Telling his story about the time he spent with the three families out of the Thirteen Abbey Gate victims, listening to their stories, recognizing it was like therapy, and how the White House and MarxMerdia subsequently claimed he was using them for campaign publicity.
Those families are angry about that accusation, recognizing what a disgusting lie that is, reminiscent I believe of the suckers and fools lie Biden loves to tell and re-tell.

It was a marvelous treat to be a listener to things that are very personal for him.

Judging from the comments no one will agree, but this interview more than any other has convinced me that the people like Gabbard who are preparing President Trump for the debate should force him to listen to the several times (at least three that I heard and I started listening late) when the young woman asked very pointed questions which were important to her audience, and he just kept talking about whatever he wanted to talk about, he wanted to finish the story about the transgender boxer at the Olympics; I kept hoping that he would finally say “but your question was, ‘what would I do about the transgender problem in the schools to protect your children as president’” and then proceed to answer it. But he never did.
This happened several times, her questions were fairly specific, they never got answered, and she didn’t ask again. At one point she started to ask him something by prefacing where she had been and he jumped in, never offering her the opportunity to even finish the question. The story about how popular he was in Arlington Cemetery recently was not responsive to her questions at all, and sounded a little egotistical.
At the very end she announced that they were a nonpartisan group but she personally endorsed him. Had there been non-supporters there, present at a Moms For Liberty meeting, they may have become supporters had their concerns been addressed.
I really hope the debate counselors force him to hear himself, maybe teach him to restate the actual question, even if only in his head, to ensure that he doesn’t miss the point entirely. I have for years read comments like this from the left and always dismissed them, but this was the most egregious example of it I’ve seen. Thinking he sat down in a comfy chair after already a long day and got a little too comfortable.
An excellent, and fair, suggestion! When someone takes the time to attend an event, and to ask a very specific question, one has to assume that it is something of great importance to them. Therefore, unless it is TOTALLY out of left field, and could not possibly apply to others in the audience, then their question deserves to be heard, and answered, with as much detail as is possible, IMHO! Others will be paying attention – especially if it is a question or subject which concerns them as well!!
It is my understanding that there are several members of the the Trump team that read CTH on a regular basis so I hope they see your comment AND take your suggestion!

I do not agree with your assessment. Trump wanted to be sure everyone knows the sacrifice of the parents and the horribly injured persons as the result of Biden/Harris childish response to war. Imagine living the rest of your life with no legs and one mangled arm and a disfigured face to boot. President Trump wanted to emphasize how unnecessary the suffering and place the blame upon the people who delivered the suffering where it belongs. He has mentioned many times the agony of falling from a plane at 3,000 feet for the “other side”.
He says what needs to be said as he truly cares about other people’s suffering. He went back to the story about Arlington because it is important to OTHER people who “will never be happy ” and it is fresh in his mind. Thank Tiffany for understanding.
There are members of Trump team or circle that are clueless such as Peter Navarro who lacks the subtlety of thought to make a persuasive appeal to other groups that require an in depth thoughtfulness.

There’s absolutely NOTHING wrong with giving a suggestion when its intent is to be helpful. PDJT is a grown man, he wouldn’t have a problem with it being given whether or not he weaves it into his thinking. PDJT was ostensibly there to answer their questions and address their concerns – it was about the state of the USA and the citizens thereof. There were a series of questions about specific things – only one of which was a question given as an opportunity for PDJT to give his side of events at Arlington, where he was ASKED to come and be with the families on the anniversary of their – and the nation’s – tragic loss…and where he was asked by those same families to be part of their memories in the form of pictures.
You are so out of place here it isn’t funny. Concerned? Concerns not being addressed? Egregious example? FORCE him? TEACH him? He got a little TOO COMFORTABLE? Not RESPONSIVE? EGOTISTICAL?
