Schools are closed for the rest of the week in Barrow County, Georgia as the community deals with a major tragedy. Four people including two students, and two teachers are dead; nine others are injured after 14-year-old gunman Colt Gray opened fire at Apalachee High School in northern Georgia.
More than a year ago, tips about online posts threatening a school shooting led Georgia police to interview a 13-year-old boy, but investigators didn’t have enough evidence for an arrest. Colt Gray has been charged as an adult in the deaths of Apalachee High School students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, and instructors Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimie, 53.
Two school resource officers encountered the shooter within minutes after a report of shots fired went out … The teen immediately surrendered and was taken into custody.
(VIA CBS) – The teen had been interviewed after the FBI received anonymous tips in May 2023 about online threats to commit an unspecified school shooting, the agency said in a statement. [SOURCE LINK]

If this kid got that gun from his parent(s) after all this, they need to be charged and prosecuted.
Why would you say this? Better to arrest the parents of the fbi agents that handled the kid
Because I have four decades of law enforcement experience and started out supervising juveniles on probation and that was my first instinct. . . . . . . which does not negate or exclude any of the perfidious actions of the FBI in this instance.
sure thing…
Thank you for your service!
I have seven decades of not being involved with law enforcement at all LOL
Walking and chewing gum at the same time ain’t that hard
or those who ignored the warning. BTW, are all the fbi agents mentally ill?
Maybe they’re on SSRIs too? The FIB?
this will fold into a gun grab edict round election time especially if they feel they are losing. Get ready for more
That has nothing whatsoever to do with Sundance’s post.
“Influencers” on social media are claiming the FBI is allowing school shootings for the express purpose of helping “Democrats” usher in gun control. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Sundance is pointing out, yet again, the FBI’s current purpose is to ONLY investigate events that are averse to the interests of the IC and DC institutions.
The IC and DC writ large could not care any less that troubled kids in troubled schools are shooting up the school.
Therefore the FBI ignored it all.
I got it, thank you.
Speaking of our FBI, Putin just endorsed Kamela, sticking his finger in the eye of Garland & Wray for their latest “Russia, Russia, Russia!” interference charade performance yesterday.
Our country is an international laughingstock.

Vladimir Putin claims he wants ‘infectious’ Kamala Harris to win US election over Donald Trump
https://news.sky.com/story/amp/vladimir-putin-says-he-wants-infectious-kamala-harris-to-win-us-election-over-donald-trump-13209969
You should know that Putin would never do that. He’s stated many times that he won’t interfere in our elections. If Putin actually did say this then I’ll find it, otherwise, consider it false reporting.
The Ic has a habit of creating a narrative through an outside the country news organization that then gets picked up by our country’s news organizations which then confirms whatever story or narrative they are pushing to be true and factual. Just an FYI
All governments that are able, do. Preservation and/or projection of power is contextual. The trick to keeping this in suspension is to remove the moral dimension from your calculation, especially since governments do not consider themselves to be beholden. Moralism is just another lever to them.
Correct. And that same article Clivus linked has a claim that Putin declared Trump had put more sanctions in Russia than anyone.
😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣
Of course he would and for the reason I mentioned above.
He’s humiliating the Biden Regime on the world stage . . . AGAIN
okay, I just saw what you are referring and I couldn’t agree more. Putin is absolutely humiliating our countries leaders by tongue-in-cheek on Harris.
He followed up with “In the end, it is the choice of the American people and we’ll respect this choice.”
Let me help a little…
Putin says Russia ‘backs’ Harris post-Biden exit
The Russian president joked that Harris’ “laughter is so expressive and contagious,” that you can assume “she’s doing well”
https://tass.com/politics/1839047
VLADIVOSTOK, September 5. /TASS/. After incumbent US President Joe Biden was “withdrawn” from the presidential race, Moscow came “to back” his successor Kamala Harris, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“Like I said before, the current president, Mr. Biden, was our guy, if I may say so. He was withdrawn from the race but asked his supporters to back Ms. Harris. This is what we are doing; we will back her,” Putin noted at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
“At the end of the day, the choice is up to the American people and we will respect it,” the Russian president stressed. “As for favorites, we don’t have a say in this. After all, it’s up to the American people to decide,” the head of state added.
The Russian president also joked that Harris’ “laughter is so expressive and contagious,” that you can assume “she’s doing well.” Putin reminded that ex-US President Donald Trump “imposed more sanctions on Russia than any president before him.” “So, if Ms. Harris is doing well, then perhaps, she will refrain from taking such steps,” the Russian leader said.
The US will hold its presidential election on November 5. Current President Joe Biden was supposed to be the Democratic Party’s candidate but after his failed performance at a televised debate with Trump, calls among Democrats intensified for Biden to withdraw from the race. On July 21, he announced his decision to drop out and support Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for US president. Trump is the Republican presidential candidate in the election.
If (we think) it be so, so it is…
I’ve watched Putin give many speeches, and I’ve not seen that discussion you posted. Right now, more than 30 countries are beginning a major shift towards the BRICS, Malaysia is the most recent.
Our country is gearing up for war big time, we are in debt, no one is buying our debt, our country has to cook its books in order to show that there’s no problems and confidence is at at all-time low. Our country needs to default because there is no way out of this. War is the only solution.
If the can do it before President Trump gets in and this is if they even allow it. Then he’s trapped, especially if Congress for the first time since the Middle East, declares war.
Truth is, is Putin would actually love Kamala. It benefits the further advancement of BRICS. Why the heck would other countries have confidence in America’s support with her at the helm, even though she isn’t driving, if you know what I mean.
So Putin has a Willie Brown side? Just asking.
she is not prime time anymore. Her day is done for using her money maker…..
Putin says luv me some fellow commies to subvert Amerika for the coming takeover.
It would help if Putin was a communist, but he is not.
Let me add something fresh…
Harris, unlike Trump, wouldn’t be independent in foreign policy as president — analyst
According to Sergey Samuilov, Kamala Harris “will follow the course of the party apparatus, which is set up in the way that Joe Biden acted, that is, to support Ukraine and meet the interests of the defense industry”
https://tass.com/world/1839299
MOSCOW, September 5. /TASS/. Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris will probably not be independent in foreign policy issues and is set to continue the party’s policy, Sergey Samuilov, head of the Center for Research on the US Foreign Policy Mechanism.
The center is part of the Institute of the United States and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“Kamala Harris is essentially an amateur in foreign policy. If she becomes president and there are enough qualified aides around her, including foreign policy aides, she will follow their advice,” Samuilov told TASS. “Behind the aides will be certain forces, including those from the defense industry, which makes nice money from the hybrid war that the United States and the collective West are waging against Russia on the territory of Ukraine.”
According to the researcher, if Harris wins the election, “there will be no serious improvements in bilateral relations.”
“The strength of the US Democratic Party is its powerful party apparatus. Harris will follow the course of the party apparatus, which is set up in the way that Joe Biden acted, that is, to support Ukraine and meet the interests of the defense industry,” he said.
While Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to the researcher, occasionally spoke about the need to improve relations with Russia, in terms of sanctions and diplomatic warfare he “surpassed the presidents who led the United States during the Cold War.” Unlike Harris, Trump “has his own position and can impose his will, for which he is hated by the ‘deep state,’” Samuilov said.
Still, the victory of the Republican candidate, according to the researcher, could spur certain progress in relations between Russia and the United States.
“During the first term, a president is fighting for reelection, and during the second term he must do something good in the US foreign policy to make history,” he said. “And that means Trump could soften his position and come to some sort of agreements with us.”
Let us not forget, that politics is not the synonym of truth. It’s just…politics!

