Does Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) have the votes to play chess instead of plays tic-tac-toe?
Yesterday I posted in the same place about the hopeless efforts of the chairman to support his efforts to investigate politically motivated prosecutions: He requested from Loren Merchan by means of a letter documents and communications between Authentic Campaigns Inc., the Biden-Harris campaign, and DNC related to the prosecution of President Donald Trump overseen by Ms Merchan’s father. At the heart of the matter is the question if Laura Merchan and/or firm has benefited financially from it [2] and why her father is biased [3]
After Authentic Campaigns Inc.’s CEO Michael Nellis replied why the company is not complying with the request, Jordan wrote another letter yesterday with similar content [1], adding: “The Committee is prepared to resort to compulsory process to obtain compliance with our request” (next deadline: 8/23/24).
Basically, it is noticeable that GOP lawmakers – if at all – only become active short before they doomed and almost all hope is gone: On 4/4/23 (!!) FPOTUS Donald Trump was arraigned on 34 felony charges related to the falsification of business records. Though shortly thereafter these family ties were revealed, nothing happened at Capitol Hill. Chairman Jordan is not a naive novice. Not issuing a subpoena and if not complied: Contempt of Congress! Easy to write but difficult to obtain if you unsure you bring it to the floor and have the vote to pass the resolution!

You are falling for a trick, built into the system, and your not alone.
You are focusing your attention on elected PUBLIC officials, instead of (also elected!) PARTY officials.
By means both fair and foul, the State Republican Party Executive Committee controls election outcomes.
They control the flow of money into campaigns, as well as advisors and other means of support. And they are BIASED against MAGA, in EVERY STATE.
THATS why we do not have a truly MAGA Gov, yet.
If the RINOS don’t want a MAGA primary challenger candidate to win, they most likely won’t win the primary, and if they manage to, the Party will gladly throw the race, and put a Democrat in, before MAGA.
Hence, while its a longer “road to hoe”, attempting to primary public office holders is a waste of effort, we need to primary out the RINOS on the State R party Executive Committee.
Only once WE, MAGA get operational control over the State R party executive committees, will we then be able to productively turn our attention to getting MAGA’s into PUBLIC office.

Committee chairs have no power, it is the Speaker that is the source of power to compel testimony, documents, etc.
If you sue a Corporation, you name the Company AND the CEO OF the Company, because you can not depose or put a company on the witness stand, hence you have to have a designated person to serve papers to, etc.
Well, the Speaker of the House IS the designated individual in any legal matters involving either House or Senate.
If the Speaker won’t sign the papers, Jordan can’t even file in court, in order to get a Court order to compel testimony, documents, or contempt of Congress etc.
