What a joke. The biggest welfare queen of them all wants to patrol government efficiency?
Musk fired 90% of the Twitter workforce after he took ownership and everything runs as good if not better now. That would be a good first step to improving government efficiency.

The federal govt. is also bloated with unnecessary people and depts and projects that the federal govt. has no business being involved in. Wasteful spending is rampant and has been for decades but it’s at its worst right now it seems. Get rid of half of the govt. build up and we might be able to actually start paying down our debt without continuing to bankrupt the whole country.
The way to pare down bloated GOV spending is to eliminate the Income Tax: stop being FORCED to feed the beast.
And stop taxing tips, social security and PENSIONS.

I highly doubt anyone here trusts any of the tech big guys or anyone in govt. or the media. I mean anyone, including the so called conservatives in those groups. However, we cannot keep blowing up everyone all the time who might just add in some seriously positive support for MAGA and P Trump at certain times.

I like that idea; if not Musk being on that committee, it’s still a great idea, one that can be used to whittle down the size of the bureaucracy and Elon Musk certainly isn’t afraid to fire people.

This is an intriguing idea. It needs the smell test. Who loves it? Who hates it?
He must be close to the largest government contractor (excluding: Lockheed, Boing, Raytheon, Iran, Ukraine, EU, Deep State). That just shows he believes in capitalism and is rather good at it. Being a government contractor is not a hand out from the government (like forgiven tuition).
Efficiency is a noble goal, especially in government. Think about how many approvals are necessary to build a highway, or a Nuclear Power Station, or open a mine, or pump oil. Or bake a wedding cake.
Initially it seems like a path to smaller government. That can’t be all bad. Is Musk the person to take the deflected ire from Trump?

I hope notables who post will come to realize this is completely false. After the “war,” aka the election of President Trump on 11/5/2024, President Trump’s 2025 Executive Branch Constitutional do-over will not follow the traditional transition-process and should be completed within the first 100 days.
During his rallies over the past 4 years, President Trump has communicated the type of do-over that will be required to return the Executive Branch to “the people.” He uses the Dept. of Education as an example.
Don’t underestimate the magnitude of disruption he has in store for the Executive Branch of the federal government. He repeated at yesterday’s Atlanta rally that the globalists / communists in the federal government skipped over socialism and went straight to communism. He said that to emphasize the critical nature of the battle we are in and the changes that will be required to the government to get it back into compliance with America’s Constitutional Republic’s Constitution.
The traditional transition-process swaps out members of the old administration occupying the current offices in the Executive Branch with members from the new administration.
For many, many decades, the existing structure of the prior Executive Branch would be maintained except that the executives in the executive offices would be switched out to the new party, aka changing the name plates on the doors.
Oh, there would be some lower positions swapped too, but for the most part, the occupants of the lower positions would remain the same from administration to administration. They bragged and called that “continuity-of -government”, but in reality, it was the “continuity of the globalists / communist overriding the will of the people”. Voters would think they were voting in change, but they found out that things remained the same, no matter what party won the election.
President Trump’s approach is to go to the heart of the problem. All unconstitutional, weaponized federal government personnel and operations located in and funded by elements in the Executive Branch will end, unceremoniously. Based on his oath, he can’t propagate unconstitutional actions in the Executive Branch and he doesn’t have to ask permission from any stinkin’ congressman, senator or jurist. He is The Executive Branch, lock / stock & barrel.
Therefore, the staffing within the 2025 Executive Branch will be drastically and quickly reduced. This goes for outside contractors as well. Most of what they have been doing has been tracking and monitoring MAGA / America First member’s activities……….that can immediately be stopped. As such, the following 2 groups of employees will be persona-non-grata, on day 1.
[1] RINOs / carry-over democrats / foreigners / and Americans with dual-citizenships.
[2] All the legislative, judicial, lobbyist and foreign moles, buried for decades, deep within the Executive Branch, will be gone when the unconstitutional, administrative-state in the Executive Branch has been removed, leaving only the constitutionally justified staff positions and functions manned with loyal, MAGA / America First American patriots.
In his rallies, President Trump has explained what the scaled-down 2025 Department of Education will look like and he has indicated that the weaponized complex of intelligence agency suites in the Executive Branch will be brought into Constitutional law-and-order compliance……. much of their manning and operations that they have been involved in relates to domestic targets in direct violation of the Constitution.
Project 2025 is a RINO ploy to try to infiltrate President Trump’s administration —— he quickly said they were not part of his plans…and never were.
Developing “fantasy-executive branch” tools, based on the current, traditional, dc federal government organization chart, may not be the best use of time.

