Tomorrow President Trump will be in the SE state of Georgia to be briefed on storm damage, what’s being done to help and what more needs to be done plus to distribute supplies.

Not bitter but can see how might conclude this. In rereading it is poorly written.
First paragraph is what needs to be done so not an economic open borders. The requirements for foreign manufacturing not in President Trump’s proposal. Nothing bitter in seeing the reality of what we are cheering for.
Last paragraph is simply not pretending, taking time to think about what is being cheered. What is outcome if most manufacturing in America is foreign owned? Mostly China owned? Mostly any one country owned? Who then owns America, owns the worker slaves? Is the hand that feeds us?
Not bitter.
Better to not cheer, let President Trump say it and accept he is saying it as Art of the Deal or another reason, and wait for the bigger picture on it to be revealed.
There better be an exit plan because the move indicates a very broke and desperate country that cannot get themselves picked up and great again. (Now, this last paragraph may have undertones of bitterness. Got me there.)

We have to start somewhere, and there are many deficits that will take time to recover from, most especially education and the dearth of general geniuses deliberately kept out of industry and government by the warped university system that is designed not to enhance competence but to suppress it.
We simply don’t have a significantly prepared cadre of competence to stand up so much industry as quickly as we need to in order to establish an enduring Renaissance of American manufacturing. PDJT’s plan addresses many shortcomings without outright identifying them.
I can appreciate the worry about ownership, but we are so far down that road already, we can’t allow it to suddenly become a block to returning our jobs and factories. Perhaps a purity test too far? A self defeating impulse to reject an imperfect, but optimal, solution? I fear it would be just that.
Today President Trump didn’t use a phase that he had been sporting for at least a couple rallies of late, that we “are going to steal the jobs of other countries,” perhaps it doesn’t poll well, but that is essentially the plan, to steal jobs BACK.
I would consider this part of the plan to be a powerful spark, reigniting the industrial spirit, and American ingenuity will provide the enduring fuel to expand on that, diluting the influence of foreign actors.
