President Trump and his opponent Kamala Harris were both asked the exact same question about what they could immediately do with policy to improve the economic status of Americans.
This provides a very specific compare and contrast opportunity. Kamala Harris delivers a strange, disconnected and unintelligible word salad in her response, never answering the question. President Trump gives three specific and immediate tax policy changes to benefit three specific groups of working Americans. WATCH the first question and answer of both videos:

Watch the first answer from Kamala Harris below.

Let’s make Made in America popular and possible again.
Unions will make sure the product is unaffordable with their ever increasing demands for pensions, lifetime healthcare and ridiculous salaries.
Unions will “union” themselves right out of a job.
Car manufacturers will have no cars to make, no union jobs to give, if there’s a mandate for EV’s that no one wants.
Vegas will “union” themselves out of a job if there’s no one going to Vegas to gamble because they can’t afford to.
Comrade Kamala will devastate the economy worse than it already is.
Thus the need for government intervention and dictate(s).
It was “government intervention and dictates “that got us into this problem.
If the intent of this comment is to suggest that Kamal supposedly supports working families, such a suggestion would be false.
In any event, Las Vegas is a vacation venue — and, as such, is a very tiny percentage of the nation’s economy. Indeed, a lot of people avoid going there to the greatest extent possible. [[Las Vegas has great shows, but gambling and drinking are stupid things for an adult to do. ]]
Right now, due to the Biden/Harris economy, the average working person is having trouble putting food on the table, and buying shoes for the kids — Las Vegas is not much of a factor.
This speculation is not the current problem. There aren’t the many union jobs left. The good union jobs — that allowed our Dad’s to buy a house, buy a car, send their kids to college — no longer exist. Those jobs have been sent de facto to foreign countries.
President Trump wants to bring them back.
God willing, he will do so.
Almost all private pensions were phased out beginning near the end of the blightbringers tenure.
Public pensions will too when the system crashes.
Vice President Harris talked a lot without saying anything. This allows the leftists to fill in what they want to hear as the correct answer.
President Trump gave specific answers. This allows the leftists to attack him for not saying what they wanted to hear.
Psycho Killer: “You’re talking a lot, but you’re not saying anything.” -David Byrne ‘Talking Heads’.
Oh come-on, Maaan… you don’t want to hear that the people liked there lawns (a lot) — when Kamal was growing up in the “working class bungalow” that her mother, the scientist, bought in Montreal’s’s ritzy neighborhood.
outstanding summarization
yes. this is who we share a country with and whom our fates are tied to: dodo bird brain voters.
it does not have to be nor should it be this way.
I would love to see an experiment that quantifies how many voters are on prescription drugs, specifically antidepressants. I think it plays a very large role.
I’m old enough to remember the 2008 campaign. Queen Hussein the M(Most) F(Fabulous) did the same thing but much more eloquently. He spoke in platitudes. But without a teleprompter, he was only a loud voice in search of a cogent thought. “Hope and Change” as a mantra was all he needed. Now Brian “the potato head” Stelter is intoning the same for Trixie. Just show her “Joy” poster and all will be well. Yes, there’s so much “joy” in this one that 92% of her VP staff has fled screaming into the night. By the way, since when is a presidential campaign a national therapy session?
When Barrack Obama was running for an office in Illinois (early career), he answered a question very eloquently that didn’t make sense.
Analysts suspected he used a memorized prepared answer but to the wrong question.
This guy supposedly ran the school newspaper for Harvard Law school.
It’s all fake.
But consider this:
The entire government security apparatus didn’t know that Barrack is a homosexual married to a woman with fake children?
Moving us into a political world where every player is an artificially fabricated construct, groomed years in advance for office.
Ozero was the president of the Harvard Law Review. The position that has the real stroke is the editor of the Review.
“The position that has the real stroke is the editor of the Review.”
And who was that, Pete Buttigieg?
He’s another construct that appears to have “linguistics” training but has problems staying on point.
