She told me, however, that all of my measures are completly normal! My bood pressure was 119/80—the lowest it has been in literally years. I attribute this to my 38kb weight loss. I rescued two dogs from an abandoned home a few months ago, one had no hair, looked like a naked mole rat.
The other was just matted up. The hairless one is now white and hairy, very soft. Both are fat now, seem happy.
I look in their eyes and see unconditional love, all the way to death and it breaks me inside. We dont deserve them.

OK, time for a little levity.
I have new temporary neighbors. They are living with their 3 children and 3 large dogs in a 27 foot travel trailer while they build their home.
The dogs are mostly in a small outdoor pen and not really happy campers. The husky leaves regularly. Yesterday, she jumped the fence, ran to another neighbor house about a quarter mile away – through the doggie door, down the hall, and into bed next to the lady of the house. Should have brought coffee!

Good morning all!
My brother was delayed and did not get here with his Bobcat with attached trencher until about noon. Got all the trenches dug. I got the drain lines put in the most complex and difficult of the places where I had to adapt to a PVC pipe coming from under the sidewalk and junction with another drain line I installed coming from another downspout before running out into the yard to the diffuser. Couldn’t have that part on hand like all the others I have because I had to hand dig around the end of the PVC to get to it and find out for sure what size it was.
Had to run an get a reducer to adapt from that PVC pipe to the 4″ corrugated black plastic pipe I’m using. They didn’t have exactly what I needed but some flexSeal caulk and a special type of tape made for use at the junctions of the black plastic corrugated pipe took care of that.
So all lines at that location are installed there and the trench backfilled. Of course, as with all of the lines I will have more landscaping to do as the backfilled earth settles.
I have always found it amazing how one can backfill a trench after putting a pipe in and still have to put more fill in later as the ground settles despite the fact the pipe installed takes up some of the volume in the trench.
Had to stop work at 16:00 to go pick Geisha up at the vets office where they drew blood twice yesterday to test the old girl for Cushings disease.
That leaves 3 to go. But those are all shorter runs in a straight line. I’ll get them done today if the weather allows. Then it will just be a matter of waiting for the next good hard rain to see how they work.
Steve called me at 19:30 to ask if I wanted to come over and watch the races with him, but I had taken my shower, my belly was full of dinner, my right calf was cramping, and all I wanted to do was use some biofreeze, take a couple of Bayer Back & Body, and lay down and go to sleep.
The way the trencher works a good pile of dirt ends up at the distal end of the trench. So back filling involves more shovel work than just pushing dirt back into the trench.
BTW for that kind of work a landscaping rake is a big plus! My brother did a great job despite the fact that was the first time he had used that attachment for his Bobcat.

Pastor and author Dr. David Jeremiah says, “It is not the hearers and ‘knowers’ of God’s Word who will be blessed, but the doers. The knowledge of God’s Word is important—without it, God’s people have been known to suffer.“ To truly know the Word of God is to put it into practice, living it out and entering into deeper relationship with its Author, the Lord Himself. Pray for pastors and leaders in American churches to return to the deeper study and practice of Scripture. Pray for repentance and a return to “pulpits aflame with righteousness.”

My niece, when she was little (4 or 5) had the most amazing voice and stage presence. She sang the National Anthem at many events in our small town.
She would stand right in front of the TV arms akimbo, belting out this tune – while my dad was trying to watch his beloved Red Sox. He would gently pick her up and set her to the side enough so he could see the tv: all the while telling her what a great job she was doing, and never taking his eyes from the screen. Ha ha
