “thank you” and “how can we help?”
Instead, time and again Israel’s supposed friends, including the administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, have, while expressing sympathy over the outrage of October 7 and uttering the usual support for “Israel’s right to defend itself,” repeatedly tried to restrain it from doing just that. Their early, valuable support has been steadily diminished by the way they have too often connived with the anti-Israel extremists in their own party.
Before Israel had even buried its dead last October and as Hamas was busy murdering its hostages, there were calls for Israel to ceasefire. For a year we have heard our leaders’ “balanced” condemnations of Hamas and its terror masters on the one hand and the Jewish state on the other, a false equivalence that says more about the moral disorder in our own politics than about Israel’s motives and actions.
In Europe, they have gone even further, as usual, rewarding Hamas and Hezbollah by nominally recognising a nonexistent Palestinian state and prosecuting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on bogus war-crimes charges.
Do they not get that in the end we have to make a choice: our ally, on the front lines of defense against barbarism or our enemies, those who literally want to see us all buried?
Fortunately for all of us, it seems Israel is prevailing despite the chorus of hecklers.
Perhaps all this sounds too blithe for skeptical readers; or at least premature given the rising expectation of a much wider conflict to come. And it is true that there has been awful loss of innocent lives in Gaza, Lebanon and elsewhere that undoubtedly fuels the ire of the enemy across the world. What if Mr Netanyahu and his government’s aggressive prosecution proves a Pyrrhic victory?
But that wider conflict was perhaps always inevitable, given Iran’s stated objectives and its consistent efforts to achieve them. We can say two things tentatively about that long-feared wider confrontation. First, the strategic tactical, intelligence and technological genius Israel has demonstrated over the past year might have done so much damage to Iran’s proxy armies and their military and political leaders that they will be ill-prepared and equipped for the bigger struggle to come, and Israel – and, let’s hope, reliable allies – better placed to defeat its enemies. Second, having observed this Israeli superiority over that time and eagerness not to bring the destruction on itself a wide war would surely bring, perhaps Iran will be deterred.
Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to so few, Winston Churchill said of the men of the Royal Air Force after they had repelled Hitler’s Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain. (Reminder to some recently confused “conservatives”: The former were the good guys; the latter the real villains.)
We should echo those words today as we watch in awe what a country smaller in area than New Jersey, with a population less than North Carolina’s and an economy smaller than that of Washington state, has done for all of us.
As Israelis solemnly mark a year since October 7, we should not only redouble our expressions of sympathy and solidarity. We should show them our gratitude, and if we are willing to be really honest, acknowledge a little of our own shame.
Amazing how those hours of service regs can be dropped at a moments notice. Even with HAZMAT as we saw when they had the propane shortage down in Texas a few years ago. Obviously a husband wife team. Teams of hard chargers with no regs enforced can move the freight fast. They can keep on rolling only stopping for fuel grab food on the go and to do #2. They may not even have to stop for food because the off duty partner can heat up stuff in the microwave. Water is generally a max weight load running 44 to 45,000 lb. God Bless em! Hours of service were originally to protect the drivers from companies overworking them which morphed through the years to limiting the driver’s ability to make money. That required break BS leads to trucks parked dangerously on the shoulders and fatigued drivers. No longer have the option of taking a break when you need it.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I did some translations, some historic videos.
-The IDF has entered Lebanon on a ground maneuver!
The intention: to clear up south Lebanon (the border area) of Hezbollah and their infrastructure far enough to enable the return of citizens of North Israel to their homes safely.
As I mentioned in a recent update. We need to push them away from the border past the Litani River in Lebanon. Far enough so they can’t fire anti tank missiles on the communities and to prevent a 10/7 situation from happening at the North.
This requires a buffer zone.
I have to say that there are reports from the US and serious reporters in Israel saying that we are not going to occupy South Lebanon nor push them past the Litani at this point and make a buffer zone but only clear out the front infrastructure of Hezbollah that endangers the Israeli towns. I can’t tell if it’s some sort of a concession that Bibi did with the Biden’s Administration to get their international support and then phase into a “negotiating a deal” or it could be a misdirector and Bibi sold them a “limited operation” while it is not so limited.
For Israel it’s a window of opportunity before the US Elections and the winter. We shall see. For sure the intention is as above just not sure when?
-IDF orders some 24 villages of South Lebanon to evacuate. Also the Lebanese Army and the UN all moved away to Lebanon, out of the fighting zones.
– The US is in support of the operation with the branding of : “Limited, and targeted raids”. The victor is getting support.
-The US Administration apparently leaked details of the operation before it started caused some reactions of members of the Government in Israel.
There were reports of : “Limited and targeted maneuver will happen in hours” , before it happened. Also reports of Special Forces entering tunnels in South Lebanon before the maneuver began.
-So far the reports that I am getting are of success and no much opposition.
Also a new report from a good source that since the war began the IDF targeted many of the tunnels, specially in the south, through the air but also Special Forces on the ground.
-We are sending the best Divisions of the IDF. A lot of Special Forces and tanks and Combat Engineers. Heavy artillery of canons and tanks ahead of the moving forces along with Air support. Fog of War, no images yet now at 7:30 AM East US time. I will post footage when it gets released.
Those worriers have fought for about a year in Gaza. While they may be tired, everyone is supper motivated, there is a just cause. They become a powerful and oiled machine with unparalleled synchronization between Air, Infantry and armored vehicles. Div 98 is in the lead. They are the best with some strong Special Forces, they handled Kahan Yunis in South Gaza which was the strongest Brigades of Hamas, the hometown of Sinwar.
-Some rockets to central Israel. One moderately injured from a shrapnel and two lightly injured.
Prayers for the soldiers and success of the maneuver, prayers for the safety of people of Israel.