Good vocabulary, even good syntax, but his answers typically don’t answer the question.
Just a combination of canned mantras.
Mitt Romney had similar responses to questions.
Well-spoken but meaningless answers.
BTW, Mitt Romney also attended Harvard Law plus Harvard MBA at the same time.
Romney made $200 million with this mysterious company, Bain Capital.
Claimed the big score was flipping a phone book (yellow pages) company in Europe.
I guess that’s a bit more respectable than Obama getting paid $60 million for a book that nobody has ever read.
Bill Clinton leaves the Whitehouse several million in debt (legal fees). Somehow becomes worth tens of millions and a billion dollar foundation.
Billed the nonprofit $50 million in one year for “flying private”.
Rahm Emmanuel supposedly made $10 million in three years as an investment banker with no previous experience. Then quits and goes into politics.
My point:
It all seems phony to me.
Kamala is the Bonafide Leader of “The Free Shit Party”
What a tool.
It is more properly called that “Dilute the Currency party ” ( a/k/a, the “Inflation Party”). the so-called “free stuff spongy an illusion —
because the “free check” is all taken back via the inflated currency (i.e., higher prices) chasing the same amount of goods and services.
Or, more comprehensively, the “Destroy America and Western Civilization” party.
Agree but I wish President Trump when asked about the deficit would have said something about cutting spending to get the deficit down. Let’s get rid of Departments – Education, Energy, EPA and the IRS as starters!!! Let’s get rid of all the massive spending on the Green New Deal like billions for charging stations all over the country, stop with the windmills and solar farms, get rid of pork barrel spending and earmarks!!! Just for starters! We The MAGA People/America Firsters are over taxed and Congress spends far more than our taxes provide!!! Trillions in debt, what sane person could run their personal finances like that??? JMO
and if you do that Congresscritters’ brothers, uncles, and sisters will be deprived of their untaxable hidden income; then who’s gonna support these lazy leeches?
By “support” you mean when a raggety-ass politician (like Joe) comes into office penniless, and leaves office a multi-multi millionaire??
Well, we have a hard time finding people to dig ditches out where I live.
They just might find job satisfaction in doing honest labor…
I noticed that he did not mention cutting spending also.
Maybe it is not a good political angle to address but he apparently has Elon lined up to find places to cut waste out of the government.
“Cutting spending” is a stupid term for fiscally responsible persons to use. The more descriptive (and materially less ambiguous) phrase is “reduce money printing”.
The reason is simple — the word “spend” implies that the money is sitting there in some kind of a bank account waiting to be “used” for some humanitarian purpose — i.e., to “help the people”. and, what decent person could be against helping people?
So, don’t fall into the Democrat trap of encouraging the stupid Republicans to rail on-and-on about “spending”, which will make them look like jerks to the average (i.e., non-economist) voter.
First I am a “fiscally responsible person” and I’m not stupid. Until the Fed stops printing money government debt spending won’t be restrained but it should be, if we didn’t have a Congress believing that the more they spent the more things get fixed and the better job they are doing!!! But most Americans don’t understand the “independent” Fed Reserve printing money relationship/connection to massive debt spending so I just play stupid and use “cutting spending” as a euphemism for eliminating the Fed Reserve altogether. JMO
Bubby, you just answered part of your question, “Agree but I wish President Trump when asked about the deficit would have said something about cutting spending to get the deficit down.” He cannot promise things that the “Congress critters” are in charge of. He can only ask them and according to his last term there were many that did their level best to hamstring him.
Brilliant! You some smart.
Rush Limbaugh constantly pointed out that big government is now “baked into the cake”.
Cut it all in half (not possible), city, state, federal, and it’s still huge.
In the popular video “The Great Taking” the author/narrator claims that the current military in the West (call it NATO?)
is absolutely not possible to maintain without “printing money”.
They call it borrowing, but nobody has that much money to loan. So it’s (theoretically) borrowed from future generations.
