The Constitution also declares there will be natural born citizens.

Being from Seattle, and having watched Steve Largent from the beginning of the Seahawks franchise, we had SUCH high hopes for him going into Congress…and initially, he pushed back, but as time went on, he seemed to change and by the time he left, he had become a high paid lobbyist for the burgeoning cell phone industry, and I haven’t heard a word out of him for years. (His youngest son was slapped with a really questionable “sex against minors” charge – he evidently sent some text messages to a girl he thought was 18 who was only 15 or something – and I always wondered if that was a warning shot to Largent to just shut up and go away quietly?)

I think now its very hard for patriots to get past the vetting process they use to weed them out. Well maybe …. but Vance was an atheist in college and in youth, never even baptized until adulthood… so he began with a clean slate and he investigated several Christian denominations/churches… and other religions too.
Vance was seeking the Truth- to find God and develop a genuine relationship with Our Lord.
Ultimately, Vance joined the Catholic Church… which takes time. You must go through the fairly rigorous RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation) program… so that you fully understand and accept the Faith you are intending to join.
Vance is an intellectual… and he was genuinely seeking the Truth- the fullness of Truth about God, salvation, how God instructs us to live our lives. That’s what he was seeking and that’s commendable.
If one is truly seeking the fullness of Truth, the Catholic Faith will be the final destination b/c there is … nothing… nothing … that any human could think to ask about the Christian faith that is not answered, irrefutably, in volumes by the Catholic Church, over these past 2000+ years of Christian history. The deposit of the Faith — Catholic theology is overwhelming and extremely detailed and intellectual. Nothing is unanswered.
So what that tells me about Vance is that he is a serious Christian and desired the Fullness of Truth that God has revealed to humanity- all of it. To me, that’s a very good sign re: Vance’s character and integrity. His desire is to live a faithful and genuine Christian life. The Truth matters to Vance.

But years ago I questioned my Catholic faith. I realized I am a Catholic because I was born and raised a Catholic; so I went through a period when I frequented other Christian churches/denominations…
I studied both Protestant and Catholic theology. I wanted the Truth not merely to be Catholic b/c I was born Catholic.
Many Protestants are like that too. Born Baptist; remain Baptist, etc. It’s what you know and are comfortable with so it’s difficult to question what you were trained to believe all your life. We should do it though.
Anyway… my study and experiences led me back to the Catholic faith…. and then I knew WHY I was/am a Catholic.
The RCC really does have all the answers — all Truth that God has deigned to reveal to mankind. That Truth is brilliantly and divinely explained in extraordinary and irrefutable detail – biblically and through the oral traditions of the Church.
Why Oral Tradition? Because that WAS God’s intent for His church.
There was no codified Bible/New Testament until 397 AD, almost 400 years after Christ’s Resurrection. That’s 2x as long as the US has existed.
Even after the Printing press was invented, most Christians worldwide could not read… and most did not own, could not afford to buy a Bible.
Before the invention of the printing press, it took 1 monk his entire life to reproduce 1.5 Bibles. Those Bibles went to the various churches to be read and taught to the faithful during Mass.
God chose NOT to give us a book (NT) first. He gave us the teaching authority of His Church first. That was God’s decision.
And, the New Testament IS the product of the Roman Catholic Church. She determined which of the many possible “scriptures” would be declared the infallible Word of God – the NT Canon- those writings that deserved inclusion in the Holy Bible. The RCC also decided which ancient writings (eg gnostic gospels, etc) would be rejected and why.
This occurred at a Council of the RCC in which the Bishops of the World met to decide, in agreement, speaking as one voice in Communion with the pope, the successor of Peter.
The 1st Council of the Church was the Council of Jerusalem, recorded in the NT. That process would continue for the next 2000 years… and counting.
There were other ancient writings the RCC did not include in the New Testament, ie, the Didache. They are valid and true… and still used today to understand the Christian faith based on how the early Christians understood it and what they did and why. It and others were just not deemed worthy of inclusion in the Bible.
The magnificent stained glass in most Catholic Churches throughout the world were designed to teach illiterate Christians the faith.
Probably not until the 18th-19th century did most/many Christians even own a Bible… and could READ the Bible themselves.
For most of Christian history, Christians throughout the world were illiterate. Thats not an insignificant matter. It was clearly God’s Will. And, that was true in Judaism too. Jews were taught the Jewish faith by those with the authority to teach and preach.

It was a crap-TON of stuff, and hopefully Team Trump is able to connect with the local charities to allow them to pick the stuff up to either distribute it to those in need and/or sell it for some $’s for themselves.

About Pres Trump’s negative comments in GA about the 3 GOP constitutional officers last night: they’ve got it coming. After the past 3 years, I’m sick of the false lying media / leftwing/ Dems narrative regarding the illegally secretly recorded phone call between President Trump and GA SOS Raffensperger. I was on the call, which is now part of every leftwing media article about me since that day.
Fact: Trump’s legal team filed an election contest on Dec 4 2020. Supposed to be expedited but Chief Judge of Fulton County failed (refused?) to assign an eligible judge. So Pres Trump never got his day in Court. All the media focuses on is Pres Trump’s statement “we just have to find 12,000 votes”. The problem with that narrative is the Trump team had ALREADY found them – many many more than 12,000 votes that were included in the certified total – votes that were ILLEGAL under GA law. And shouldn’t have been counted. More than the margin between Pres Trump and Biden.

Pres. Trump was the best president we’ve ever had. Harris is the VP of the worst president we’ve ever had, and she’s even more to the left that Biden is. So of course I’ll vote for Pres. Trump.
The most important part of a US president’s job is to make the right decisions. What do we do about the economy, immigration, China, etc.? Who cares about the gender or skin color of the person making these decisions?
Well, a lot of democrats care about gender and skin color. That’s why the “Is Harris black?” question is so important to them. And Pres. Trump is wisely talking about Harris’ race – not because her race is important to him, but because some democrats might be less inclined to vote for her, if she’s not 100% black.
Also, everyone (including immigrants from India to the US) knows that Harris is downplaying the fact that her mother came from India. Since Harris is downplaying her being 50% Indian, I’m guessing that the US voters who are from India aren’t so crazy about her.
It isn’t so much whether or not Heels 👠 up is black or not, it is her appropriation of the race for her political gain. What Harris is doing is akin to “black face”. She is being completely dishonest and disrespectful. The democrats have that race so well heeled to them that the black race will not say enough and stand up for themselves.
The essence of the Harris campaign is identity. She is not running on achievement, a record of good judgement, leadership potential, or policy. She truly is, and always has been, a DEI candidate. Joe Biden ran on a promise to pick a VP based on identity / DEI criteria. We are simply not permitted to comment on it.
