I’ve heard some of their stories of having to use their personal shelter to survive a fire that burned over them, and 40-yr-old tough men were crying as they told their stories. Prayers up.

Israel Update:
Again a different update.
Maybe it’s not really an update so forgive me. I just feel that prayers are more appropriate at this point.
So I posted a few beautiful prayers.
As to the happenings:
As I said, Bibi will have to decide on using the overwhelm of Hezbollah to defeat it with a ground maneuver or hold off because of Biden and his Administration and get defensive. So in the last day the IDF bombed about a thousand launchers and reduced the Hezbollah attacks to a lot of devastation only in some very north border Israeli city areas. No casualties because the north is deserted. Actually in one occasion a few IDF soldiers were injured.
I will not enter more opinions here. There could be a pre-planned action going on. It is not known at this moment.
Chief of Staff said yesterday to his North Commanders that “we have more things to be used and at every action we take we are already preparing the next two actions.” So I will leave it here and go to the prayers.
It could be now or in November after your elections but for sure we will have to fight Hezbollah. We will need all the prayers. Nasrallah (the leader of Hezbollah) just said that “Israel can’t stop Hezbollah from continuing to attack Israel unless it stops the aggression in Gaza”.
From some reason this all scenario makes me think of Exodus with Moses and his “Let my people go” and the Egyptian “plagues” (the Beepers attacks remind of it) and the Pharaoh whose heart wouldn’t soften until the final plague.
In the shadow of the situation in the north: tonight (Thursday) thousands of worshipers participated in the prayer service at the Western Wall square, and prayed together for the return of the abductees soon, for the peace of the soldiers and the wounded and for peace and unity with Israel. At noon today, our daughter, Caroline, and our soon to be new son in law, Brian, will be married… in their living room because his physical condition at the moment is not good, just the two of them and the pastor of the church which her half brother and his wife attend, in the Holy Presence of Christ, our Redeemer and Saviour. An Almighty, loving God continues to smooth out the precarious road they are embarking on. Boulders, large and slightly smaller, are being moved by His hand. The ones we could see which we thought might be immovable or difficult are quietly being rolled to the side.
Her children, the twin grandlads at university and their sister in her junior year at high school, have delivered their collective six thumbs up to this union which is based on the love which underpins the incredibly difficult and uncertain path which is ahead.
Yesterday was the first time I’ve had a chance to speak face to face with her and ask the questions which have mounted up while she has been staying with him for the past four days in hospital. I learned that Brian’s heptologist is considered to be one of the top ones in his field, arranged through Caroline’s half brother, John, an orthopaedic resident at Southwestern UT. This, and the extraordinary speed in obtaining the first consult, can only increase the chances Brian’s life will be extended. Two huge blessings…
As soon as they are married, she is putting him on her insurance. I was concerned about a grace period before it would take effect. She says there isn’t one. Another boulder moved.
Our Father has woven many individual threads from long ago into the tapestry we see today. It truly is something marvelous to reflect upon, to understand how He has been, unbeknownst to any of us at the time, silently weaving circumstances and (not) coincidences which have brought this day about. Supported I know by the prayers of beloved family in our remarkable Tree.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

God is a god of retroactive restoration. Whatever has been stolen (finances, health, relationships) God will restore it. Hold onto that promise.
Do not limit God with your complaining.
Keep asking God until you receive the answer. Don’t stop.

