When they all went to catechism class (around 7th grade?), they became concerned for my soul and that I wouldn’t go to heaven because I wasn’t Catholic.
I told them I was good with Jesus and it would be OK. How sweet that they really cared. ❤️ 🙏

I often think that proper grammar and enunciation have been equated with the deeply affluent and that is another reason why they want our littles dumbed down…remove them from the finer things in life…from history, true history….and literature…true literature.

Very interesting. Where I live there are cattle guards everywhere. They wreak havoc on bicycles for sure. My dogs have always done that go around the end maneuver. Not only are those spaces inherently dangerous, but the metal gets extremely hot.
I swear I’m not fabricating this: During the Clinton administration (I think), some wackadoodle wanted to know if cattle guards deserved a raise! We laughed about that for ages.

Over did it today!
Today was my first day going in for Physical Therapy and my last. The first day is an evaluation. I did the 6 minute walk almost twice as fast as the average man my age. Other tests came out with great results. The Physical Therapist and I agreed that there was nothing he could do for me there that I couldn’t do on my own at home. So I have a list of exercises to do.
When I came home Steve said he was going to mow today. I decided I would try and do the trimming with the push mower. I got over half of it done but started feeling bad so I quit. Laid down and took a nap. Woke up at 18:00. Ate something, took my evening pill, and am now going to go back to bed.
Apparently I can’t rush the process of getting back to normal. I just do what I can while listening to what my body is telling me and let my body heal in its own good time.

When he was so ill last year and thank God recovered with the help of excellent surgeons and prayers from my family here, he was so sure he would bounce right back. I told him to be realistic. But he wouldn’t have it. He soon understood.
