FLORIDA – The federal judge who presided over — and threw out — the criminal classified documents case the Justice Department brought against Donald Trump is now set to oversee the case into the latest apparent assassination attempt against the former president.
U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon — a Trump appointee — was randomly assigned the attempted assassination case Tuesday after a grand jury in Miami returned a five-count indictment against Ryan Routh in connection with the Sept. 15 incident at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The indictment charges Routh with attempted assassination of a presidential candidate, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime and assault on a federal officer, as well as two charges he already faced: being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. The real question is: Will the Feds actually allow Florida to try this man or will be be given cover as a Federal prisoner and then later quietly released. Like he has been multiple times before.
Will most likely stay in Florida where the crime occurred. Florida’s Federal District courts are in the 11th Circuit, presided over by none other than the great Justice Clarence Thomas. So there’s that little lovely tidbit too.

The state will soon be charging him with attempted murder and grand theft auto etc so releasing him is not likely to happen. They play hardball in Florida, so that guy picked the worst state to commit those crimes. He probably believed he would not get caught, now he’ll be locked up for good.

Once in a while we get some good news. Sadly, whatever this actually is, doesn’t matter. It is now a distraction.
Trump needs to stay alive and get back into office. But there’s something far more important than that.
The people need to understand what is going on. And the people need to step up to public office. There is no way out of this which includes “keeping your head down and just doing your job.” Because THAT is how we got here in the first place.
I’d do it myself but I am not of clean heart or clean history. But there is a sh!t ton of really good people here and all around who are unassailable and need to understand they have more to lose unless they step up.
Maybe this judge will dig deep here. Maybe she’ll question the prepackaged guilty plea the FBI will coerce out of Routh. We need to know the truth out of Routh’s mouth, and his files and records, and the Feds’.
She will. She sees ALL but must make her moves carefully and well justified to ensure her rulings will STICK. She has signaled clearly she sees what’s going on but that she must work well within the system and without anything that appears questionable.

Be my guest. I’d love for them to fight for Routh’s right to a fair trial, with full discovery of course. Bet they don’t. The FBI probably rigged this to get her, so they could rub her nose in it after the Trump docs case. Absent proof, she has to accept the (looming but coerced) guilty plea.

Saw the news report yesterday that Routh’s son, Oran, was found to have 100s of child porn images on his phone. Disgusting as that is, it is also a tool that the fed LE uses to “turn” people, to have them as informants by threatening to expose them. It would also not be a surprise to find out that the feds “plant” such material on individuals, too. Sounds like the whole Routh family was a well known “unit” but that we’ll probably never get to the bottom of their sordid accomplishments.

Just a hunch … but …. It will be interesting to see what happens if there is a motion for the recusal of Judge Cannon by defense attorney(s) due Judge Cannon’s bias favoring President Trump. It would not be surprising if DoJ does NOT Oppose, if not tacitly support, the recusal motion.
So far from what we’ve seen so far I wish Judge Aileen Cannon was on the Supreme Court in place of Amy Barrett.