Hi Treeper friends!
We are home from our St Louis trip and to say that we had a marvelous time would be the understatement of the century.
If I could encourage anything, please step outside of your comfort zone and speak to your fellow man and woman. St Louis was phenomenal with their hospitality and chatting with a local there, she lamented the bad rap that St Louis receives. “If it bleeds, it leads”… she said.
Well, not for us! Highlights:
The ghetto grocery store and the laughs with the locals and the armed guard
Gus’s Pretzels (est 1920 – a hand twisted pretzel was still less than $1)
The Aquarium and Landry’s Seafood
The National Automotive Museum
And top shelf… creme d la creme:
La Bonne Bouchee French Patisserie
Basilica of St Louis mass who had a Priest that was engaging and approachable
And finally, Billy Joel and Sting at Busch Stadium.. and see the good fortune we had.. merely by chance.
Mike and Luke, the valet at Live by Loews… literally hugging them in our trip!
Lucas and his darling, doe-eyed son… we had no earthly idea who he was, but he made himself known to us later… by coming to our seats and leading us down to the floor… in what is, probably the sweetest gesture of kindness I’ve ever experienced. I was weeping.
We were gifted row 1, section A3, seats 10 and 11. The speaker was so close, I could touch it and it beat so hard you could resuscitate a dead man by it.
It is bittersweet celebrating when so many people are hurting from the storms. Our hearts are with our countrymen and everyone fighting so hard. We witnessed a miracle with the tornado that was trying to form… and as long as I live, I’ll never forget it.
In this, I say… please reach out to the strangers around you. We met and communed with the loveliest people and we did our very best to bless as we could… and it returned to us in spades that I could barely breathe… I was so humbled. See my devotional that I read for the first time in our former seats… right before the blessing occurred.
It was something and I’ve not recovered yet, neither has Savannah. All our love ❤️ ✝️ 🙏 🕊
It was PACKED… and I ain’t too proud to say, I bawled like a baby. Savannah had such a good time… once in a lifetime… for sure.
Saw Billy Joel many many years ago at an excellent Auditorium on the Western Kentucky University campus. Piano Man had just came out and was his current big hit at the time.

Billy Joel is 75 years old and he was twirling that microphone stand, after having played at least 20 songs… like it was baton in a parade. He and Sting(72 yo), both were remarkable.
But above all… the people. The people of St Louis, the people that make up our beautiful country… were outrageously amazing.
The media LIES TO US about being divided. In reality, we are NOT divided. We are just purposefully isolated from one another and the distrust is so terrible. No. I stand against that!! In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name.
I pray we all get to experience the UNITY we have as Americans who truly love our country and our cities. We are blessed.

After having been to many beautiful churches here and abroad; some beyond ornate, others austere and some so plain and serene, ….. and historical….
-that Basilica blew me away (right here in the USA) !

As for St Louis
once one gets used to the bridges/express ways it’s pretty easy to get around.
St. Louis is a wonderful place… with some wonderful and very friendly people, yes.
The “Peace” in the Basilica is so refreshing. It felt very clean Spiritually. A great, great comfort.
St Louis is a fabulous town. Daughter didn’t want to leave and she went on Zillow and started sending me houses to buy… with all our imaginary monopoly money. Lol

Savannah doesn’t post on here. She delights vicariously over my shoulder on occasion. She’s wise beyond years to stay as far away from controversy and main stream news, as possible. She dresses very modestly and those are her fingers in the picture. Manicures don’t hold up in her day-to-day job.
We were standing next to a very unkind, controlling, man and his very entitled 17 year old daughter. She was wearing very revealing clothing and I am simply not used to men who would allow their minor daughters to display liberally. I question now if she was his daughter, at all.
Most men I know – or at least the men I give half a mind to pay attention to – wouldn’t let their underage daughters out of their homes in revealing attire. It’s a sad case when young women are objectified so poorly.
I am hearing now that Billy Joel has a thing about giving away the front row tickets to normies. He wants to see REAL fans in the front. Most of the young adult women in those first couple of rows were the standard “eye candy”… then there was us, the flannel shirt (me) and compression shirt (her) wearing crew. We were obviously the representative “normies”. LOL… I’m good with it. I don’t ask questions, or try to think on it too much – though I would certainly love to know the “why” behind the gift. I’m likely never to know.
