Mornin’ dear Bet. Woke up earlier this morning with Little ‘Tink curled up on my shoulder. She is very deft at sneakin; up on me like that. But its a pleasant way to greet the morning. Haven’t had my cuppa yet. I think I’ll go down my my favorite Taqueria in a few minutes. They serve Community Coffee which is cajun coffee from La. It is a delicious blend, almost as robust as Bustelo.

So, since we banished those to the bathroom and closed the door away from the juveniles – the industrious little kitties now ****CRASH!!!**** into the vertical blinds! It’s big fun to fly like they are bowling balls in a bowling alley into the patio slats and make the biggest ruckus they can.
When they’re not on top of my desk, climbing on my printer, and making an indiscriminate number of copies.
It’s a zoo in here.
Two more hours and I can go to the gym… maybe I’ll find a bench in the women’s locker room and take a nap? Is it poor form to sleep on the eliptical?

Maggie is the most independent one of them all, but she sneaks in, sets herself to cuddle up, but can’t resist herself to “find the feet!!!” and must chomp on my toes! You. Can. Not. Move.
I have to intervene as I like my Ralph Lauren comforter and try to keep it nice without teethy puncture marks everywhere.
Harry is the most over the top snuggler… and he’ll sneak by to apologize on occasion. I have these king size soft bed pillows and he is so big.. he nudged his head beneath the one last night… apparently in the way of his “target snuggle”… and proceeded to push it aggressively out of the way and off the bed! If he had horns, he’d be a bull pushing a matador!
There is no protesting a Maine Coon dead set on snugglin’.

Biography: Henry J. Kaiser was an American industrialist who made significant contributions to shipbuilding, construction, healthcare, and manufacturing. He founded the Henry J. Kaiser Co. paving company in 1914, which became a prime contractor for major dam projects like the Hoover Dam, Bonneville Dam, and Grand Coulee Dam in the 1930s.
During World War II, Kaiser established the Kaiser Shipyards, which built Liberty ships and Victory ships using innovative mass production techniques. In collaboration with Dr. Sidney Garfield, Kaiser implemented a pioneering prepaid healthcare model for shipyard workers, establishing the Kaiser Permanente health maintenance organization.
After the war, Kaiser co-founded the Kaiser-Frazer automobile company in 1945, later known as Kaiser Motors. He acquired Willys-Overland, the manufacturer of Jeep, in 1953 and sold it to American Motors in 1970.
Kaiser further expanded his business interests to include aluminum production, founding Kaiser Aluminum in 1946. He also developed planned communities like Hawaii Kai and Panorama City and built hotels such as the Hawaiian Village.

When I was just a wee little bit, I was home alone and heard something that scared me. I called my girlfriend’s Mom over and she came into my house, while I had locked myself into the bathroom.
Our juvenile Seal Point Siamese proceeded to attack Michelle’s mother, Donna, climbed Donna’s leg, wrapped himself around her leg, sunk its claws in like a professional tree climbing logger, and proceeded to bite and attack her.
Donna ran out of my house screaming. Who knew? I had an attack cat.
Am not sure, actually, if he is part Siamese.
He certainly has the vocalizations of one, though “Wow! Aou! Mao!”
I do not, believe, however, that he is a fan of the former Chairman.

Ha! I got up to go to the bathroom. Came back to bed and laid on my back. Geisha the cocker sleeping between Sherry and I. Buckley boy curled up at the bottom of the bed on Sherry’s side. I lay back down on my back. Gabby the cat jumps up and curls up between my feet. I spread my legs some more an Gabby stretches out so she is touching both ankles. Laid like that a little while and then up comes Buckley and curls up between my thighs and that runs Gabby off.
Buckley is very jealous.
I give up and get up.
Was up at 3 AM… gave up at 5 AM… gym doesn’t open until 7 AM on Saturdays.
I knew kid wouldn’t get up for that early of a breakfast. I laid back down and crashed asleep… only to waken to it being so late in the morning! Kittehs are now REVOLTING like little Patton terrorists mad as hell that THEIR breakfast isn’t ready.

Finally got my 95 Dodge 3/4 ton with a V-10 engine back. Crank shaft sensor which sets the timing failed. My man had a heck of time fining the part. Ended up buying it off Amazon. I have a couple electrical issues to deal with and and a new dash top deck to put in it and every thing will work like new.
Yesterday I got the generator set on the foundation I built for it. Used the truck to take the trailer back to Steve’s.

Great. Back from the hospital Wednesday. Physical therapist came yesterday. Say’s her range of motion is already 5 deg to 90 deg. IOW she is within 5 deg of straightening her leg and she can already bend it 90 deg. She is well ahead of the program. When she gets from 0 deg to 120 deg. they will deem her ready to go without PT.