I always peruse daily.
Putin is having a liddle bit of fun and I love it!
After listening to his speeches for
years…..I also picked up on his humor…
poke in the eye towards Harris, and US
politics in general.
😁 🤷♀️ 💁 🤷♀️
He said that all democrats are predictable. He named Biden and Kamal Toe specifically. He wanted someone in office that is predictable. It makes his life easier. That’s what he said. It’s on video.
“He said all democrats are predictable.” And that is the hard reality. US Presidents predictably come and go every 4-8 years, but IC embeds are forever, and CONgress carries *their* water. The only way to effect a monumental change of policy in this country is to dig out all those UNiparty ticks.
If the American people don’t figure that out, then we’ll hear a bunch of rhetoric but see no lasting remedies here. A flurry of executive orders and actions without Congressional legislation is temporary; it disappears with the president.
Foreign powers who install our leaders via bribes, blackmail and voting software, know this *very* well. And the band plays on.
The only US leader who plays for all the marbles is *one* Donald John Trump. He is joined by every patriot and spiritual warrior the world over who understands where the hard battle lines are drawn.
Oh yes Putin did endorse Harris.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/05/europe/vladimir-putin-kamala-harris-endorsement-intl/index.html
The humor is obvious but it also circumvents claims of Russia, Russia, Russia doesn’t it?
‘The humor is obvious …’
Of course, you are right !
White House irked by Putin’s ironic comment about US elections
Earlier the Russian leader said ironically that after incumbent US President Joe Biden “had been withdrawn” from the presidential race, Moscow came “to back” his successor Kamala Harris
https://tass.com/world/1839391
WASHINGTON, September 6. /TASS/. The US administration was irked by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ironic comment about the presidential election in the United States.
Earlier in the day, the Russian leader said ironically that after incumbent US President Joe Biden “had been withdrawn” from the presidential race, Moscow came “to back” his successor Kamala Harris. “At the end of the day, the choice is up to the American people and we will respect it,” the Russian president added.
“The only people who should get to determine who the next president of the United States is is the American people. And we would greatly appreciate it if Mr. Putin would, A, stop talking about our election and, B, stop interfering in it,” White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby has told reporters.
Russia has repeatedly denied any interference into political processes in the US, strongly rejecting these claims, and said it was not planning to intervene into US elections in the future.
Distraction number 2.
“…Putin sticking his finger in the eye of Garland and Wray…”
Don’t forget the sour puss of all sour pusses, sitting on Garland’s right, ol’ sour puss herself Lisa Monaco.
Monaco is those two cucks handler.
After reading Putin article I laughed out loud. Putin has a sense of humor similar to DJT.
IMO, if they had prior knowledge and ignored it then they allowed it to happen.
There is no getting around it or pretending anymore.
Deepest condolences for the death of the 2 children, 2 teachers. The wounded and their families. Very sad.
Which has what to do with the FBI being operationally the private security of marxist communists in government?
Alleycat wrote: “Influencers” on social media are claiming the FBI is allowing school shootings for the express purpose of helping “Democrats” usher in gun control.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Sundance is pointing out, yet again, the FBI’s current purpose is to ONLY investigate events that are averse to the interests of the IC and DC institutions.”
The other side of that coin is allowing and creating events that further their interests which SD pointed out in his list above. Don’t be too quick to dismiss the idea they are allowing it to happen to get rid of guns. The biggest threat of all to the entire DC system is an armed citizenry as was intended by the founders.
The FBI has one institutional purpose now. To protect the communist marxists in government from all scrutiny or legal action for their crimes.
Sorry….I think the FBI propagates and pushes this crap….and grooms the kids using drugs, MK Ultra type tactics for the purpose of moving along their agenda. This is what the evidence of their actions points to. They need to prove otherwise because at this point, awakened people do not trust or believe this corrupt agency! In fact….the entire government and its weaponized apparatus!
I would like to think and believe differently….but they keep proving to me that this is indeed the perception they have generated! And…..shockingly will soon find put is truthful! Shocking to some……
☝️☝️☝️☝️
mkUltra was never shut down. It simply migrated from a micro targeted secret program to a macro targeted public consumption program. All the advancements in color and tv visual media and the refined audio media are used to transmit all the brainwashing to an audience that is medicated and ripe for manipulation.
I believe video games are a prime source of brainwashing .
The fbi has not been a good agency for decades….long before the BIG push to take over the country. Their past since the beginning has been heavy with corrupt and illegal events. MANY! I don’t think ClivusMultrum’s comment is out of line with the Sundance post. All information and comments are worthwhile.
The fbi is a corrupt and dangerous agency. And it started long ago…before the silos were actually a well oiled machine(s).
I’m not defending the FBI.
And I stand by pointing out obtuse distractions meant to take the thread away from Sundance’s discussion.
That the FBI is, institutionally, the private enforcement for communist marxists in government. They serve zero role in protecting America.
The argument for charging the parents for murder was completely off base.
By design.
The gist of your response aligns with I believe Sundance’s thinking happens to be (with a piece added by me): the FBI/CIA (etc.) are not concerned with the morality (my addition) of any specific event but rather whether, in their calculus, an event supports or detracts from the interests/security/wealth etc. of the Deep State, IC or whatever power node happens to be in scope on a particular day. He then moves on to assert that operating on this inference, past behaviors of the FBI et al are explainable (e.g., unresolved /not investigated instances of criminal activity); future behaviors (out to some limit) are predictable.
It’s an inference built upon a substantial data set of observable behaviors.
I was engaged in a conversation a few years back with a former Texas law enforcement officer. His narratives of what really goes on in that world were, to say the least, eye opening. As the conversation unwound it arrived at the usual landing spot: how is the dynamic stopped? Who is held accountable? And what does accountable, in specific terms, mean?
I’ll only get to one end node of the discussion: what are the criteria for and terms of accountability. His argument was that the last was the proverbial thorn in the side. What is the evidentiary basis required to support accountability against specific individuals; how does that evidentiary basis change as the, shall we say, severity of the accountability grow in magnitude (to include extra-legal actions).
The call to action is there. We all know that. But the basis for that action better be precise or you land up becoming your own worst enemy nurturing countervailing forces. In my own mind, accountability means going after senior leadership, financiers…the string pullers…..behind all of this on strong criminal and/or conspiratorial grounds. If accountability moves outside the justice system (such as it is) then it’s a whole different ballgame. And you better be standing on very firm moral ground and specific factual evidence.
The point is that this is a lot more complex than all the “fire them all” or “load the chambers now” patriots are prepared to acknowledge. I am not whatsoever questioning the need to act; to start addressing in earnest the fundamental principle of holding individuals accountable for their actions. I think some of it, on a factual/evidentiary basis, can easily be documented (e.g., Epstein Island participants, classified info or pedophilia photos on private servers and laptops, etc.). How does accountability avoid sweeping up people who were not really participants; how is accountability in the context of a justice system that is politicized decided? These are some of the dilemmas lying in front of what is about to unfold.
Sundance’s posts, btw, always have more depth and implications than a simple surface message. By design, his posts over the years weave into a bigger tapestry. Hence, the not infrequent back reference to previous original analysis. Just recommending throttling back on the attacks on other posters who are not sharing idiotic outlooks on accountability. There are multiple dimensions to this issue of irresponsible government – that can fit into the set of board rules for posting.
What part of Sundance’s recent post on the FBI being completely corrupt and anyone who still worked there had to know and was guilty for still being part of that organization???
That last thing we need is more extrapolating discussion about whether some should be spared or not.
Our nation is in dire straits and we are supposed to give a damn about some ‘prolly’ maybe might be innocents in a Gestapo organization?
F them all!
I like you BK cuz I know your heart is in the right place and that you have specialized experience.
My post was directed at the questionable wisdom of applying universal injunctions against entire, very large organizations; an accountability net that sweeps up everyone. I worked in the belly of the beast: military, MIC contractors, intelligence. These are huge organizations. Not everyone inside these organizations is culpable. Some are actually as patriotic as you – maybe even more so. Is some engineer who supports development of specialized aircraft digital radars, a jejeune 20 year old hired to keep endless Windows patches up to date or a contractor sitting in a cyber/intelligence operations center for the Air Force sitting on the same rung as the GS-14/15/SES/Congressionally approved leader at the FBI or some military service? Some of us actually hung in there to stop the excesses in our domain while also attending to what we thought mattered – protecting the country from threats foreign and domestic
My real intent, which I thought some would see me leaning into, is that the day will come when the pendulum swings. One day, the people energizing (directly or otherwise) the swing /change in power will then become accountable – you know, many of the folks on this board and others like it. For those of us who agree with end state but do not necessarily align in every instance on ways and means, we are gonna pause – today, tomorrow and the day after – and digest the universals tossed around for thousands upon thousands of people without due regard for what purportedly is the guiding principle: individual freedom, adherence to the Constitution/Bill of rights and everything that implies.
There is a legitimate question lurking. What will the world look like when the people demanding change have the reins in their hands? Putting all slogans aside, it is very reasonable to ponder this question and to consider whether postured responses square with the underlying principles being espoused.
It’s really simple stuff. Don’t become what is detested – it’ll eventually undercut the noble intentions and goals.
There is a detectable drift.
The issue is not getting rid of the FBI, CIA, etc. Neither is it firing/destroying everyone associated with an organization that has lost its bearing. The fight is getting these organizations back under responsible control so they execute their proper missions, in consonance with the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The country will eventually need to fight wars; the country will still need domestic law enforcement that state/local agencies are not empowered to handle; the country will still need an intelligence apparatus that operates overseas (the worst of the culprits IMO). Sweep all of this away and trouble is sure to follow. Who do you think, when that time comes, is the “j’accuse” finger going to point at?
The goal, in my mind, is to get rid of the people who subverted the missions of these organizations (and hopefully have the evidence to try them and exact meaningful punishments). The fight is to get these organizations operating to their assigned missions with leadership that is trustworthy and oversight that does its job. The fight is to prune from these organizations’ operations that do not fit in respective mission statements. Frankly, that needs to be done at EVERY gov’t organization. Yes, some gov’t organizations and agencies are better left consigned to the dustbin. And yes, PDJT has an interesting position when reelected in defining the mission statements – certainly for executive departments/branches/agencies.
Just trying to illuminate the common sense notion that accountability in all of this is going to flip, we all hope, and that the ensuing action plan should not undercut the underlying principles. Universals, except for the underlying principles, are not the way to go.
Even more simply: you can’t screw every individual over just because they worked some place and not expect to have the magnifying glass move over to you. What kind of eff’ing justice and adherence to principle is that?
Guilt by association just isn’t an attractive idea as far as justice goes.
A well thought out and stated reply, Thank you!
I believe there are many ‘sticky issues’ involved in the clean up of corruption that seems so widespread throughout our country(and the world) and that any solutions offered must be well thought out and debated for their immediate and future ramifications.
Me too.
French revolutions are not what is hoped for!
Indeed!
Thank you for the reply!
phillip, every now and then I leave this article. I am doing so once more.
Given your post, if you have not seen it before, I think you will find this very interesting.
“PONERIZATION: How the American Republic was taken over by political cliques of criminally insane psychopaths”