Not in the video. Just a personal observation. The United Kingdom is basically a massive and technologically sophisticated police state. I don’t see how the citizens could fund that system with taxes.
That video is a “must watch” assuming you haven’t seen it.
Easy to find.
I think both concepts are valid.
Shrink government AND stop printing money.
Reduce the power and reach of government, and rein in currency inflation by tying it to actual money (ie. gold and silver.)
So it’s “damned if you do, damned if you don’t “ in terms of providing specific answers to questions Americans care deeply about ? Yes I am a Trump supporter but either way would you rather hear specifics or evasions to questions where providing a detailed response should be pretty easy. At the end of the day us Americans need to decide whether we want to vote for what we know (Trump) or for what we don’t (Kamala) who either can’t or more likely doesn’t want to tell you what her plans are. I don’t believe there are enough American voters who will be willing to roll the dice with Kamala and we can’t allow candidates who won’t tell us what their plans are to be elected into office. Doing so is national suicide.
Stormy……..I disagree………she said a LOT. A lot of “we are going to give you lazy f’ers free sh1t because life has been unfair and you are entitled to it”. Why should those rich 1%’ers have more than you??!?
That is exactly how I saw it.
What? So Kamal should have been more specific, and Trump should have been more generalistic?
I was merely pointing out with the legacy media on the side of the left, it is a HEADS the progressives win and TAILS the conservatives lose.
Comparing President Trump to Killer Kamala is like comparing Nuclear power to a ‘D’ battery.
As for contrasting the two:
President Trump is the light and the Queen of time is the darkness which separates the night from the day.
Who is Kamala?
Babylon sister……shake it.
San Francisco show and tell.
Babylon sister shake it.
Babble on sister, shake it.
Song by Steely Dan
Nice…apt reference!
I would consider Harris more like a dim lightbulb.
It drains energy while providing little benefit.
No… Kamal is the “Significance of Time” — the female Prince of Darkness.
She’s a clown. DEI candidate; next puppet in line.
Not only the answer should be contrasted. Look and watch their body language.
One is confident, determined, and Presidential. The other is a giddy nervous child.
And what genius thought a soon-to-be 60 year old woman in a business suit should wear sneakers with her ensemble? It doesn’t make her look cool and hip– it make her look ridiculous.
She is appealing to her Taylor Swift goofballs. She looks unserious and childish.
This woman cannot win because she is too embarrassingly ignorant to even be a puppet.
Taylor Swift made $millions from her songs about her bad choices in life, so logically, she endorses Kamala and Walz.
Correct… Taylor is a 34-year old artist, who sings the same eponymous song over-and-0ver about teenage girls in bad relationships. Taylor is trying not to show her age — e.g., by acting like an adult — so she is for Kamal.
Taylor has never had a stable relationship. But, how does this personal pathology apply to a choice for President? — vote for Kamal, and we will give you a decent boy-friend? What??
Swift and Harris both suffer from “Impostor Syndrome” look it up, it’s really a thing.
Ah, yes! But, unfortunately, Mr. Dominion may disagree with your last sentence.
Not a business suit..black jeans.
I put my glasses on and … right you are. Then the effect she seems to be going for is the same as the yahoos I worked with years ago who wore sport coats, dress shirts, jeans and penny loafers with no socks. They thought they were the cool kids. Which they weren’t. And neither is this imbecile.
At Northwestern 60 years ago, socks were not a part of our “uniform” comprising penny loafers, wheat-jeans and madras sport coats. We thought that we were “cool”. And, most importantly, so did the girls.
I was thinking about it in an 80s/90s business context. As soon as a guy got up in front of a room in that outfit, we knew we were getting bloviation. I quite remember the first time I saw it done. A director level guy, whom we all cordially disliked for his ham-handed stupidity, comes trundling out on stage wearing a too small jacket, which obvious to us suit wearing drones was not a sport coat but a suit coat, a pair of jeans and, heaven help me, wing tips. I don’t remember if he had socks on our not. He was thirty pounds past the point where he should have been wearing the coat or at least wearing it buttoned. A couple of rows back I heard a guy mutter “he looks like 20 pounds of sausage stuffed in a 10 pound casing” and about 20 people laughed.
