Robert F Kennedy sent the following tweet message earlier today:
It looks increasingly like Robert F Kennedy notices the sand within his influence clock is running out fast. At the same time RFK Jr is sending this message, his VP running mate Nicole Shanahan says the Kennedy campaign is considering dropping out of the race and endorsing Trump.
The comments from Mrs Shanahan came during a podcast appearance with Tom Bilyeu’. Shanahan said there are currently two options:
#1. “Staying in and forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Waltz presidency because we draw votes from Trump…”
#2. “Or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump.”
Interestingly, it appears Kennedy and Shanahan are admitting they currently take votes from President Donald Trump. They no longer take votes from Kamala Harris. WATCH:

I don’t think anyone here is saying we should vote for him. Just saying he might not be totally evil and could even help Trump. He is a lib, but he’s also been right about the vax thing for quite a few years, so he deserves credit for that.
I hope he drops out and endorses Trump. That could be pretty significant. I know some people who plan on voting for him, who might otherwise vote for Trump.

My point; JR has not moved one iota from the leftist talking points on ANYTHING but the Vax and 1st Amendment (only because he has experienced suppression first hand).

Even though I was doing Physics, I took several of my requirements via the Asian and Honors programs. It was awesome, truly a great department, don’t denigrate anyone who took Asian Studies and Economics at UPS.

Speaking from personal experience, my almost 70 yr old sister who had been diehard democrat her entire adult life has decided to vote Kennedy even if he’s not on the ballot. She cannot support the dem party any longer, but also says she will never vote for Trump. It will be interesting to see if a Kennedy endorsement for Trump will change her mind.
It might force *some* of these Dem Voters to do a little research, which is something they have *never* done.
In that regard, it could help. A lot.

Shanahan should study her history regarding past elections, because in 1980 John B. Anderson was a third-party candidate for President. I recall that throughout that campaign his supporters were hoping to reach that 7% threshold so he would become eligible for federal funds. When he barely squeaked over that threshold in November 1980 his campaign breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Shanahan believes Americans want at third-party? What planet did she just teleport in from? Third party candidates historically finish last in a three-horse race.
The runup to the 1856 election found the formation of a third party to challenge the apparently declining Whigs and that party would dominate for a couple decades after. Name? Republican Party. By the time of the election they had absorbed enough of the remaining Whigs and other parties to become the defacto challengers to the Democrats, with the American Party bringing up a distant third.
Then came 1860, Lincoln and the Civil War, with the then young Republican Party dominating well into the 1880’s.
I think PDJT has the right idea, taking over the GOP and booting out the Uniparty stalwarts. That works better than a third party in today’s environment, is more efficient and provides effective challenge to the Communists. The Uniparty won’t go down easily though, and the Communists are always a threat. It may take a revolution to oust them. PDJT is trying the peaceful route first.

A bit more complex. A core problem was the 1852 Whig convention that deadlocked between conservative economic-Whig Pres Fillmore and the old-line Federalist Webster. That resulted in a compromise political unknown in Gen Scott getting the nomination which proved damaging to the Whig Party.
Then you had the emergence of other parties, notably the abolitionist Liberty Party and the Free Soil democrats. The political dynamic resulted in the debate over Kansas-Nebraska that ultimately helped usher in a re-alignment.
Keep in mind, the Whig Party was created as a fusion of various anti-Jackson parties and owed its existence to its claim as the major anti-Democrat movement. That left it open to claims from others as to being the “true” anti-Democrat. As Democrats came to be seen as the pro-immigration party, the Know Nothing movement created a political force separate from existing Whig Party. Free Soilers, Anti-slavery Whigs, Liberty men, Know Nothings all tried to claim the banner of “anti-Democrat” and made life difficult for conservative Whigs.
Anti-Nebraska movements were successful in creating Northern coalitions by creating the concept of a “Slave Power” (think swamp) that controlled the Democrat Party. By 1856 these coalitions began calling themselves a “Republican Party”.
Fillmore attempted to create a national coalition based on immigration/Know Nothing movement branded as an American Party that would attract old conservative Whigs from both sections but without success.
In 1856, did blacks and women vote/were those who could vote, better educated in CT?

I’d be very happy to have RFK onboard the Trump train. Head of the FDA would be great imo. He could really attack the credibility of the pharmaceutical industry by reviewing prior approvals and demanding real double blind vaccine studies. I believe his priorities in that direction are spot on and would greatly help the entire world by crippling the pharmaceutical industry’s ability to lie.

I listened to the entire 57 minute, 20 second Bilyeu’ interview with Nicole Shanahan, and her palpable disgust/animus toward the DNC and a possible Harris presidency was most apparent. Shanahan says there are two options for her campaign but her demeanor and body language shouts there is only one option she and Robert Kennedy Jr will take.
They absolutely will drop out of the race and endorse the Trump/Vance ticket!