As for that pendulum?
I, too, have been watching very closely.
Slow though it may be, I believe that pendulum is on its return journey…by the mercies and grace of Almighty God. Praying so 🙏🏻
Betsy…thank you for taking the time to share an analysis you find cogent.
Intelligence/counterintelligence, espionage, have been around for a long, long time.
Roosevelt created an Intel branch about 6 mos prior to WWII (the previous Black Chamber had been shut down years before on the premise that it ran counter to avowed commitments to global peace). The office was transferred from the executive branch to the military after Dec 7 – to attempt an integration with the long existing Army/Navy intelligence capabilities. UK had Room 40, MI6, and created an “offensive” intel capability (really spec ops if one thinks about it – to actively engage with resistance movements – in particular the French Resistance aka Maquis). These were real world exigencies. So there was some purpose in the genesis of these institutions. As a sidebar, during the late 1800s, at least in the crypto/cryptanalysis world, technology inserted itself as a prime mover/shaker in the spy business.
The ensuing Cold War was inevitable. Patton saw it coming. So did Churchill. It wasn’t engineered – it was built into the cards. The article sidesteps all the actions Stalin initiated from the 1920s through to post-war 40s/50s. Successful or not, the COMINTERN was very real. The success of the NKVD (eventually KGB) in penetrating the deepest recesses of American (and UK) security, science, manufacturing, industry through and after the war is stunning. Atomic then hydrogen bombs changed everything.
I hold my strongest reservations for what the CIA evolved into. It was one part Cold War dynamic and one part institutional survival instinct – one sees the latter in many organizations over time. Somewhere along the way, wartime activities like assassinations, gov’t overthrows, etc., suddenly became acceptable peacetime policies in service of the Monroe Doctrine or whatever other veil (e.g., Domino Theory) was deemed necessary to sustain the open and black funding flows.
I don’t have enough exposure to CIA or CIA operatives to conclude they actively seek psychopaths/sociopaths. I have met some. Found them arrogant and detached, but not sticks of dynamite waiting to explode; not intellectually weak. You can’t rely on the psychopathic personality types over the long haul. It takes a certain type of individual to do what these people do – at a very high risk level. I have known more than a few spec ops types – they also take high risks. But they have always struck me as balanced people.
There have been decades of civilian control of the CIA. At the end of the day, 10000ways to Sunday or not, it’s these people who either failed to institute course corrections or, for ideological reasons, actively intrigued in the morphing of this agency. Each President, his agency lead and the respective Congresses approving funding requests are responsible.
You mean like CIA Peter Strzok – on loan to the FBI for the “Russia, Russia, Russia” lie … as “balanced people” ??!
One guy.
Not germane to what I posted anyway. I posted that I did not know enough CIA types to draw a judgment. I did post I have met (actually worked with in a non-operational role) spec ops types. To clarify any confusion – those were military folks. Also, I should have drawn it out, the CIA (just like most organizations) is not dominated by pointy end folks. All these organizations are largely staffed with support folks who operate behind the scenes. The psychological profiles are going to vary.
I do stand by my assessment that psychopaths/sociopaths are not reliable over the long haul – really for any organization. Look precisely at the Strozk buffoonery for confirmation!
Betsy’s reference was really about the moral forces in play in the world (and specifically the intelligence arena) – good and evil. In some respects, that’s a hard nut to crack. My experience leads me to conclude the problem lies less in psychopaths and more in ideology. And, interestingly, the ideology does not have to be rabid in order to end in the same decisions and actions. From the perspective of outcomes, somewhere ideology does appear to cross over into the realm of pathology – an intellectual sangfroid (if you will) to the moral dimensions of actualized decisions. So I’ll concede that based on my limited knowledge of the Intelligence Mordor..
I appreciate your analysis based, it is clear, on what you have experienced personally. I have no such experience…
You say each president et al are responsible for the ethos and operations of these agencies.
And it is here from my position out of the forest that I have to say, given where we are today with colour revolutions (as an example), the proxy war against Russia, the refusal of agency heads to account for anything they do (most in secret), the incessant persecution of President Trump up to and including impeachment, and the continuing attempt to imprison him with Lawfare cases…and much much more…that I am having a great deal of difficulty seeing these agencies and the people who run them as anything but manipulative, amoral (even immoral),and, yes, in many cases psychopathic.
As I said, I am not in that forest…it is one which I believe would cost me my soul.
But that’s just me.
Thank you, phillip, for your thoughts and for your long reply which I found informative. Blessings to you.
Betsy….you are a good American; someone who obviously cares.
We’re both largely passengers in the same boat.
Who we are sailing with worries me at times. I’m reaching the short end of the candle. In my mind, how this plays out is largely in the hands of younger generations. I’m not optimistic about the prospects. Less so in the blindered/sheltered aspects of this, more so in the un-willingness of these generations to engage when core values are stake – they seem “indumbnified” with post modernist rhetoric. I suppose I went through the same thing during the 60s: a conceit that I knew how the world worked. It was not until much later, with hands on experience, that I realized I was completely clueless in those youthful years.
Your soul is intact and well defended! I try to distract my emotions/anger impulses by regularly revisiting the towering achievements of civilization in literature (Hamlet!!!), science, philosophy, etc; and golf (a constant pursuit for improvement)! There’s enough there to get up off the sofa each day and reengage. Others find inspiration in art, hiking, family – you name it. You have that at your fingertips at all times. While I’m not religious, my wife is. I know you find comfort and answers in your faith just as my better half does!
The one thing I find I hold most in common with the leadership of this board and this community: Live Your Best Life!
I hear you on the 60s. I was there. Not paying attention. As I have said often on these pages, I have an expensive degree, but my education didn’t start until I moved overseas. If someone said to me that I could have my diploma or those years abroad but not both, I’d take the box matches and set the former alight.
Shakespeare had it right about life’s being a walking shadow, strutting and fretting his hour upon the stage. A very poor player indeed. But as always, Almighty God will have His way. And it is that which even Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn understood…and it is that which gave him some peace. Individually we do what we can where we are to change what is unacceptable. Small ripples have a tendency to spread further than any of us can possibly imagine.
So with that, I bid you adieu…just brewed my first cup and am listening to Sir Thomas Allen singing Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Whither Must I Wander”, which I have always thought is most apt and bittersweet for those of us at that short end of the candle.
Phillip, Your comment that one had better be on firm moral ground and specific factual evidence when accountability moves outside of the justice system (“justice”) reminds me of the continuing conversation on this topic on the St. Louis Nextdoor thread.
Recently a man has been charged with shooting a ‘yute’ dead and did so by shooting him in the back while retreating. But this same yute had already rifled through the man’s car. This is becoming rampant behavior in our fair city, and daily residents rage at the damage/loss to their home, car, etc., and how it’s all the fault of the failure to parent and the lack of prosecution.
Often you see forecasts that it’s going to come to an accountability outside of the justice system, here and in other leftist cities.
Well now it has. Resulting in a 1st degree murder charge.
These same outraged denizens are full of their usual virtue signaling, “no thing is worth more than someone’s life.” But to the guy who loses his job, loses his home, loses his children, because he can’t drive his car to get to work, maybe it is, he spent hours/days/years working to earn that thing.
Accountability is lacking everywhere, and is affecting all of our lives.
I suspect we look at things differently in some respects, but I couldn’t agree more with your concluding sentence.
And I also agree that many of these situations are inherently complex. That was a point I was trying to convey in a different way.
To cover my six one last time: I see the necessity for a thorough housecleaning.
That’s why you always shoot them from the front. Never the back or side.
Exactly. They desire to ensure we are helpless from “their democracy” , aka lawless government. Australia is a prime example.
Agree … for 50+ years democrats have dumbed down society to its lowest common denominator and declared it “normal”.
Now lying, cheating & stealing is expected & justified – because death, dependency, deviancy and destruction in BLUE cities is the “normal” destroying the United States of America.
Kudos on the more succinct explanation!
Maybe it’s not the whole truth and nothing but the truth, but “Nothing could be further from the truth”? The end product of the IC/DC crowd “not caring less” and “ONLY” investigating to further Deep State programs is to spread chaos in the nation for the ultimate purpose of conditioning a populace to accept any “solution” to end it–a lockdown tyranny.
The 2nd Amendment is a barrier to this ultimate goal–and the IC and DC actors do what they do to forward this goal. So allowing and enabling gun violence and murder aligns quite nicely with the FBI purpose.
His entire family is a real piece of work:

