Israel Update:
-US Intel saying that they are not sure when and how the attack from Iran and Hezbollah will be. Apparently they are still planning. This is a report after the other reports of 24-48 hours to attack. .
-Jorden let Iran, Israel and the US know that they will not let anyone use their airspace.
But I don’t know what it means if Iran does send the drones and Missiles over Jordan like the last time. Jordan is on the longest border of Israel on the East and the missiles are most likely to go through there. It is vital that Israel and the US intercept the drones and missiles over Jordan. Otherwise we can have a major disaster. Hopefully the US does have some agreement there. They also said that Israel can’t use their airspace to retaliate.
Note: Israeli F35s stealth fighters can fly over Jordan. No one can stop them if they insist.
Israel has its own version of the F35 that was upgraded in Israel with higher ability for long distance and improved electronics.
-The Biden’s Administration is using the crisis to pressure israel about the ceasefire hostage exchange deal. They think that such a deal could signal the Iranians that they can call off the attack. As I said before, the Administration are disconnected from reality, they keep pretending that the deal is there when Hamas is not willing to do any deal that will enable Israel to continue the war. They are not even willing to report how many Israelis they have and are alive. Israel will not end the war with Hamas ability to restore its power.
-USS Laboon, USS Cole ships are on the way to the Israel area. Theodore Roosevelt Carrier is also in the Middle East. The US Secretary of Defense is in close contact with his Israeli counterpart. The Israeli Defense Minister also talked with his counterparts in UK, Italy and is about to also talk with his German counterpart and maybe some Arab neighbor countries about detecting and intercepting the upcoming attack. Israel assigns this coalition a huge importance. I also saw images from the meeting of the US Central Command leadership with the IDF. A large table with ID on one side and US Military on the other side.
-On the other side the leader of Russian Military flew to Iran. I saw a report that he agreed to provide Iran with the SAM400 anti aircraft defense systems. Israel has been pressuring Russia for decades to avoid such action. This is their best Defense system. Iran already has the SAM300. In fact one of the main reasons that Israel was rather quiet about the Ukrainian/Russian war and didn’t provide weapons despite pressures is the attempt to prevent Russia from providing Iran with SAM400s. Also because Russia has presence in Syria and there is a coordinated agreement that they don’t mess with Israeli fighters which fly there a lot against Hezbollah forces in Syria and Iranian related forces.
If this report is true it could mean that Israel may provide tie breaking weapons to Ukraine like the Iron Dome and other significant technology. Bibi has a direct line to Putin and they know each other well. There is a good chance he can all him out of it. Russia has been very anti Israel in this war and hosted Palestinian terror leaders in their land. China also hosted terror groups not long ago. Note: I am hearing that the IDF does have a solution how to deal with the SAM400. So it’s not such a major disaster. But makes things more complicated to fly there.
Don’t worry about a World War. No one is going to fight for Iran. Not Russia and not China.
-Iranian Militia attack on a US base in Iraq. Two US soldiers killed. This is on Biden’s table as to how to deal with it. It was also discussed with Israel.
-CNN issues an article claiming that the Hamas Battalions that the IDF said are dismantled are actually well and operational. This caused an unusual response from the Speaker of the IDF who in polite terms called the report of the CNN a “fake news”. Completely debunked it.
Note: The one part that is not fake is that there is an area in central Gaza that is still standing because there is an estimation that many hostages are there and the IDF is trying to not kill the hostages. Naturally it was predictable that Hamas survivors will surround themselves with hostages specially as they are running out of places to hide.
-While all the talks are happening today the IDF assassinated two other Hamas key players. One is a Battalion Commander in Central Gaza who was very involved in 10/7. Another was the Economy Minister of Hamas who was involved in stealing the humanitarian aide.
-Also another Assassination of a Regional Commander of Hezbollah of their elite Raduan Force. He was hit from the air while riding a motorcycle. As I said before, Mossad is strong in Lebanon. In Gaza it is Shabak (spy agency) and Military Intelligence, not Mossad.
They are building a strong network now in Gaza and providing locations of Commanders and tunnels and hiding places. As a note many of the command centers that are trying to still fight are in Schools. By now the Gazans know that schools are not safe. The IDF is going after those terrorists even in schools and mosques. Also there seems to be a new policy. Any area which fires rockets into Israel (there are still sporadic incident) gets an evacuation order and the IDF flattens the zones completely.
-A report that Biden agreed to release shipments of 250kg and 500kg bombs. This is not confirmed yet but if so, we are talking about a couple of thousands bombs that we will need to deal with Hezbollah. This relates to the last trip of Bibi to the US. He may have succeeded in this pressure to let the munitions go.
-Iranian psychological war, they published a list of targets in Israel. Airports, Seaports, power plants, railway stations, military installations. If that happens then the IDF will go after their oil refineries, Seaports, Nuclear sites, airports, missile storages, drone sites, missile assembly lines, Presidential Palace. The difference is that Israel can for sure succeed in such attacks. Iran may succeed in one or couple isolated cases which will still hurt. I suspect they will leave the more sensitive installations for Hezbollah.
-My last comment here is that while the West is all about stopping this war from escalating, Israel actually do have a hidden motivation to escalate in a way that will finally enable it the legitimacy to attack the nuclear sites. This may just be the trigger to act.

