Then I watched the outtakes of CNN panels discussing it. They frame it as a flailing attempt to blunt Kamala’s surging momentum. Even they don’t seem to believe that whopper. Dour looking people, experts describe it as a 2 hour unhinged rant full of tired and thoroughly debunked lies, and disinformation. Which they don’t provide examples of: “Trust me, bro.”
And include the obligatory coverage of the EU threatening Musk with dire consequences if his interview with President Trump incites violence or wrong-think.
The sad part is, CNN viewers will never hear it for themselves, only this misleading secondhand account.

I heard a what sounds like a mouth full of saliva last night, too, but some comments last night said the same and others said he sounded clear as normal. I had wondered if some transmissions were making him sound that way on purpose. I saw some headlines from Democrat media criticizing his “lisp”.
Elon has put out a cleaner audio and it was clearly a glitch in the audio call software. Trump also put out the recorded version of the convo from his end.
I noticed that President Trump blamed inflation on the energy policies and Elon Musk kept stressing it was because of government overspending.