This child had obvious problems, appears
to be his home life could have influenced
his mental health/illness.
After the FBI interview a year ago,
it would be also helpful to know what
was done afterwards to help this child
who clearly had issues.
It is so heartbreaking 💔, for the victims
of the shooting and the child himself.
I do agree with Clivus to some extent.
If the child got access to a weapon that
the father owned, and the father knew
of the previous threat….🤷♀️💁🤷♀️
Another CTH (can’t find it for credit) posted:
The shooter lived 6 miles from the school. A 14-year-old cannot drive. So, how did he get to the school carrying a gun?
Obviously an important question.
A 14 year old can’t drive legally. He probably wore a light weight jacket and baggy pants and hid the barrel end in his trousers and the rest of the weapon under his jacket?
Maybe his druggy mom drove him and he told her the gun was for show and tell?
Crime Lifecycle Management
He is a minor. In reality the parents are responsible for him since he is under 18. I think they need to be investigated. Like the murderer who tried to kill Trump. Yep.
Do you realize you’re line of thinking is part of the entrainment process…along with the 19 who upvoted your post. Apparently Sundance isn’t getting through to all the faithful followers…
we love to jump to conclusions when we don’t have all the facts
Chris Wray is more of a threat to the United States than Russia or China.
Amen!
Aside from Chris Wray being a eunuch and a primary promoter and supporter of the communist leftists, he’s made obvious the fbi is lost and only working contrary to the will of Americans. They’re a total disgrace.
our own government is more of a threat, not just Chris Wray
When Wray said his job on J13 was to investigate the shooter, my eyebrows raised. I guess the DHS and USSS are suppose to investigate themselves.
It is disgusting and telling how often these shooters are known to the FBI. They frigging interviewed him about gun related threats. And the reports that there were threats to this school and yet all those kids went off to school unprotected.
I say again, either the FBI is appalling at their job or we don’t know what their real job is.
I’m cynical enough to think that a school shooting benefits Kamala Harris and the view that American citizens should not be allowed to have guns.
Vote, please take as many with you as you can. DJT is right, this is for all the marbles.
“Vote, please take as many with you as you can. DJT is right, this is for all the marbles.”
Anyone talking, and not doing their all right now, is of no use to anyone. This is a fight for the rights, and lives of all Americans. The circus may be in town, but we are not their clowns.
Time will tell…
I often wonder what will be written about us hundreds of years from now… assuming our Lord doesn’t come first.
Depends on who’s doing the writing, teajr.
Yep. History is written by the victors.
Indeed. Given what our eyes are being opened to, doesn’t it make you wonder?
wow, that is called hitting the nail on the head
“…known..”
In several cases, our gov has armed/trained/ ushered aka engineered theses events domestically. Internationally, we do this all the time – that is to say, there’s institutional doctrine and support that can be pointed at any direction.
Sometimes it takes a nudge, sometimes you have to escort them there and film. sick
All we need do is look at the ongoing FBI cover up of 7/13.
They didn’t expect to need a clean up operation.

