Yesterday during yard work I listened to the entire Tucker conversation with Mike Benz.
And then for the second round I went back and listened to it all again, because it was so chock full of important information.
One of the many things he explained was what happened to the word “democracy” in the Blob (which includes the regime media).
It’s not our imagination that it’s extremely different now.
The Powers That (Should Not) Be have made a concerted effort to redefine it, much as the word “vaccine” was hijacked to mean “not actually a vaccine.”
“Democracy” to the American public has always meant the will of the people. “Saving democracy” has always meant making sure the voting franchise is secure and that the voice of the people is what the government is supposed to follow. (And yes, we are a Constitutional Republic – with a democratic means of voting.)
“Democracy” to the Blob, ever since its evil self-spawn in the last century, has always meant the institutions – starting with all government outside of the “intelligence” branch but now including, as we’ve seen, all of academia, large corporations, the media – basically any entity large enough to wield power that they can capture and subvert.
They now think they own the entire franchise.
Therefore, as becomes plainer every day, when The Powers That (Should Not) Be mouth the words “saving democracy,” they now mean saving their institutions at the expense of the people.
Whatever everyone may think of Tucker, his response to and restatement of this was brilliant. (I’m just paraphrasing from memory here):

Agreed. It all starts in the public schools. I watched in real time the shrinking of the history curriculums, and the subtle removal of information regarding what the “ism’s” really were/are.
Formerly used text books with that info were swapped out for newly published ones, and we were instructed to throw the perfectly good older used ones out under the guise of the inclusion of updated history.
All good teachers keep used materials for reference. Shocking to see the omissions over the last 25 years when you compare.

In the local Louisiana Public HS’s the gay flag hangs in all classrooms. That is the teachers God these days. If the parents ever realize the teachers do not know anything either…..maybe it will change. Notice all new public schools look like prisons.
The simple fact is, they don’t want to teach children history. It is far more important to teach “social justice” issues.
This doesn’t compare to teaching materials for school children. When my daughter became pregnant I gave her my copy of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”, that copy was from 1993. The book is a teaching tool for new Moms and Dads during pregnancy. Someone else gave her a new copy of the same book. As expected, it had all of the woke terminology and crazy new liberal ideas…like assigning gender at the birth of your child, using proper pronouns, how to relate to lgbtqxyz care givers and on and on. So even brand new parents are bombarded with that stuff.
Wow really? I loved that book when I had my first born. It was a lifesaver. I had several books like that but that one was my favorite. He was born in 1994 so awhile ago. Sad that they added all that crap.

This is an excellent description of where we were and where we are now. Subtle changes by TPTB over the last 50 years have changed the reality of what the word democracy has become, right under our distracted noses. The last ten years TPTB have stopped the subtlety and banged the changes right in our faces more and more.
The word Democracy now hides the truth that communism and corporate tyranny are flooding our country and our elections. Many of the people have finally seen the agenda of the current TPTB and we are fighting it as much as we can possibly fight it. We must be relentless in doing so and it is a never ending battle.
We need to get back to the very thing you stated “ the will of the people. “

The problem with that term “Our Democracy” is that they don’t use it the same way you so eloquently put it. When they say that phrase, I take it to mean “our elite rule”. It has nothing to do with the will of real American citizens.
The “our” is a royalist pronoun. Like a monarch referring to themselves in plural to reinforce the notion that the monarch is the state.

I also know that if the exact things happened in the 2020 election, all the evidence of corruption, but President Trump were miraculously reelected after Biden was ahead in all the Swing States. Then ballot counting was stopped and then President Trump squeezed out the win the next day, it would have been chaos in te streets and the Establishment Ds and Rs would have demanded investigations and probably another impeachment of Trump for election fraud.

The thought just came to me that another reason why they use the term “Save our Democracy” is it takes away the connection to Nation. Democracy is an abstract, a malleable concept that can morph to the progressive steps it takes to control people, as the hidden powers march us to a new world order with no nations, no boarders, no liberty and a one world government controlled by cabal of jerks. Nation is not, it is an identity, it is home, it is something solid, a place of roots, something worth fighting for. They can not use the term Save Our Nation and at the same time work to dissolve our boarders, destroy our culture and history.

She’s vague to the point of vacuous. She struggled to give straight answers to her shifting positions on fracking and border security other than to say, “my values have not changed.” Fine, but she evaded the question of why it took the Biden administration more than three years to gain better control of the border, which it ultimately did through an executive order that could have been in place years earlier. It also doesn’t answer the question of why she reversed her former policy positions — or whether she has higher values other than political expediency.
Harris also relied on a few talking points that may not serve her well in the next two months. She mentioned price gouging, but Americans won’t likely believe that grocery chains with razor-thin profit margins are the real culprit when it comes to their rising food bills. Her $100 billion plan to give first-time home buyers $25,000 in down-payment support is mainly an incentive for ever-higher home prices.
A bigger weakness in the interview was the presence of Harris’s running mate, Tim Walz. Though the Minnesota governor delivered a fine speech at the Democratic National Convention (brightly enhanced by his cheering son Gus), he was transparently evasive in answering Bash’s questions about his misstatement about his military service, false claims about a D.U.I. arrest and misleading statements about his family’s fertility treatments. If there are other lies or untruths in Walz’s record, the campaign ought to get ahead of them now.

We were in Florida for a week to visit relatives who live there for very unfortunate reasons (one main reason is a “Disney Cult Addiction”).

Put into the law the criminal offense of theft by conversion and fraud with thresholds set equal to the calculated actuarial value of a human life and, if those thresholds are exceeded in the scam the people responsible for it are all executed as their theft has exceeded the value of a life and thus their life is forfeit.