Well, if she’s a guy…….
Even worse, those sneakers used to be made in a historic factory in Lumberton, NC. It was closed a couple of decades ago to send production over seas.
Full disclosure here. A couple of weeks ago, my sneakers came apart from overuse. Out shopping, I ran across the same shoes Kamalia has on in a Kaki color. Out of nostalgia, I bought them. They aren’t near what they used to be. Made in Vietnam. Nothing in the store was US made, of course. FYI, New Balance has an excellent $200 US sneaker, but were out of my size.
So there she sits, a perfect example of why we must have Trump.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/PiJHyGKpby4
“And what genius thought ………should wear sneakers”
The one who wanted everybody to talk about her shoes instead of what she said.
Her sneakers said more than she did.
Well maybe. We all knew she wasn’t going to actually say anything. 🙂
A business suit jacket, the slacks are actually black jeans.
Trash like her should never have been allowed anywhere near a position of power. The stupid want one of their own to represent them. It shows me the state of our nation and we need a very thorough cleansing.
Not everybody needs the right to vote. If voting rights were limited to those citizens who actually own a home on a patch of American real estate, then the democrats would probably never win anything again.
Completely and totally disagree. Our Constitution specifically was designed to eliminate distinctions between serfs (non-property owners) and nobles (titled landowners). If you don’t like how things are then you (and I and many others) need to focus on fixing the education system and the culture in general. That’s how we change things for the better, not by taking rights away from people who aren’t “good enough.”
I am fine with a Constitutional literacy test and English literacy test to qualify to vote, and having voting rights suspended for those on welfare,( but not for those on genuine disability or on Social Security or pensions. They have paid into those programs.)
And raise the voting age to 21 again.
Uh…what?
The Constitution originally gave the franchise only to property owners.
How can that be construed as “eliminating the distinction”?
The only way I can imagine its making sense is that you believe the natural instinct to strive and become property owners would be encouraged. And so it would, if we as a nation had maintained this rule – in fact, it did. America’s middle class made leaps and bounds in prosperity beyond that of every other nation.
But that does seem just a tad roundabout if the only thing planned was to “eliminate the distinction.”
SMH and puzzled!
The filth that needs to be cleansed from our nation is the communist doctrine that has quietly been allowed to creep into all of our institutions over the last 50 years while simultaneously desecrating the Word, Truth, and Knowledge bestowed upon us by our Real Savior, Jesus Christ!
Here’s a great article that explains the Founders intentions and beliefs 250 years ago and where we, as a “moral” nation are today. https://jsaw.lib.lehigh.edu/campbell/gwydir_holly.pdf
“In God We Trust”, um, unfortunately, not so much anymore and IMO, that is the core problem we face as we struggle to keep this Constitutional Republic and the freedom which it provides to ALL OF US!
I agree, but the rot has been infiltrating all our institutions in the West, for much longer than the past fifty years.
It is just now accelerating at a greater pace.
She doesn’t need brains, she only needs ballots.
Bingo, the fbi rounded up every January 6 participant from sea to shining sea with phone tracking but couldn’t find one mule that visited drop boxes 30 times per night with the same proven data
I fully expect that the FBI and USPS have everything in place for a repeat of 2020.
This government needs to be taken down by any means necessary.
Nor the RNC/DNC pipe bomber(s).
Correct… ion the game of “seek-and-find”, one does not find what one has determined not to seek.
The Trump plan lets you keep more of your money to spend today as you want to.
The Harris plan taxes you first and then gives back only some of that next year after you file tax returns on the condition you have done what the government wants.
Business start up credit. Only for approved businesses and then only if you have the right mix of employees under a government approved health insurance plan, producing only items or services approved by the government.