And often on the autism spectrum which ties back into your Rx meme.
As does the transgender push.
A shocking number of the recent child shooters have had gender identity issues.
I wonder where they learned that? /s
It’s a mystery….
I will tell you, hoosier, that the more I survey the landscape…not just here but across the entire Western world…the only thing I see is demonic madness, reprobate minds, and the prince of this world exerting his powers.
I agree, Bets.
I’m appalled at the UK in particular.
My beloved grandmother traced our lineage to the Battle of Hastings and I grew up hearing about the Magna Carta and various kings and how serfdom was escaped, how the US was truly unique and to be cherished.
You can’t look at the transgender movement, the mandated “vaccines” and infringement of basic human rights without seeing demonic forces aligning.
I believe it was Quinn that said on the daily thread they were flying Old Glory and the Appeal to Heaven flags. I pray for continued Divine Intervention and Heaven’s mercy.
I am an Anglophile, and had the great good fortune (for many reasons) to live the happiest years of my life there. Watching what has transpired in such a short time since I left is like watching some elegant Grand Dame sink to the depths of drug abuse…in this case the drug being totalitarianism.
It is not to be borne. But that is the reality.
I hope Quinn has his beloved American flag flying like so…
And yes, my friend. We desperately need God’s mercies, which are fresh every morning. Amen 🙏🏻
The felony meme is painful. I guess it’s where our common language is the same.
Douglass Mackey faces a potential 10 years for his Hillary meme.
https://www.westernjournal.com/appeals-court-hands-win-man-sent-jail-hillary-clinton-meme/
It’s a world gone mad.
An American made that meme. No such thing as “felony” across the pond.
At the moment they’ve discarded their usual elegance of language and call it simply “hate speech”.
But certainly the grotesque censorship is the same there…and here if the Communist Harris is installed.
Madness is the right word.
Amen.
every school shooting makes us closer to gun control or even worse a government gun grab
The FBI seems to have all the resources it needs to interfere with our election and make up charges and accusations and obfuscate under oath, but don’t bother to followup or track real threats to our children.
Of course, you wouldn’t expect pedophiles and enablers to care.
I idolized Efrem Zimbalist Jr. when I was a kid. Reality hits hard.
Propaganda has been going on for a long time, my friend. I, too, remember those days.
Yes, indeed!
There was only State broadcasters in the U.K until the internet and knowing what we now know likely the U.S.A. too.
Many of us knew something was terribly wrong, but we’re lied and manipulated too somewhat like an abused spouse.
Cheers!
Thank goodness for TCTH.
Recognizing the myth that was ginned up and fed to us that we bought wholeheartedly for the propaganda it always was is in its way a very real blow to the psyche. And that loss of innocence seems to have no end, as layer after layer of onion has been peeled back over the last decade.
Go have a look at the music video of Juice Newton singing Angel of the Morning — but through Big Mike kind of eyes.
“It’s All Been a Pack of Lies.”
Is it by any coincidence that CBS has a current show on Sean Hannity’s 99%.
Just when the criminal organization needed a public facelift
Just a piece of useless information, Mo.
His father was the great violin virtuoso Efrem Zimbalist. As well as a consummate and admired artist, he was at one time the Director of the famous Curtis institute of Music in Philadelphia.
Here is the biography of the great man and father of our “FBI” son.
I’ll leave a performance of the Brahm’s Violin Concerto in case anyone is interested…
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Efrem_Zimbalist
So did we. We loved that show.
It also inspired MANY to become FBI agents.
Prior to Efrem Zimbalist Jr. dying, he gave a few interviews.
He was an extremely conservative guy, (old fashioned Republican) a sincere Christian (converted from Judaism to Christianity) and very concerned about the direction of our country. He was someone to really look up to in real life as well.
The shooter survived this one.
Will be interesting to see motives claimed by both FBI and perp; and what comes out on FBI and local sheriff’s office knowledge and inaction.
Will also be interesting to see what was going on at that school, if anything.
I am familiar with this area, but it has been 10 years.
Used to be considered a midway point between Metro Atlanta and Athens (U of Georgia) (semi rural), known to be mostly conservative, laid back and unassuming.
Something very wrong has gone on there.
SD and Treepers:
A very suspicious and curious fact about the event and FBI narrative:
This high school is in Barrow County near Winder, the county seat, which is roughly in the center of the county.
In Georgia, unless things have dramatically changed, students must attend school in the county they live in, for public schools.
The FBI states they passed on info to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department a year ago. 👀
Jackson County is to the east/northeast of Barrow County. 👀
Why??????
Did this student live in Jackson County the year before? Or was his rantings against a resident of Jackson County, and if so, did they involve the Barrow County Sheriff’s Department?]
One thing is for sure: we are being lied to again thru omission of all of the facts, again! In less than 24 hours.
Good catch, BK!
In my IL ‘hood, school district lines are often different than county lines….I had one neighbor who’s school district line ran right thru the center of their house…one bedroom was on one side and another, on the other side…family had to pay for lawyers as two of their kids were literally in 2 different school districts. Counties did not matter…as often the county lines also transected the ‘town’….
I ponder this….the kid is still a kid…juvenile….14…really a dumb kid BUT at that age, he should know the difference between right and wrong. And the cause and effect of a bullet fired into a human body
Then….so they charge him as an adult…even sentence him as an adult…will this kid and his testimonies be kept under wraps, due to his age? Bench trials?
Just the everyday housewife thoughts here….the kid has ‘tasted blood/murder’ I do not think it ever wise to turn him loose on society, again.
I forget where i was but there was a link to an article and a family member(grandmother?) is coming out to support the kid…the article referenced a drug addled and abusive mother. Sorry no link….and time will tell….
14 year old kids should be out there with paper routes and cutting grass for neighbors…saving for their first car…etc…if we read that the kid has hung himself while in custody, i will not be surprised.
Pegon posted it earlier

Thanks…I later read the posting had been pulled…then the info surfaced again somewhere…TGP maybe?
Response to your first paragraph:
Great point about county lines. However, in this case, IF the perp lived near or on the Barrow / Jefferson counties line, he would have attended Winder Barrow HS which is closer to the line.
Appalochee is just south of Winder.
Though all facts are not known, it would seem either this kid was new to this school (change of address for whatever reason) or attending illegally.
I pretty much agree with everything else. Yes, he should be punished and put away, but we need answers as to why.
My suspicions are that whatever his home life was or was not, this kid was on medication, ie SSRIs that are becoming more suspected by the public and covered up by the government and Big Harma.
Alex makes a good point below. Are SSRIs being used in conjunction with suggestive mind programming, ie something akin to MK Ultra?
There are just too many incidents and coincidences.
See my rant on page 3…re mental health care and the medical industrial complex….
Makes Jason Bourne all seem real.