BTW Steve’s recovery from his 2nd knee replacement went slower. But now finally he had turned the corner and is walking with a limp and can get up out of chair with ease. We watched races together on Flo TV in his barn last night. He had his phone with him so Betty could call him if she needed help.

If you are asymptomatic for cardiovascular disease, not obese, in decent aerobic shape, have a good stress test result and, if desired, a clear echo of the carotid arteries (in the neck) and a clear cardiac CT scan–then all you’ve got is a lab result saying you’ve got “high cholesterol.” Family history is important, too, of course. A family history of heart disease, especially at a relatively young age, is a red flag.
Had a “doctor” push statins on me when 7 of my blood test panel markers came back outrageously off the scale. I’m routinely monitored so I have lots of history and benchmarks.
Thank God that I had listened to the Joe Rogan podcast about statins prior!
Made them redo the tests and when they again came back off kilter, insisted on a CT scan of my heart… 0% calcification or plaque. Zero!!! My heart is 100% perfect… what would have happened if I obediently obeyed that doctor. A doctor who didn’t believe in the benefits of Omega 3 and vitamin d.
Doctors today don’t practice medicine.. they practice drug dealing.
The covid years exposed Big Pharma for what is has been since the Rockefellers bought them and squashed natural and supplement remedies. They’ve been at it since early last century.
Yes, Woo…doctors…dealers and pushers. Not all of course. But as a profession. Horrifying. All trust gone.
Because they “belong” to a big “corporate” health care system and do what their bosses tell them or they lose their jobs and get black balled in the industry.

When the Drs get involved it’s often not a positive result in the long term – we just aren’t aware of what all the poison they give us is doing, until much later.
Statins – not stations! Autoincorrect does that every time – think they don’t want discussions about them.

30 years ago, there was a study done that found the statins lowered cholesterol…lowered the numbers but it did not prevent plaque build up or heart attacks. Disclaimer…if you have concerns, talk to your doctor…and do your own research…
Look at Alzheimers. It is lesions on the conduit of our brain tissue. Our brain tissue which is supported through fatty acids. A functional health doctor prescribes high Omega 3 dose for treating concussion brain injuries. I am still at a 4 Gram dosage per day, in addition to a high fatty acids diet.
I can’t tell you if high fatty acids “cure” Alzheimers – but when my daughter was in utero, I read a lot about the development of her brain and nervous system. She was high risk with her umbilical cord around her neck twice and knotted since 12 weeks gestation. (She’s a walking talking miracle.) I consumed very high fats to help support her.
If that can work during the development of a brain and nervous system – then shouldn’t it be important in the maintaining of such?
I’m not telling you to eat 12 lbs of bacon. I’m saying choose your fats wisely and seek the consult of a functional health doctor. Get the MTHFR blood test to see if you have a DNA deviation in the absorption of vitamins and minerals. If you test positive, you need methylated supplements. (Look for “methyl” in the ingredients.) If they are not methylated, then you’re just producing expensive urine and not reaping the benefits from your supplements.
I go back to see my functional health doctor 9/9 for my annual. I’m excited to see her.
I was an impressionable nursing student in 1978…they were pushing low fat diets back then….I had a brief conversation with a heart bypass patient’s heart surgeon…he said, way back then….that the research does not support that a low cholesterol diet helps prevent heart disease….
Health care research is so skewed to favor whatever opinion they want and not what is truth.

It was one of Britain’s “Two Fat Ladies” (cookery program) who alerted me to the scam of low/no fat.
She pointed out that fat…good fat…was essential for the production of serotonin. Immediately the craze took hold prescriptions for antidepressants escalated at an incredible rate.
More moolah for Big Pharma.
That was a real eye opener for me.
Profit is all, hang whatever the terrible consequences are for the people they prey on.

Our granddaughter asked Chris to design a bookmark for her the other day. He is an incredible artist, adores her, and so he did. And as I am sure I’ve said, Sarah Grace has been given the artistic gift as well, as well as many others…including a nature so sweet and loving with God at the centre of her life. She is a treasure for us and all who know her.
She came over yesterday to get this lovely bookmark to add to her collection. But it was only this morning when Chris went into our office that he discovered a small piece of paper on which she had drawn a wonderfully colourful detailed jellyfish and left it in secret for him to discover. On the back she had written …
“I was bored in class and thought why not make you something, too. So I did! The colours are not usually which I would go for but it ended up looking kind of cool. I haven’t seen the bookmark yet, but I know it is going to be stunning. I can’t wait to show it off and say ‘look what my grandad made!’ So excited to see what it is. Love you! And of course love Bucca, too…Love Sarah💕”

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