Childcare credit. Only for “qualified” children of a certain age and parentage. Benefit reduced depending on employment status, etc. There are 18 pages of condition in IRSS Form 2441. Of course, no benefit to you if you have no qualifying children.
If the people can’t figure it out after comparing and contrasting the yawning chasm of differences between President Trump and this nitwit, then it’s hopeless and the electorate has failed to do its duty once again.
I feel more like I do now. Professor Irwin quarry
“The World’s Foremost Authority”!
Corey?
Reporter: Comrade Harris what are you going to do to turn this economy around?
Comrade Harris: I grew up with neighbors who were proud of their lawn.
Translation: I will hire migrants to mow the lawn.
Which probably did take place in the Westmount section of Montreal.
So, Trump wants the IRS to stop taking our money, and Harris would rather keep taking our money and redistribute it.
One solution PROMOTES a growing, unfettered economy, and the other will STIFLE growth.
Anyone with a basic understanding of economics can tell you that Harris is euphemizing her plan to wreck our economy
Have you seen your typical Leftist Democrat, particularly the public union types (like teachers)? Marxism is what they want.
Not really… the Democrats are smart enough to talk about “taxing the rich”. But the reality is that the real Democrat scams include pretending to “tax the rich corporations” — that, by definition cannot pay a tax, but can only collect the tax which is paid by the purchasers of the corporations goods and services, and then remit the tax to the government. The second Democrat scam is simply to print money. When these Democrat “vote-buying” scams are exhausted, the Democrats then borrow the money from China.
Well your all wrong, this is what Brian ‘Tator’ Stelter said and he knows everything…../s
H/T TGP
He is completely correct.
Simple. Obama-Harris agenda will be the final phase of the destruction of America. So, word salad.
Trump agenda is to reverse America’s death march. So, lay out the battle plan.
One speaks to freemen. The other to natural slaves.
Harris is a mirage. A semi-shiny object that has been left in the ground too long. She is worthless.
She is absolutely brutal to listen to. It’s like running nails through a chalkboard (do they have those anymore?). She repeats the same lines over and over again without answering the question. Ugh!
Canadian trailer trash, not even eligible to be Vice president. Our founders were very clear in their intent for qualifying for the office.
14th amendment anchor baby.
Go run for office against Trudolt !
Now you see why Hussein and this dolt would have never been near the white house in the founders generation.
I hate my lawn now!! Thanks Kamala
Harris is obviously intellectually challenged ! I can’t imagine how she became a lawyer let alone VP and now in a dead heat for President!
The people who actually support her obviously do not have the best interest of our Republic in mind. This makes me question the intelligence of her supporters and the motives of the press that cover for Harris’s lack of intelligence!
If Harris wins this election it is time to stop sitting back and waiting for the next election cycle .
The time to stop sitting back for elections was Nov 2020
The same way that a community organizer in Chicago became a senator and in the next year a president. ACORN comes to mind and those from the mid-east’s money.
Inflation is a tax on your investments. The value of a company does not go down so the prices go up and you pay taxes on the increases when you sell them. It is an invisible tax that the demonrats spend like drunken sailors.
Don’t forget that she’s all-in on the “unrealized capital gains” tax where every year the government czars assess your holdings and force you to pay tax on the current “market” value compared to the previous year’s “market” value. Of course, if the value of your investment goes down, you get zero credit, but if it goes up – pay up. The camel’s nose is that this is only for “the very rich”. But is is always amazing how that term somehow gets “interpreted” to the middle-class. This proposal itself will cause a stock market meltdown as all the rich folks liquidate all of their stocks, bonds and ownership positions in companies and turn it all into cash, then move it all offshore.
The Federal income tax was supposed to be for “the very rich” when it was first proposed.
Yet here we are.
Both parties spent like demons. Look at the data.
This is my biggest gripe. I don’t see the fine details from any soapbox on how federal spending will be brought under control; or, how federal debt will actually be paid down.