For I the Lord this day am telling My children – Do not allow the thief to keep stealing. Do not allow things even in the past, no matter how long it’s been. No matter how long your enemy has had things that belong to you in his possession. It is time to empty the bank accounts. It is time to empty the things that the enemy’s had against you. It is time to destroy the enemy’s accounts. It is time to destroy all of those reservoirs that he’s had held up, these things that have your name on it. It is time for My children to purge these things. It is time for My children to blow these things out of the hands of the wicked. My children, it’s time for you to know that when a thief has been caught, he has to be forcefully – make him give it back. Don’t just stand back and just say these things have happened to me. No! You stand on My Word. And I will make sure that Devourer has to give back everything that he has stolen from you. That is written in My Word. And I am waiting to actively perform My Words for you. Your enemy has been stealing much from you, whether it be peace in your minds, whether it’s peace and health in your bodies, whether it’s restoration and families. No matter what he’s stolen from you, I AM THE GOD WHO RESTORES. A lot of My children have not seen the great restoration that I have intended for you to have because they have not asked Me for it. They didn’t expect for Me to do anything about it. That’s why you have to get to know who I am. I am the God who restores yes BUT I RETROACTIVELY RESTORE.
STUDY THE JUBILEE AND WHAT THE JUBILEE IS AND WHY I HAVE IT. There are so many revelations in My Word, so many things that I have promised My children, so many things I want to give but they don’t know. And that’s why so many people, so many of My children are destroyed for the lack of knowledge.

For I the Lord this day am telling you, My children, your enemies are stepping up every way to interfere with this election, every way to stop this nation from being independent from the world system, every way to stop you from becoming strong and free as a nation and as a people. My children, your enemies are up to no good. This type of evil has intensified to another level against you. They are about to do something unprecedented in this nation against My David and against the American people. They will continue to show their desperation and how evil they are. You will see more of them reveal themselves in front of cameras, just how evil they can be. They will say things they never intended to say and give themselves away. Your enemies are terrified of losing. They are terrified of the truth because it would bring down everything they have spent so much time building up to destroy this nation and the world’s freedoms.
My children, something big is coming from Iran. Something is coming from China. Something big is coming from Ukraine. Something is coming that the Establishment will allow to happen. Ha Ha – this reminds me that once upon a time I built a goldfish pond in my apartment living room. I bought a blue kids swimming pool and put bricks around the outside for decoration. I filled it – don’t remember how – and installed a small water pump / waterfall. I don’t remember how many goldfish I gave a home to … but …. tragedy
I came home from work and all the goldfishes were dead on the floor. Apparently they got to racing across the pond – hit the wall – and flipped out.
My (then) little son was devastated and I had to bury the poor little critters – and clean up the mess. Needless to say I didn’t buy more goldfish – tho I kept the pond decoration – ha ha

Prayer for Serenity 1: When Things Seem Out of Control
You did everything you could to assure a positive outcome, but it didn’t turn out the way you wanted or expected. We’ve all been there. It tests our faith. Maybe you accept the outcome or maybe you’re frustrated. God wants to help you put the situation into perspective and remember that he is always in control of every situation—even those you so desperately want to control.
Dear Lord, It feels like everything is out of control in my life right now. I know good things are happening too but the stress is overshadowing them. I wanted a better answer, things to change, but my hopes are dashed. Many people try to comfort me by saying that you’re in control, but it doesn’t bring me comfort. It seems condescending.
Lord, I want to understand and discern the plans you have for me. Father, restore my faith as I trust that you’re omniscient and I’m not. Envelope me with your peaceful balm to soothe my questioning mind. Remind me that you hold the whole world in your hands and all things work for good to those who believe in you. I do believe! Amen

God didn’t create doubt, anxiety, or worry. Satan did to rob us of our joy, peace, and sleep. God knows common sense can flee when we’re under stress, so he gave us a remedy when we experience mind hijackers: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Charles Spurgeon advised that, “Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
Lord, you know how irrational I can become when I’m anxious. I can’t reign in my thoughts. Instead of expecting the best, I worry and wonder. I fret. My stomach churns, my heart races, and I can’t take my mind off the issue. I know you don’t want me living in a constant state of turmoil. It’s not good for my physical or mental health. It makes people around me miserable and keeps me living in a perpetual state of chaos instead of calmness, which I crave.
Father, you tell me in your Word to cast all my anxiety on you and so I’m doing that in this prayer. I lay at your feet the things I’m struggling with and I implore you Lord to free my mind of concerns. Remind me please to take deep breaths and trust that you can make a way even when the path is not visible to me. Father, please lead me to refreshing Scriptures when I feel anxiety approaching. Holy Spirit fill me with the serene peace and joy of the Lord. Amen
