Apparently, the rumors of Ron DeSantis starting a state-level independent investigation has led the DeSantis supporters to believe Ron is doing something. However, there’s no truth to any of it.
FACTS: Asked in a press conference today about the second assassination attempt against Donald Trump, the Florida governor told the media he had not talked to President Trump; however, he did expect an announcement to be “forthcoming” that Florida will investigate the events of the assassination attempt. Ryan Wesley Routh was placed in the custody of the FBI immediately after his arrest last evening. Routh appeared in federal court today, where he is charged with federal gun charges.
Politico – […] In court papers filed Monday morning, an FBI agent alleged that Routh started staking out Trump’s golf course at about 2 a.m. on Sunday. Twelve hours later, as Trump was golfing, a Secret Service agent walking the course’s perimeter saw Routh’s semi-automatic rifle poking through the fence surrounding the course. The agent fired at him and Routh fled. He was later arrested by local law enforcement and has been charged by federal prosecutors with gun crimes. (more)

Also the timing is suspicious coming after whistleblower testimony to ABC working with Harris to fix the debate in her favor in a number of ways.
Mike Benz has pointed out that Routh is involved with the “visas for terrorists” program at the interface between CIA-State-DoD. Apparently John Brennan played this role as Station Chief in Saudi Arabia getting visas for terrorists just prior to 9/11.
We do not know who, specifically is ordering the killing of Trump. It does seem to me that the CIA has a spotty record on assassinations, with plenty of successful operations and multiple failures too, as in all the times they tried and failed to assassinate Castro.
We do not know if this Routh person was going to assassinate Trump or not, we are going by USSS agent saying he saw a gun pointed at Trump from the bushes. Anything a USSS agent says is worth questioning at this point.

What I have read is that it was a Secret Service agent who saw the rifle and fired the shots. It was local LEO (sheriff department) who made the arrest after a vigilant citizen got phot of car and license plate and provide this to the sheriff department. I read he was not arrested at the golf course, but was arrested within one hour due to the license number being known.
A different blog shared a frequent comment :

The federal charges are 1) convicted felon in possession of a firearm – it’s true, he is a convicted felon, and he had a firearm 2) possession of a firearm where the serial number has been defaced so it can’t be read. Those two charges carry max sentence of 20 yrs in prison and a large fine. I don’t know what the minimum is, but max 15 years for the first, and 5 years for the second. I can see Florida pursuing “attempted murder” charges and DeSantis apparently thinks there is enough there to make it stick. Routh had “ceramic plates” as protection against being shot at while he was crouched in the bushes or lying in the bushes, with the tip of the rifle exposed, pointing to the golf course where Trump was approaching. I would hope that he can be charged with attempted murder because that is sure what it looks like to me. The Secret Service agent obviously thought he had a legitimate reason to take the shot(s) as he did. Little fact that I have only seen in one report – the vehicle that Routh was driving had license plates from a different vehicle that had been stolen. So maybe there is a state charge in that as well, not as serious as attempted murder – but tags from a stolen vehicle? This is looking like there are some state charges here as well as federal. Pray that Routh lives long enough that there can be a true investigation. We should be praying for Routh’s safety. Especially if he stays in FBI custody. Sad that many of us think that, but not without reason.
Once the Feds have a defendant in their custody, they DO NOT let the State have them back, 9 times out of 10. If they’re a slimy low-life, good chance theFeds will let the low-life go back to the State so they can pollute the State prison system. If they are a semi-intelligent low-life, the Feds will hold onto them for future valuable Federal service.
Most defendants in Federal custody fight hard not to go back to the State system. Their State charges are rolled in with their Federal charges. It’s a win-win for everyone…States don’t have to expend (lots of) money on the defendant; I.e., prison/jail space, 3 hots and a cot, medical care, etc. The Feds then have acquired a future asset. Defendants love the Federal system…wonderful surroundings, top-notch prison garb, good food..the best the American taxpayer funds can provide.
States needs to take their rights back and show they are being accountable to their electorate.
There’s another option concerning the lying in wait. What if it was a plot and there was someone at every course where President Trump played. They knew when he usually played but not always where. Its a thought.
Florida is taking the lead with the investigation and the prosecution since they are able to file the most serious of charges, attempted murder and others. This spans at least two, and likely three counties in Florida. The county where it happened, the county where he was picked up, and likely also the county where he got the illegal vehicle tags. AG Moody is in charge of prosecution and the Sheriffs will be working on the investigation.
They made it clear that we cannot trust the same people who are trying to persecute President Trump with investigating this or any other matter. This allows all of us to know the truth and transparency will be available if nothing else thru the Sunshine laws of Florida.

Desantis has been a good Governor He was ahead of Trump on Covid. He does better then any Gov in my lifetime for Hurricanes. I agree he is much, much better than Rubio or Scott. He is a good governor. Sundance issue is he lacks character. He had Florida law changed to run for POTUS. That was underhanded. He has done great on hurricanes and on covid compared to most other governors. I personally am grateful for DeSantis given what could have been. There are some problems in this state he has not addressed, namely skyrocketing insurance on homes and condos. There are some problems I am glad he addressed or attempted to address – woke Disney and woke teachers. Ron’s ambitions for POTUS got in the way of him honoring Trump and waiting his turn.
