I used to manage the nationwide Co-op Programs for a company with large national retailers who had many dealers in every state. We bought a lot of furniture, cabinetry, kiosks, etc. from the Raleigh-Durham area for our dealer stores. The vendors would come in and visit me, and I would do training with them for our own area reps and all of the national dealers so they would have a better understanding of what was available to them through their earned Co-op funds.
I once had to spend $2 million in co-op funds on one day. VERY stressful, as it was the last day to use it too. It was the same day our Cafeteria plan provider, Anthem, screwed me out of over $1k in my unused funds that I had planned to spend that evening on various needs. They called it a leap year glitch.