PDJT is spot on when he sets growth as a key piece of any solution set. But there are a lotta details/complexity behind all of this. Take energy policy, for example. New Green Deal is not physically, operationally or economically executable at the scale advocated by the flock. That said, the immediate roadblock to a shift back to carbon based energy sources is the fundamental lack of CAPEX for O&G over a decade, the same long-term under-investment in O&G service industries (e.g., off-shore oil platforms, pipelines, large-scale commodity shipping capacity growth, etc.) and refinery investment. These capacity barriers cannot be overcome in a year or two (the infrastructure to do so will have to be built first – that requires capital and time). There are credible geophysical studies, vis US oil reserves, that the marginal cost of (what is called) second generation shale oil as well as existing oil reserves is going to be higher than what was realized in 2016. I can see a more rational energy policy being put into play under a PDJT administration. But it will take 2-3 years, optimistically, before fundamental market outcomes can be realized.
Beyond just economics, PDJT does not succeed if he cannot achieve control over the Republican party – over the people who actually vote for budgets. Let’s be frank, there have been a lotta “bipartisan” bills passed for a long time now. He can veto. But that’s not enough. He has to have veto proof leverage – he has to bend the party to the will of the people voting Trump back into power.
We have a “SPENDING Problem not a REVENUE Problem” in this country. All of the plans and proposals are wonderful, but until we get SPENDING under control this is all semantics. Neither party cares, watch Thomas Massie’s speech on the perpetual PRETENDING in DC……..
Indeed!
Money for “WHO”??? to get businesses started? Housing for WHO? Child credit for WHO? I’m no fool but WE ALL SHOULD KNOW …ALL her so-called giving money to is for ILLEGALS! She is NEVER specific to who that money is for! And where the heck is that Money going to come from? Our taxes!!! HIGHER TAXES! She is a snake in the grass! No plan! Word salad for sure! She still has her EAR-PIECE IN!!!!
PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS MY VOTE IN NOVEMBER 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
A presidential candidate wearing sneakers in a formal interview is unserious – I do not need to hear her Marxist gobbledygook.
So Kamalalala eventually does get specific:
A $50,000 tax deduction to start a small business, tax credits to house builders, give $25,000 for a down payment.
How many people pay over $50,000 in taxes?! How do you get that “deduction” if you do not pay that much or more in taxes?!
Does she mean you will start a small business and never pay taxes until they reach that amount? That would be a very successful business!
Tax credits to house builders: very nice, except the demand is not there. A tax credit will not cause builders to invest for a market which does not exist.
So we then see her solution to that:
A $25,000 down payment give-away!!! Free money! Really? Does she realize that she will cause MASSIVE INFLATION IN HOUSING PRICES IMMEDIATELY?
And then what happens, when the unemployed “first-time” buyer needs to pay for upkeep, utilities, and the mortgage payment?
And are these first timers illegal immigrants with no skills to stay employed?
It might all sound nice, until...the thinking happens!
Nice rebuttal!
Yes…harris is selling a bill of goods.
The unemployed/underemployed first time home buyer will lose their home and the big “investment” firm vultures will step in and buy up these homes.
They will rent them to folks who cannot afford to buy homes, and the WEF prophecy of “You will own nothing…” will come true.
Amen!
That process has already been happening for a long time!
Requiring banks to give mortgages to people who clearly do not qualify…
Who buys the house at the auction?
Always thought Obama was poster child for affirmative action but it appears he has been supplanted by Cacklela.
I know this is a petty point but what’s with the sneakers? She always wears sneakers! Seems unprofessional and childish.
She wears gym shoes because she wants to be “like the Cool Kids,” as in the satirical song from Echosmith.
But she has no personality, and will never be cool!
She is Kamalalala…with no music, just noise!
This woman is a total FRAUD.
She is a DEM!
Ipso facto, she is a fraud!
What a refreshing interview of President Trump by Steve Sebelius of KTNV. He asked informed, thought provoking questions and actually listened to President Trump’s responses. I’ve already emailed the reporter to commend him for the interview. Make Jornalism Great Again!