At the start of the women’s artistic-gymnastics uneven-bars final, the 16-year-old gymnast Zhang Yihan of Team China fell during her performance. Unable to fully grasp the high bar during a tricky move, she dropped face-down toward the mats.
A coach, who had been standing close for just such a possibility, reached out quickly and was able to help slow her fall.
She recovered quickly and finished the routine. It’s been remarkable to see the care and support given by the coaches in these games, helping these athletes realize their potential on a world stage in so many ways.
Great photo, and a reminder to all that older big things can move fast and with force; coach has got some arms.
Have been ignoring the Olympics due to Satanic overtones, males in women’s sports, etc.

In 1860, the Milton Bradley Company came out with a board game called the Game of Life. A modern version was released in 1960 by Hasbro. In small plastic automobiles, players travel a roadway acquiring income, but they have expenses as well. New versions of the game are regularly released and now feature landing spaces that include being faced with lawsuits or acquiring pets.
The game has a strong element of chance, but also includes risk and reward.
Hasbro says, “From Start to Retirement, every Stop! space is a major life milestone where players spin for their fate or choose their path forward.” Players face many crossroads and decisions along the way.
Real life is not played like a game, but there are many crossroads faced and decisions to be made. The people of Jesus’ day were very familiar with walled cities and city gates.
An article in Mugwump published by students at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville says, “Christianity is not a both/and but an either/or proposition. Jesus leaves no room for a middle ground or for being what I would refer to as a ‘spiritual mugwump.‘” Each person reaches the crossroads, the time of decision, to go through the narrow gate or take the wide road.
Indecision can lead to following the world. Choose to follow Jesus who is the only Way. He is the narrow gate, and only those who enter by Him will be saved (John 10:9).
A poem by Robert Frost says, “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood… and I took the one less traveled by.”
King Solomon wrote in Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”
Psalm 1:6 reads, “The Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.” The verse that follows today’s verse states, “For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

1950s Family Reunion

Our 60s & 70s -almost annual reunions were wonderful!
And oh…the variety of jello molds were amazing.
I held the last one 22 years ago; with 78 (age 4 to 98) from 8 states.
Sadly, over 20 have since passed.
It was truly very special.
Went to many of mine just like that.
I count at least 8 pies and 7 cakes

I sure hope I can do this correctly. Indiana Department of Education is purposefully working to dumb down our students. Case in point – changing the graduation criterium to lower the bar to receive a high school diploma. (These kids are graduating illiterate now.)

Side note on Purdue…my vet’s alma mater…most of my dog friends go there for their advanced specialty care for their dogs and cats due to the ‘inefficiencies’ at U of I…So, stand tall with Purdue and the Boilermakers….
however, kids all across the country, are receiving substandard educations…just ask Chicago’s parents, and they, TPTB do not want the kids to go to college…they don’t want them learning how to think critically, critical thinkers are a danger to the many agendas out there and am only sticking my toe in the water….:
I read the Purdue letter while full of concern and very pertinent facts…I believe they missed the mark…however, I looked this up and found this:

Page one implies top 1% of elementary programs…so who is to blame? The teachers from Purdue or, or….Whoever makes the curricula for local schools?

I can’t say definitively that a college education inspires “critical thinkers” anymore. One of the criteria for high school graduation is forcing all kids to take FAFSA (government financial aide for collegiate education). They insist everyone take it… why?
One of the disclosures is the financial situation of the parents.
I am looking at this from several “vantage points” and I find the necessity of the FAFSA a violation and invasion of privacy. 1) Not every student builds debt in college. Some work odd jobs to graduate debt-free. 2) If a student has no desire to attend a college and opts for vocational school, why force FAFSA? 3) Some kids have no aspirations for college and bypass it. Why force FAFSA on them?
Considering that school loans are the only debt that can’t be folded into bankruptcy, does the government gain anything by indenturing so many students with college debt? Yes, recently old Joe decided he was going to “pay off student loans”… but in what case… ever… has anything come “free” from our government? How many people are running out and jacking up debt by garnering a college education thinking eventually the government is going to cover the bill? Freebies, freebies.
I posed such a question over the weekend to the former RepubliCON (RINO) Mayor of Indianapolis. I asked him, “why if Indiana schools are among the most ill-performing in the USA, why would Eli Lilly invest BILLIONS of dollars to build an R&D center here?” The answer was it is next to Purdue. But, if Hoosier kids are ill-equipped and unable to get into Purdue… as many of them are… was the reason… cheap land????
Cheap land. They are building a CRAPTASTIC amount of “semi-luxury cracker box” apartments – going for a minimum $1500/month for a measly 1 BR / 1 BA with no garage or carport. Whose going to live in them? Intellectually challenged Hoosiers who can’t score high enough on the SAT and can, in no way, afford an apartment that expensive? Kids with high school diplomas who are illiterate?
They are emptying our colleges of our American children and replacing them with foreigners. They are filling our colleges with, and churning out, raging liberal lunatics. Higher education has turned into a haven for marxism and anti-American sentiment. Now, there could be a few colleges that take exception to this, but are they the majority?
Yes… this systematic dismantling of our education is widespread. I just so happened to receive the information detailing the high school diploma changes for Indiana… so we all can compare notes, or witness patterns.
I prayed tonight to our God… for Him to come quickly. I prayed, too, that He take these people down. Hard.

In the realm of learning something every day, while reviewing some wartime history I came across something that I had heard plenty as a young person in the 50’s and 60’s but didn’t really know what it meant. Adults would tell me, apparently to encourage proper behavior, to ‘watch your P’s and Q’s‘
I still have my mom’s wartime ration books and never made the connection that P’s were ration ‘points’ and Q’s were ‘quantities’ of food or ingredients. TBH, I’d never asked what it meant; just the stern look was enough to indicate I’d made an error in behavior.