Thanks…! That was the article I read…don’t know who linked it…but unsettling.
Red flag:
Special Ed.
It’s unclear if he was in a special education program himself, but the fact that the adult victims were special ed teachers and one of the teen victims was identified as autistic raises the question of whether he had been placed in a consolidated program, either for special ed or as a result of school discipline (many schools are no longer allowed to expel violent children, instead they place them in a different building for 6 months or a year and then let them return to general ed after 6 months of nonviolent showing up).
Think Nicholas Cruz. Special Ed placement, then returned to his home high school.
With the information coming out about the drug addicted mother, it is also very possible the kid was in his father’s household last year, but residing with his mother this year, thus the change of school district.
Audrey Hale and a host of others.
Yes, I am becoming more and more suspicious myself of SSRIs and mind programming.
It is just too coincidental and the Feds always seem to be involved.
Case in point: while the FBI gets leads and passes them on, why is that they always get involved in the aftermath and take over or control investigations of local matters every single time?
Control the narrative and cover up inconvenient truths?
Frankly it wouldn’t surprise me if the reason the report went to the wrong county was because the Fibber found it easier to do.
You know, they have more important things to do than worry about some kids in the boondocks
Besides, the Fibbers honey might work for Jackson county and he just had an excuse to drop in
Maybe a Trayvon situation … zero discipline allowed by school/police – so “they” moved him from mom’s school district, to dad’s school district.
the shooter survived so far. you think the FBI/Fed LE has any qualms about letting a 14yo hang himself?
And that relates to my point how????
Am wishing I had saved the article…it had a picture of the perpetrator probably younger days…but just another dumb little white boy, if what I read was accurate. My exact thoughts…his longevity is going to be limited?
Here there’s a picture of him: https://thesuperslice.com/blog/colt-gray-aunt-annie-polhamus-brown/
FBi changed their job description to finding MAGA people so everything else gets missed or encouraged.
Remember, all things start with Obama. If you keep this principle in mind, you start to see the pattern.
Agree … the Obama/Holder mandate … removing discipline from high-minority schools – which gave us Trayvon, hoodies & lots of money to babymomma & sperm-donor for raising a gangBanger.
I think the law should be this:
If your kid is reported to the FBI for threats against others, and you fail to place them into a counseling program (which needs to be designed in a group effort by clergy, psychologists, teachers, and competent adults), then you are LIABLE for crimes committed against others until said child is 18. And you can be prosecuted for murder, too.
We have a terrible mental health crisis in our country’s youth. Parents are apathetic. I am sick and tired of my grandchildren being at risk because of it.
I have a counselor friend who has told me outright that she knows kids who are potential school shooters, and there is NOTHING she can legally do about it! The “rules” protect the disturbed, not their possible victims.
Distraction from the truth of the matter:
The FBI works as the government’s personal protective service.
They ignored this and others because it simply does not matter to them operationally.
MK Ultra
It never stopped.
Isn’t the father of the “shooter” of PDJT counselor?
a counselor
Yes. I believe both of his parents were counselors.
While I agree the F.B.I. is rotten to its core, a significant number of youngsters are totally disconnected from reality and the consequences that ensue.
My career saw it first hand, the tales of woe are lengthy.
Heavily medicated youngsters, especially young males, and truly dysfunctional/ criminal/ psychotic families are in every community.
The A/M are allowed to flourish in “ the system” is it by design?
Gods in charge so we will see.
Cheers!
The mental health problem exists at the behest of corporate “health care leaders” and profits are the driving force…the less they spend on actual effective care, the more money in their pockets….mental health takes a long time to achieve…they just want to get the person help past a crisis…and continue in outpatient….outpatient is cheaper…
TPTB keep harping on “the least restrictive environment” for getting people psychiatric help. That goes back to the mid ’90’s. and the closure of long term psyche facilities…all for humane treatment.
And still mentally healthy….
See my coninuation on page 3…
While I certainly appreciate your sentiments, I remember being a parent and how our current culture restricts what we can, and cannot, do as parents. The best thing is to protect your own children by not putting them in the school in the first place.
The Warren Supreme Court: removed prayer from school / legalized abortion / gave criminals more right than victims !!!
YET ANOTHER FBI ATTACK ON AMERICA.
Psalm 35:
A Psalm of David.
17
Lord, how long will You look on?
Rescue my soul from their destructions,
my life from the lions.
18
I will give You thanks in the great congregation;
I will praise You among a mighty people.
19
May my deceitful enemies
not rejoice over me;
nor may those who hate me without cause
wink with their eye.
20
For they do not speak peace,
but they devise deceitful matters
against the restful ones in the land.
21
They opened their mouth wide against me,
and said, “Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.”
22
This You have seen, O Lord; do not be silent;
O Lord, be not far from me.
23
Rouse Yourself and awake for my judgment,
for my cause, my God and my Lord.
24
Judge me, O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness,
and may they not rejoice over me.
25
May they not say in their hearts, “Ah, we have our soul’s desire.”
May they not say, “We have swallowed him up.”
26
May those who rejoice at my harm be ashamed
and altogether put to shame;
may they be clothed with shame and dishonor
who magnify themselves against me.
27
May those who favor my righteous cause
shout for joy and be glad;
may they say continually, “The Lord be magnified,
who delights in the peace of His servant.”
28
My tongue will speak of Your righteousness
and of Your praise all the day long.
Even as we ask “How long, Father?”, we know Your Heart is Deliverance, Your Purpose is Love and Your Timing is Perfect, Hallelujah!
“How long, Father?”
For this and so much else, Gipper 🙏🏻
Two questions:
1) Is there an institutional history of the perp being bullied?
2) What’s in the kid’s medicine cabinet? There are drugs prescribed to adolescents that have grandiose morbid obsession (or equivalent) as a side effect.
The kid did the crime and will pay, but these school shooting crimes have a common syndromic pattern all the way back to Columbine. If the kid is an outpatient on meds and suffers an active history of being bullied, there is likely negligence among the adults in the system.
The FBI will have company; like the school district and the outpatient prescribing medical professional, if there is one. No way the adults should get a pass on this. Who knows how terribly the parents have been underserved by professionals they depended on.
No telling yet how badly ALL the schools parents have been betrayed. Maybe there’s something new here but it’s not looking that way so far.
Often, kids who bully, learn that behavior from someone….
Find his therapist.
The list of screw ups is a stark reminder of the corruption in the FIB. Sad day in America when we have dirty cops with sunken chests and no morals. Their love of a pension (money) is the root of their evil. I’ll be writing my congressman shortly. (As if)
The FBI isn’t there to protect. They are there to kill, and allow people to kill.
Yup. Read this before Sundance posted. Par for the course.
Every……freakin……time
Several motorists dead or seriously injured in a series of crashes at an uncontrolled, known-to-be-dangerous intersection …. THEN the traffic light gets installed. The identical scenario played out at the local/state level.

