-Today I am posting something unusual. I have only done so once since the war began. It’s not from TV or a news outlet nor from Social media.
It’s from a comment that someone posted under an article in a major news Website.
I believe him and it has a confidential aspect so you won’t see it anywhere else (If I thought it could damage Israel I would have avoided posting).
Here is the translation:
“A Reservist: The Military have completed plans for Lebanon a long time ago. Orders went down all the way to the level of Battalion Commanders. I spoke with the Battalion Commander on the last round at Gaza which ended in August. He said that the ground stage (In Lebanon) is suppose to begin in September but at the moment there is a veto from the US and the military has frozen everything. There won’t be a war as long as Biden is in power, Israel can’t go head to head against the US who made it clear that they are adamantly opposed. All the chatter is for the electorates and are meaningless”.
I remember that many months ago Gantz who was a War Cabinet member asked for a deadline of September for Lebanon before he left the Cabinet.
Today there was a report that “Bibi asked the Military to propose how to handle the situation on the North border (Lebanon).” Sounds like more of the chatter. Like a PR for Bibi. I mentioned before that he is waiting for the US elections because Biden is a serious barrier. I also mentioned that the pressure in Israel is large so he may just use the sensitivity of the elections in the US to launch an attack in Lebanon with the hope that US lack of support will damage the DNC so they will tread carefully. But chances are that the above comment it precise.
-Unusual massive attacks in Syria. A few waves of air raids. One of the targets was a Chemical Weapons facility for research and development used by Iran. Overall Iranian linked Militias were attacked. 5 killed 15 injured as of now.

A few years ago, where I was living, I had a scented rhododendron growing in the garrden. It had pale lavendar flowers I don’t know the full latin name. But I am sure someone knows about scented rhodos.
Like your milkweed, this large bush was covered in butterflies. What a sight that was. It probably is still there but I had to move.

I had a pair of these Pileated Woodpeckers calling and than flying over my yard last week. First time yardbirds here. They are quite spectacular to see especially in flight.

Yesterday morning I took some seed to throw on the ground door the jays, cardinal, dove, squirrels, and and recently arrived crows which visit. They all feed together. None will go hungry at this house.
It was very early, and as I walked out I saw a small body on the ground not moving. At first it looked like a little bird minus a head…but none of the usual evidence of a horrible end. I bent down…no movement as I scattered the food. But suddenly, this little thing popped to life and fluttered to a nearby brick surround. I left him, worried he might be injured. But when I went back out, he was gone. It seems he was sleeping with his head tucked under his wing… on the ground? That has me puzzled.
Getting darker earlier and lighter later now. The seasons, they are a-changin’. Cold front moved through with welcome temperature drops. Unusual for Texas in early September. Blessed be your week, my friend….gotta go coffee up ☕🤗🍁

Oh I bet they are! Would love to see one…we have a woodpecker couple which visit our bird feeder occasionally, then fly fly away. In the spring I could hear them pecking not far from us, assuming it was for a home. But they are the common garden variety and not pileated.
In Wales we had all sorts of lovely little birds….blue and great tits, wrens, robins (though much smaller than our Texas Big Boys), finches of all kinds…on and on. I really do miss them.others was a rather nice fast growing tree just outside our rural home’s back Dutch door where they all congregate and decorate the tree like Christmas ornaments and serenade us with their pretty songs.
Now in Big T all we get are dove flapping at the window, alerting me that I’m being slack in feeding. One just now as a matter of fact 😂

I too have been noticing that its dark when I leave for work now, where a few weeks ago, I left for work listening to my local Carolina Wrens,& Cardinals etc singing.
Cool story, my first thought was it was stunned from hitting your home. I used to walk around my college campus after a cold front in the Fall and look for unfortunate migrant songbirds who hit the school buildings while migrating at night. Quite sad. Millions die every year in this way. The more of these wind choppers & buildings that are built the higher the death toll. The whole environmental movement was corrupted so in essence the flora & fauna do not have very many genuine protectors.
I have a long board feeder for them in my back yard and they are fairly frequent visitors. They are huge and yet quite shy. They will sit in a tree and scan the feeder area multiple times before actually coming in to feed. They look almost prehistoric when in flight.
Very cool benzy, and prehistoric is a great description. They are around but are quite uncommon, and shy. I read 1 pair needs about 1000 acres of forest.

We’ve had a pair of woodpeckers here all summer. I don’t know what kind though. They’re beautiful and fun to watch.
Downy’s are the most common woodpecker. I once had 17 at one time in my backyard when I was a kid. It helped that I had 4 suet baskets placed on 4 different trees.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

I read once that God made the domestic cat, so we could caress the tiger. I think that is so true. He must have loved cats too.
Although, paradoxically He made so many different beetles he must have been fond of them too 🙂

Just thought I’d let y’all know that I suffered a minor stroke on Friday. I am home now and very tired and expecting to make a full recovery right side very weak, but I can still walk. I can talk fine I can swallow fine and there is a little evidence of a stroke in my Face.
Will be taking physical therapy as an outpatient. But for now, I’m just resting.

Aah shoot Rah. Prayers going up for a quick return to strength. Prayers of thanksgiving you are alright. My husband had a mild stroke 10 years ago…only symptom was a sagging face. MRI showed it was an aneurysm that leaked but sealed up on its own! He lost some of his memory of that time but nothing else. Rest rest rest! And yes..PT too.

Typing is difficult but I am doing it using both hands. ‘don’t expect any long posts from me for awhile. I will be doing PT and OT as an outpatient.
Right arm weak but the grip of my right (dominate) hand was measured today by the Occupational Therapist at the Hospital before discharge and told it is still stronger than the average male my age. I have to concentrate when I walk to keep my right heal from dragging when I walk. Fast turning movements or trying to use stairs as normal are asking for a fall. I just have to be careful.
For now taking it easy because I’ve been told that pushing too hard too early may result in another more severe stroke.
I am expected to have a full recovery,
Took me over 10 min. to write this but doing so is a kind of OT establishing new pathways for synapses for coordination/dexterity.
Take as much time as you need to rest and heal Rah.
We will be here when you are stronger and will be saying many prayers for your recovery.
We will gladly be the recipients of your OT typing sessions.
Let the new synapses begin!
PS – my son’s wife for 26 years is an OTA (Occupational Therapist Assistant ) so I’ve heard her describe the variety of excercises you’ll likely be doing.
