The second presidential debate of the 2024 election year, but the first debate between President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris takes place tonight in Philadelphia, hosted by ABC News at 9:00pm ET.
The entire corporate media system has been assisting the Kamala Harris campaign to establish a preferential narrative while simultaneously covering Harris’s exit from all prior positions. Harris has been prepping with the Obama team, and she is expected to play the race and gender card as much as possible.
The debate is being simulcast by multiple media outlets, carried on PBS and broadcast on Newsmax as well as other alternative platforms. A few of those livestream options are presented below.

The moderators were ready for that Springfield OH cat story… which they got a mayor/official to say isn’t true. He said that’s what he heard.

He didn’t answer the question re: why he called Rs to table that immigration legislation… but a few details re: why it was bad would be sufficient. He did say she doesn’t need legislation… to control that border. You don’t want to.
She went through a litany re: how awful the fentynal child drug trafficking is… and she has experience as a prosecutor. He didn’t say well you are NOT doing any of these things. All these horrors have exponentially increased.
Mods said stats show crime is down. I’ve heard that from dems say that too. He addressed it generally saying those stats are false but provide some correct stats and also… dems are NOT CHARGING peoole with crimes. You can now steal $900/day from stores w/no prosecution so those crimes aren’t counted in the crime stats.

I expected her to lie about everything. I expected it to be a 3 on 1. I expected Trump to be on defense most of the time. I am surprised by nothing here. And I don’t think either of them moved the needle.

Harris has put Trump on the defensive. She has succeeded in spinning him up emotionally so that he isn’t focusing on what he will be doing as president in 2025 and why. He is spending way too much to defending what has happened in the past as opposed to spending time applying the lessons learned from his first term to the future.
This was obviously the Harris & Company plan from the outset and it is working. Halfway through, she has the appearance of being in control of the debate’s agenda and its tone. It didn’t have to be this way.