Remembering Eric Holder’s gun running enterprise, one has to ask.
Well, there’s this:
https://nypost.com/2019/05/10/inside-the-hoarders-paradise-linked-to-getty-family-where-1000-guns-were-seized/
EGADS!!!
This entire thread is about the FBI being liars but now we now believe the cops story about “1,000 guns”? How do we know there’s not 267 guns instead of 1,000 guns? Besides, where does 2A limit the number of guns you can have? Or limit the amount of ammo? All that ammo was target and hunting ammo. All perfectly legal.
The article is much ado about nothing. The guy arrested shouldn’t have had guns and that alone should be the takeaway. Felon in possession. Period. The takeaway is this: GUN LAWS DON’T STOP FELONS FROM HAVING GUNS.
All the pictures show is an enviable personal collection that took lots of time and money to put together. Nothing else. Anything otherwise suggested is fear mongering and buying into the fallacy that government knows best about gun ownership for the public; which in government’s opinion is that only they should have guns.
The more guns you have, the better. Same for ammo.
Remember. It’s called the Bill of RIGHTS. Not the Bill of NEEDS.

What was the solution?
What a country!
The Fibbers were busy doing “something else”
BTW, I hear the school was informed that a series of shootings were planned that day and they were first…not confirmed.
On a different angle, it’s hard to comprehend what happens to someone that allows them to shoot innocent people.
How many agents chasing a “noose” that was a pull-handle?

There are so many questions about this as there have been about so many other shootings.
The shooter lived 6 miles from the school. A 14-year-old cannot drive. So, how did he get to the school carrying a gun?
Story is he walked out of class and returned in 30 minutes. That works out to six miles in 15 minutes one way. No way on foot. I suspect an accomplis.
LIHOP
Don’t know what that means and not gonna look it up. Being in a conversation, even online, usually assumes the intention to communicate which that does not. Oh, well.
CBS ^ The teen had been interviewed after the FBI received anonymous tips in May 2023.
Why would a person send tips to FBI and not local LE? Could the kid’s online posts have been swept up in a filter created to look for all instances of ‘threats’ by any one? That filter would be with a social media company working with a higher power to regularly turn over info.
Do people first think to call the 👀? I would call either local LE or most likely my sheriff.
This is not the first time we have heard that a mass shooter has been on
FBI radar or was interviewd by the FBI it seems to be quite often..yet
“the professionals seem unable to do anything to stop this..or won;t??
I read a report yesterday that a phone call warning to the school was made prior to the incident (that same morning), and the school did nothing. How did he get the gun into the building without it being seen? Why are we NOT hearing about his family’s political connections, or a picture of him? He is being charged as an adult.
A gun can be hidden in a backpack.
Given that the kid was a watch or monitor and was fascinated with the Parkland shooting, I think that warrants being able to search his backpack every time he entered the property.
There is nothing unlawful in monitoring a known threat.
The weirdest thing to me seemed like before announcing almost everything they immediately say they are charging him as an adult.
That never happens like that. Very weird.
i dont get it. run your mouth all you want. threaten all you want. that should not be a crime. 1st amendment. “known to the fbi” and all the other crap the 1st amendment stands. Here are a lot of you calling for heads because the kids exercised his 1st amendment rights. I dont like what happen. I supposed most of you changed stance and now support red flag laws?
1st amendment is for everyone or no one. Pick a side.
Threats of violence are NOT free speech protected by the First Amendment.
then there is no 1st amendment!
While I share some of the same reservations about the first amendment tradeoffs being made, I also believe you have set up something of a straw man argument.
There is a legitimate responsibility for law enforcement to protect – not just react. If an individual posts material that gives direct voice to violent solutions then, through a warrant process, this needs to be investigated. The argument here is that the need for and depth of investigation was not moored to actual potential for lawbreaking but to the interests of the PTB.
The First Amendment is not an inviolable right. Never has been. The key is explicitly articulating the conditions where it does not apply. That last, of course, has to be rigorously monitored to ensure that the bedrock notion of what freedom of speech really means is never subverted – another of the multiple challenges to our Constitution/Bill of Rights currently under assault.
I thought the Supreme Court made a decision that Law Enforce could not be expected or held liable ‘to protect’ the citizenry–regardless of the motto of many LE agencies to “Protect and Serve”.
That is not to say I don’t personally agree with you that “There is a legitimate responsibility for law enforcement to protect.”
Our constitution contains no provision whatsoever for a federal police force, nor any provision or mandate that the United States government (the federal government) protect a citizen from murder or mayhem by madmen or criminals.
The words “To Serve And Protect” on police cars is hype and propaganda. Try suing them for failing to protect you from a gang beating that paralyzed you, or from a shooting that made you impotent. Time and time again, state supreme courts have ruled police have no duty to protect any individual, but only protect the “public at large”. Besides Gonzales v Castle Rock, SCOTUS ruled in one other case there’s no constitutional right to police protection. And SCOTUS is right.
Gonzales v Castle Rock, 2005.

(In its entirety below)
Justices Rule Police Do Not Have a Constitutional Duty to Protect Someone
By Linda Greenhouse
June 28, 2005
WASHINGTON, June 27 – The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person from harm, even a woman who had obtained a court-issued protective order against a violent husband making an arrest mandatory for a violation.
The decision, with an opinion by Justice Antonin Scalia and dissents from Justices John Paul Stevens and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, overturned a ruling by a federal appeals court in Colorado. The appeals court had permitted a lawsuit to proceed against a Colorado town, Castle Rock, for the failure of the police to respond to a woman’s pleas for help after her estranged husband violated a protective order by kidnapping their three young daughters, whom he eventually killed.
For hours on the night of June 22, 1999, Jessica Gonzales tried to get the Castle Rock police to find and arrest her estranged husband, Simon Gonzales, who was under a court order to stay 100 yards away from the house. He had taken the children, ages 7, 9 and 10, as they played outside, and he later called his wife to tell her that he had the girls at an amusement park in Denver.
Ms. Gonzales conveyed the information to the police, but they failed to act before Mr. Gonzales arrived at the police station hours later, firing a gun, with the bodies of the girls in the back of his truck. The police killed him at the scene.
The theory of the lawsuit Ms. Gonzales filed in federal district court in Denver was that Colorado law had given her an enforceable right to protection by instructing the police, on the court order, that “you shall arrest” or issue a warrant for the arrest of a violator. She argued that the order gave her a “property interest” within the meaning of the 14th Amendment’s due process guarantee, which prohibits the deprivation of property without due process.
The district court and a panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit dismissed the suit, but the full appeals court reinstated it and the town appealed. The Supreme Court’s precedents made the appellate ruling a challenging one for Ms. Gonzales and her lawyers to sustain.
A 1989 decision, DeShaney v. Winnebago County, held that the failure by county social service workers to protect a young boy from a beating by his father did not breach any substantive constitutional duty. By framing her case as one of process rather than substance, Ms. Gonzales and her lawyers hoped to find a way around that precedent.
But the majority on Monday saw little difference between the earlier case and this one, Castle Rock v. Gonzales, No. 04-278. Ms. Gonzales did not have a “property interest” in enforcing the restraining order, Justice Scalia said, adding that “such a right would not, of course, resemble any traditional conception of property.”
Although the protective order did mandate an arrest, or an arrest warrant, in so many words, Justice Scalia said, “a well-established tradition of police discretion has long coexisted with apparently mandatory arrest statutes.”
But Justices Stevens and Ginsburg, in their dissenting opinion, said “it is clear that the elimination of police discretion was integral to Colorado and its fellow states’ solution to the problem of underenforcement in domestic violence cases.” Colorado was one of two dozen states that, in response to increased attention to the problem of domestic violence during the 1990’s, made arrest mandatory for violating protective orders.
“The court fails to come to terms with the wave of domestic violence statutes that provides the crucial context for understanding Colorado’s law,” the dissenting justices said.
Organizations concerned with domestic violence had watched the case closely and expressed disappointment at the outcome. Fernando LaGuarda, counsel for the National Network to End Domestic Violence, said in a statement that Congress and the states should now act to give greater protection.
“The First Amendment is not an inviolable right. Never has been.”

