Reflection. 45 Days!
Are the next 45 days really about the political battles before us. Or is it really a time of purposeful distinction. purposeful division.
Is it really about Donald Trump -vs- Kamala Harris, or is it really about choosing between good -vs- evil.
(51) “Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. (52) From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. We can all sense it. Even if we turn away to engage in busyness as a distraction, the sense will not subside.
There is a great urgency needed in our communication with our family, friends, loved ones and overall community. Do not negate your righteousness, nor diminish your instinctual value. Do not fear.
Do not fear.
Those who speak out are targeted, ridiculed, belittled, alinsky’d and shouted down until they are proved right.
Again and again, and again, and again, we were made to watch, or to endure the crude, bullying tactics of the social playground. Reasoned debate and argument have long since gone over the hill into uncomfortable history.
Now, the next 45 days, we enter one long slugfest, in which the loudest, angriest and most effectively insulting voices will seek to win by volume alone, so often echoed by mainstream media who hold reasoned voices in contempt; apparently preferring to ridicule and diminish rather than provide genuine space for those who had simple questions in need of non-pretending answers.
However, again and again, those shouted down are revealed as having been right all along.
If you are a regular reader of this site, you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. You do not pretend. Meaning, you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence.
The challenge for all of us now is getting those who understand the big picture dynamics to stop being comfortable and sticking their heads in the sand about “motive.”
Most people are still clinging to beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to national leadership writ large. We need to change that thinking quickly – or we will be left explaining ‘what happened’ again, far too late.
There is also an issue with conservative “ushers” guiding their audience into a state of tactical numbness. A willful blindness within part of the American electorate, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unconstititional actions we are seeing on a daily basis.
It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of, “I can’t see what’s happening”, because a whole lot of normal Americans are clean and articulate. “I can’t see it”, just doesn’t cut it.
Perhaps we see what is happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing. Worse still, if we admit that we can see it, we become responsible in a way that we are not if we keep pretending, we can’t see it or hear it, or maybe don’t understand it.
Be honest inside your prayers.
Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming, releasing the pent-up anger, and not be able to stop?
Fear not! Do we think we have so little courage? Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle? I do not believe this to be true.
I believe in all of us.
My faith is strong. I believe in righteousness. I believe in a loving and purposeful God, and I believe in our ability to win.
We cannot escape the choosing. We must not escape the choosing. Trust me when I say your resolve, while extremely important now, is going to become even more important in the next 47 days.
Whether you want to accept it or not, we are all in this battle.
Believe me – no one gets to avoid this one.
We need to get hard now.

I would generally agree…except, a year ago would you have believed that here we are in late September 2024 and life in the US is fairly normal?

I’m right there with you Seneca. I’ve been here a long time and have always found comfort from all those on these pages I will never meet in person. We have definitely been on a ride and Sundance has led us correctly down the right path with truth. I think he has properly prepared us with teaching us how to think and assess the situation at hand. The bottom line is that regardless of who wins, the next few months will be not only extremely dangerous, but heart breaking. For whatever reason, we chose to be here for this event, and if we are able to except that, we must do our jobs by holding the light. Hanging on to our faith and our belief in our fellow man won’t be easy. The biggest temptation will be to surrender to our emotions and become like them. So many people have been brainwashed, but even if most of those finally opened their eyes, the cognitive dissonance would overwhelm them. I pray every day for Trump’s safety. With that said, I have commented before about a sense of dread in late September, early October. I had a dream a few nights ago about October 12th, and the sense of dread is still there.
For our nation’s sake, I so hope I am wrong and it is just something that will go away.

I grew up in a Biblical home meaning that we read the Bible, believed what it says, and consequently our political views were based on our Spiritual foundation. We had open conversations, and we were active participants in the political process. At home I never heard you can’t talk about politics and religion. It is what we talked about. My father was a Precinct Leader as was I years later.
We saw the lies and cover-ups in the press and the media. e.g. Chicago’s dead voters electing Kennedy and watching as the Rockefeller Republicans (future UniParty) not challenge it. Like France, Republicans have their own White Flag Factory ready to provide the flags of continual surrender.
Over the years evil has became more pronounced and evident in politics. Previously it was somewhat masked as simply “progressive” with the followers getting in line as Blue Dog Democrats.
Today, the masks are off and evil no long hides its hideousness. It has shown itself to be unabashedly evil with no pretense. Infanticide is now part of the Democrat platform. Murder for the convenience of someone who takes zero responsibility for her actions. They allow illegal immigrants to come by the millions and live off lives that many homeless veterans can only shake their heads at and imagine what someone caring or providing might be like. They’re flooding American cities with then and calling those of us who raise our voices of concern and challenging the legality of what’s happening as xenophobes and worse.
Evil is now on full display and doing everything possible to crush those of us who see it and work to expose it for what it is. Evil is now acceptable, and we are being treated as frogs in the boiling pot.
I agree with the exception of one thing: It takes two to make a baby and the father is also responsible for HIS actions as well.
In the fifty years that abortion was made legal the loser is the woman in the formation of family. Family is the biggest gift that GOD has given us for a happy life. The men have been both conditioned for “ if it feels good do it”. Free sex with no strings attached has been taught by society, movies and tv. ( accepted culturally).
Men have been taught they are weak and useless and they are toxic. This comes from the devil thru feminists.
THis Teaching is all the devils work. Christians must take back leadership of society by teaching morality in churches school s and the home. We need a revival in America. The barrage of constant anti Trump propaganda is massive and intended to produce maximum hatred of PT via lies and fear mongering predictions. He’s their “devil” to hate and fear.
Low information “superstars” like Swift haven’t a clue about reality and well known celebs like Oprah and many other Dem operators that know the truth eagerly assist the Dem machine in capturing the minds of reg. Dem voters. Why do proud Dem voters never acknowledge the terrible suffering that has been generated by Biden/Harris/their handlers.
My childhood home was frequently in a state of terror (not sexual) and the intensity increased as I aged. My heart would pound on my chest and on and on. Irrational panic attacks began in high school whenever my heart beat increased due to a “fearful speech” etc. I only mention this because I am appalled at the lack of empathy and compassion for the victims of Dem policies.
Surely they must have experienced extreme sustained fear sometime in their lives. Behind the stats and names of the avoidable dead, the rapes (often together) and all the other suffering and fear caused by migrant crime alone is the fear and suffering that the “stat” fails to mention.
It seems that the Dem machine has produced levels of Trump hatred that overwhelm any other concerns including the incalculable hours of fear and suffering the victims of migrant crime endured until their deaths or the rape and beating ended. Swift and Oprah have “researched the candidates” but still choose Harris over “mean tweet” Trump who is still trying to end the suffering of others despite 2 attempts to kill him.

But this post, combined with my current situation, and The Chosen Episode where they show Jesus say the verse about “being a divider” all happening within a few hours of each other – was a game changer. GOD IS GOOD!!
I dare say (hopefully without sounding sacrilegious), respectfully, Sundance is reminding me of John the Baptist. He’s showing us the truth.
If you haven’t seen the series The Chosen…. I HIGHLY recommend it. I’m in my 50’s, been a Christian-raised in the Church/still go to Church – all my life and I have never seen such a great adaptation.