Fitting, I see the commie has her clown shoes on. She sounds like Mayor Pete 2.0…….lots of words without really saying anything.
The obvious difference, one a business man, the other a DEI selectee. One has a wealth of knowledge running a business, the other knows which boxes to check.
You misspelled “boxers.”
Every time I hear her talk, my brain cries. Seriously, is it just me or do y’all have a hard time following her rambling babble? The more I try to concentrate on her words to make sense of it, the worse it gets.
She definitely sucks the intelligence out of a room.
Don’t concentrate on the words.
Just go with the flow of her thoughts, er, uh,
well, just plug your ears and say “lalalala.”
It will be much more soothing.
She’s a pretender… regurgitating the same political rhetoric and drivel.
Rightful President Trump: the Lawn Order Candidate
Kamala Installah: The Law and Order-Episode Candidate
Rest in the Vine: MNN’s Weakened Update
The stupid Chuck Taylor All-Start high-tops are so lame. What the heck – she’s worth millions and she’s got to go out in sneakers to an interview? Very, very shallow. Whoever is her wardrobe consultant is a lunatic.
Trump is specific, logical, results orientated.
Harris is playing the touchy, feeling emotional card. Begging for the empathy vote…
Unfortunately, many Americans make a decision based on their feelings… not logic
I like their fashionable footwear.
True socialist: give everybody money. Where’s all the money gonna come from Kommiela?
It will come from your children and grandchildren.
I disagree with some of you I think she made at least one important point: she loves to live in neighborhoods with nice lawns!
Kamalalaladingdong’s profile is NOT her best look.. Perhaps a bag over her head would help.
Or she might look better in a mug shot.
And that big lump in her lower back doesn’t help either. Brings a lot of pounds to the picture. A toadstool squat thing. A true member of the mushroom family. Aka a fungus. Fungi feed off of detritus. WEF with the “you will have nothing and be happy.” I guess we all are the detritus she will feed off of.
Two government giveaways and the private sector working alongside the government. Just the perfect solution!! And the same old middle class, second mother story from the first question in the debate. Move along lady. We ain’t buying what you are trying to sell.
Hey, Kamala had that idea all along!! Weird, huh?
US hikes tariffs on Chinese goods
The levies on some products will go up to 100% by month’s end, according to the trade representative’s office
https://www.rt.com/business/603987-us-china-tariff-hike/
Initial take…..you (we) have two different personality types here, (or at least two different presentation types).
Trump = someone with a proven track record of getting results, but who ruffles feathers in the process. Someone who ‘states it like he sees it’, (with facts), with lesser regard for who it offends or whose feelers get hurt………a no B.S. sort of guy. [NOTE: In spite of the last statement, Trump has also shown himself to have an incredible affinity toward displays of compassion at a GENUINE human level. So when I stated “without regard for who it offends or whose feelers get hurt”, that is not to say that he has no care/concern for others. It is more a matter how he seems to think things through and gives accolades (or condemnation) where due. Sometimes the truth hurts and it normally hurts the ones whom are most culpable. It is a NIMBY sort of thing……..and frankly, people normally take paths of least resistance and mostly look at it from a viewpoint of “what’s in it for me”. Lesser is the quantity of people who will sacrifice for their fellow man. They exist, but are simply fewer and farther between.]
Notice in Trump’s answer…..he is suggesting government means that help to generate incentive while employing a MAGA approach. He is not outright GIVING people money, but rather is giving a path for people to keep more of what belongs to them to begin with. Coupled that with the entrepreneurial spirit that can exist in select people……and you have a recipe for growth. “A rising tide lifts all boats’, [ht: Reagan, but perhaps not exact wording?]
cameltoe = COMPLETE emotional appeal coupled with handouts. Once again, this approach is an appeal toward a certain type of person…………lazy fu_ _ _ _ _ _*. How many bosses are there at a job compared to workers??!? Therein lies the problem. There are many more people willing to take and be given than there are who will actually roll up their sleeves, sacrifice and put in the blood-sweat and tears necessary to get done what needs to be done to succeed.