Never has been, huh? Prove it.
i understand investigating threats. that being said. The simple act of making a threat should not be a crime. Ive threated many people. mostly out of frustration. Ive never acted on them. My threats were not and should not be a crime.
If it is a crime, do we imprison the one who made the threat? Do we send the for “reeducation”? What is an appropriate punishment for “running you mouth” or “mouthing off”? Who gets to decide what speech is illegal?
there can not be a rule that restricts the government and then make exceptions to that rule.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
“or abridging the freedom of speech” matters or it does not. Again, pick a side.
You never heard that crying out, “Fire!” in a crowded movie theater was a crime? Where have you been for the last 50 years?
the act of calling out “fire” in a theater is not the crime. the words are not the crime. the “breach of peace” or “disturbing the peace” is the crime. it does not matter what is said. the crime is the disturbance that could cause harm. hoall out a cuss word, while disturbing the pace is not likly to cause “panic” or harm. yell “shooter” or “gun” when there is none. those words are not the crime. the crime is the act of causing panic that could get someone hurt.
look it up.
Have we seen a pic of the Student shooter? or family? once again this much later and still none? His Aunt made it sound like he had a lot of issues as did the school, the schools were warned ahead of time and nothing done?
He looks like an innocent 9-year-old in the released photo.
The problm of the angry little ship with an attitude should have been handled by his parents. With a belt. Too late now.
Always “on the radar.”
But still allowed to go into a school and shoot people up.
Rinse and repeat.
Several points if I may. 1) We’ve already had more reporting on this school shooting than we’ve had on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. The MSM is corrupt beyond redemption. 2) I can only assume we learned the identity of the shooter almost immediately because he’s a straight, white kid. If he was LGBTQ or of darker pigmentation, I suspect we still wouldn’t know the shooter’s identity. 3) The FBI was aware that this kid was a threat but did nothing. If he were a grandma praying outside of an abortion clinic the FBI/DOJ would have been all over him like a duck on a June bug. 4) MK Ultra operation in a pivotal swing State just before the election? Just sayin’, you be the judge.
His picture must be available somewhere.
School year books.
Family/friends.
Social media posts.
If he’s being charged as adult, the country needs to see what he looks like.
Why hasn’t it been posted?
Colt Gray’s aunt, Annie Polhamus Brown, has defended her nephew following the mass incident at Georgia school!
Picture looks like a six year old. Still has his baby teeth. How old is he now? 13-14?

…They knew, but they were busy tracking domestic terrorists like MAGA and Right To Life…
The FBI will continue to “know” of these shooters until the trail of bodies gives the Marxists the leverage they need to disarm all Americans, Constitution be damned. If that ever happens, then even the suspicion of gun ownership will bring them down on the hapless individual like Hunter on a dime bag. THEN we’ll see the FBI become serious about threats.
J (who apologizes to any dime bags whose reputations were besmirched in this post)
There is a limit to which incompetence can be used as an explanation or excuse
And it was the armed Resource Officer who confronted the kid shooter giving him choice to surrender at which point the boy dropped the gun and laid down on the floor. MSM is not reporting that widely – armed Resource Officers work. We know it, they know it and now schools know it. So logic tells me any school that refuses the armed Resource Officer is tacitly colluding with FBI false flags. And once again, Sundance’s headline says it all. False flags will continue as long as people allow the IC to carry them out.
Thank you, I saw it here from you before I heard it on the news.
Lets not forget 10 agents to investigate a garage door rope pulley in Bubba Wallace’s race car garage.
It hurts to defend the FBI, but what were they to do?
They knew about him a year before, and they notified the schools. What else could they have done? We don’t have pre-crime in this country. We have speech crime and thought crime, but not pre-crime.
My first thought when I read about the shooting along with Colt’s aunts concerns/ravings was that along with resource officers in schools there should be true councilors involved with the kids. Public schools would likely put weirdos in that position but steady healthy adult guidance early on might have helped.
And schools do put weirdo counselors into those positions. Then they are referred for mental treatment….which leads to SSRI’s
“Four people including two students, and two teachers are dead; nine others are injured after 14-year-old gunman Colt Gray opened fire at Apalachee High School in northern Georgia.”
Tucker Carlson mentioned these products. I believe he was terminated by FNC about 2 weeks later.

Guns don’t kill people.
People kill people.
There is a DELIBERATELY CAUSED, CAREFULLY NURTURED, SUPPORTED, AND ENCOURAGED mental healthcare crisis in this country, and it is being used to support and advance a political agenda. THNK! 14 year old kids had easy access to guns 50 years ago, but no teens were going around shooting up schools. What changed, and why??
A: They stopped gov’t funding for sanitariums and mental health, justifying it by claiming Big Pharma would be able to make little pills for what ails the mentally ill, because what they really want is to kill our 1st and 2nd amendment rights.
$200B for war in Ukraine, but not one word from left or right about the rampant mental health crisis raging across the country (because it is being intentionally caused and promoted!)
How sick are these DC ghouls??
Yes, this sick…as if Epstein’s Island wasn’t clue enough.
“Unfortunately, this prior warning -and the inaction therein- aligns with our previous discussion of the FBI and the factual mission of the organization.”
It would be nice if Sundance focused on WHY the FBI followed the LAW
and couldn’t do anything about a 13 year old making threats to school.
Maybe Sundance’s readers can explain it to Sundance.
I learned WHY from watching FOX news on youtube.
Don”t have time to write about what I learned from FOX news..
I would like to learn more about the recent shooting.
Who,what, where and why it happened.
I already know why I Hate the FBI.
The Democrats want red flag laws
and that might have stopped the shooting.
16 states already have them. red flag laws ..hmm
Dems want to ban assault weapons rifles….hmmm
Did Faux News explain it to you?
I will state it clearly … this goes beyond confirmation of the present day FBI mission accurately described by Sundance.
This is an example of a the FBI actually performing their present day Mission.
Kamala Harris and DNC needed: a STORY, AN ISSUE to claim, a shiny object diversion, media coverage sponge … et al.
The DNC was gifted a tragedy by the FBI in defense of their DC Puppet Masters.
The list of tragedies allowed and perpetrated by the FBI has always 100% coincided with the need for a TRAGEDY ON DEMAND by those in power and their puppets in the DNC as well as Uni-Party.
It is now no secret that the US Government has been studying mind control via narcotics since they acquired the WWII files of NAZI DOCTORS, all that was needed to implement weaponization was a reliable untraceable trigger and catalyst, which is NOW PROVIDED via Social Media Outlets…whose owners happen to also be under I/T contracts to the US Government.
A shooting like this was avoided in the Cincinnati area, when the kid was sent to juvie for a few years for inducing panic. Charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder were dropped.
HOWEVER, the adult in Colorado, who was coaching the kid (online) on how to maximize the death count, was not charged with anything. I’ve always believed this guy is a fed.
Both the kid who was planning the shooting, and the kid who ultimately ratted him out, are somewhere on the autism spectrum.

The FBI needs to be obliterated, their building burned to the ground, leaving no evidence of them ever having been there at all and never will be again.