Give a man fish and he eats until the fish are gone. TEACH him to fish and he eats for a lifetime.
Her jibberish is designed to appeal to the emotional side of human nature; while at the same time positing it from an “I’m one of you” angle.
Her sides’ approach is to take more of what belongs to We the People and then dish out a penance to keep the people dependent and sucking on the government tit. For the portion of We the People who oppose them or get out of line……TAKE more from them and give them lesser portion of the divvy back. ((Biblical similarity = pharaoh telling the task masters to let the people of Israel get their own straw for making bricks……while NOT yielding on the quota(s).)
Where is all this money coming from that they intend to give out for child tax credits, business start-up tax credits, 1st time home buyer tax credits etc……..? In addition, THAT approach will not HELP the economy, it will eventually choke it to death. Human nature in a business capacity is such that when the money being put forth, (subsidized), is coming from the government…..normal hammers start to cost $5000.00. It is just the way of it.
So cameltoe’s answer…….more of the same.

The thing that the lazy f-ers* don’t get is that the government does not MAKE money. They TAKE money and divvy it back out. Who is it they are taking this money from??!?!?
((*A footnote on the ‘lazy f’ers’ remarks. An observation, if you will………..that being that my side making these types of comments is not helpful to the situation. It is a polarizing remark and establishes an immediate barrier between the actual MAKERS and TAKERS.
MAKERS tend to not so much take criticism as an insult, but rather as a challenge. True MAKERS roll up their sleeves and face the challenge at hand.
TAKERS take criticism as an insult, thereby becoming victims who join the ranks of the “entitlement” crowd. A form of “Suppin-for-nothin’ers.”
I could go on, but:
1) In a way, my remarks are preaching to the choir.
2) I am a MAKER and have ‘sacrificial, sleeve-rolling’ stuff to get on to.
Peace out, Treepers.
There are those who think and those that feel.
Government prefers to rule over the latter.
I had only seen a few snippets of this on X…I sat down and forced myself to watch this entire thing…. she spoke for 11 minutes and said a lot of words…
We know Kamala had a mother and that she worked hard, so isn’t that answering the question good enough for Lala Land?
That was an excellent question and answer period for President Trump. The reporter did an excellent job as well. Both men were prepared and We the People who took the time to listen to this interview of President Trump are smarter for having heard it.
The opposite is quite true on the Coupmala interview. We the People are dumber for having listened to the first minute of it.
Trump vs. Kamala = Conservatism vs. Radicalism = Substance vs. Idiocy
Maybe kamala thinks everybody can get ahead by becoming a prostitute, the way she did.
Is there anything she says she wants to do that is not quarantined to increase inflation?
As Bernie points out, she will say anything to get elected.
What I found utterly devastating is the fact that I live in the desert. I don’t have a lawn. I have acres of sand and cactus- a Joshua Tree here and there. 🌵
I feel so humiliated!
Without a lawn to be proud of, I feel so inadequate!
Indeed, I am totally undeserving of citizenship in this great country. 😭
One of the things about her that is dangerous is, if elected, she will do something internationally to pretend she is a tough girl-boss and the consequences will be substantial.
“WHat are the specifics of your plan?” Kamala: “I grew up a middle class kid”
“Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?” Kamala: “I grew up a middle class kid”
She just repeats the same stories– all memorized. If asked to give specifics..she won’t or CAN’T….and WHY didn’t she get any of this done the past four years? Even Biden loathes her- did you see how he made “dr’ Jill” change seats with him so he didn’t have to sit next to her? I do not understand how she has anyone voting for her, let alone the numbers the leftist press claims she has…then again we all know they are all in on Kamala and lie and cheat for her (The moderators of the debate did not bother to fact check HER once and she told a lot on untruths)