Those answers don’t matter. Chutkin isn’t remotely interested in applying any law. This should be ended on the illegal appointment of Smith and she absolutely knows that. Proceed from there.
I am not a lawyer but Chutkin gets to decide if Trump did something not protected by Presidential immunity regarding J6.She will try to make something stick but Trump will appeal her decision, I believe.
Two of the charges against Trump have to be dropped because of the Fisher decision. The Supreme Court ruled J6er’s were being charged wrongfully with a law meant to cover destruction of evidence in the Enron case.
Some J6 prisoners wrongfully convicted , should be released from prison, but nothing is happening so far that I know.
Also, Judge Cannon in Florida ruled Jack Smith was illegally appointed by Garland. Smith is just a private citizen, not a prosecutor confirmed by the Senate, which brings up the validity of all the charges against Trump.
Smith has no standing to prosecute a President.
Trump will appeal whatever Chutkin decides to do , and this should all be pushed past the election.
In the meantime, it is all a smear meant to hurt Trump.
Hmmm,…if Smiths appointment ultimately stands, use that as a precedent in his next term.
Forget all about Senate Confirmation for Cabinet appointments, just name “private citisens” (NOT swamp creatures!) give them a Title, and tell the dept. employees “do what he/she says, or your fired!
Judge Chutkan is not moving forward despite the SCOTUS decision. The case was remanded to her to conduct an analysis of the official, as opposed to the un-official conduct. Think of it as a homework assignment. SCOTUS stated that her initial analysis of the immunity issue was done “on a highly expedited basis” and is deficient. Sha has been directed to sort through all the allegations to come up with a revised assessment using the guidlines set forth by SCOTUS as to whether any charges may survive immunity. The guidelines include that Trump’s motive is not to be considerd.
The SCOTUS decision clearly indicates that it will review the results or check her work before any trial. It will undoubtedly, also examine the issue of whether the appointment of Jack Smith was un-constitutional. The Constitution limits appointment power. For instance U.S. Attorneys must be approved by the Senate. Garland appointed Jack Smith to have the same power to investigate, indict, and prosecute yet Smith was not confirmed by the senate.
The Constitution states that only Congress can delegate such appointment authority and that it may only do so “by law” which means a statute. There is no special counsel statute as it expired in 1999. The Jack Smith appointment is invalid unless there is a statute which is specific. It cannot be inserted by an expansive interpretation. IF such a statute existed it would have been quoted extensively by Garland, Smith, and the MSM.
It should also be understood that if Jack Smith’s appointment was un-constitutional, the prosecutions must be dismissed with prejudice. The cases (D.C. insurrection and FL classified docs) cannot be handed off to or resurrected by a U.S. Attorney. This is similar to the “fruit of the poisonous tree” rule of evidence.
Chutkan knows this but will use her office to support the greater J6 insurrection claim to the bitter end.

I took my children to the Arizona Natural History Museum when they were 8 and 11 years old. They were having a quarterly special exhibition of the Native American children being forced from their homes and into (white) boarding schools, among many other things. It was an extremely detailed and thought provoking exhibition. I’m not going to lie, both of my children are extremely intelligent. They came away with far more questions than I had answers for. We bought a lot of books for them to take back and share with their teachers.
They learned far more in that six hours about the Native American experience than they could have ever learned in our small town TN public school, which at the time was excellent. I will never forget when one of them came home from school crying. When I asked what was wrong they simply said, “The Trail of Tears”.
I guess my point is, do they even teach that in public schools these days? And if they do, do they preface it with “white man” bad.

I’ve described this technique to my audience over the years. I learned it when training to be a hypnotist. And I’ve used it successfully a number of times. It’s a powerful tool.
The method involves ACCEPTING the illusion you are trying to defeat and showing its absurdity by taking it to its obvious conclusion.
Trump ACCEPTED the Democrat worldview that identity is the key variable, then casually discussed the incongruity of Harris in terms of her identity. And he did it in front of an audience organized by their identity.
This particular persuasion will continue to sink in, to marinate, and to get more powerful over time.
The losing play in this situation would have been to argue against using identity to choose candidates. That would be a non-starter. Instead, he “entered their illusion” and left a huge turd in the middle of their living room.
It was one of the best persuasion plays in political history. But it will take some time to see it do its magic.

I’m done with Democrats. I’ll follow up with a more detailed email listing all of the outrageous crap Trump and his supporters have had to put up with since he announced his candidacy in mid-2015. (Actually, I’m going to start with Obamacare which caused me a lot of problems regarding jobs.)
I was trying to come up with an analogy to our situation. IMO it’s similar to the sane German citizens (that’s us) vs the idiots who supported the Nazis and their fascist regime. The idiots willfully voted for the party that caused much misery and ultimately ruined their own country. They might have felt like everything was great in the early part of the fascist reign, but it certainly didn’t end well for them.

I understand how you’re feeling, but also have an observation:
Finding ways to divide us (the “citizenry”) into various “factions” that “hate” each other is a primary modus operandi of the regimes.
If you are going to this extent (cutting them off due to events controlled by others), it may indicate that you have “fallen for” their B.S. They WANT you (and me; and us) to hate each other; and that’s basically what you are describing here – a successful attempt on their part to influence hate and anger within you against “Democrat family members”.
Some self-reflection may show that you are vulnerable to their techniques of division.
It’s just an observation – and maybe (probably?) you disagree – and that’s fine. I’m just putting it out there.
Hopefully you can recognize of it’s the case (that you are vulnerable to their techniques); and react accordingly.

I have had someone in my own family trying to screen for pro-Trump sentiments in someone else in my family, and that is not the tipping point but it is one of the reasons that led to me just cutting her off.
I don’t tell my friends and family who they must support politically, but when they come at me with bs like Trump mocked a disabled person as if I am either too stupid to know what he did or I would support someone as awful as they tell me he is, that does it for me.

The difference, I think, between the situation you’ve described vs. the situation in the OP is that you “cut off” someone due to their direct actions against you – while the OP is describing “indirect” things as the reason for the “cut off”.
In your case it was due to how they “come at you”; while the OP is “cutting off” due to outside events (“if Kamala “wins” the election OR if Trump wins and the Democrats riot, they can expect to not see or hear from me again“) that are not in the “cut off” parties direct control.
For me – there is a big difference there – and it’s that “indirect” rationale that got my attention.

I did suffer both direct and indirect attacks from them. For years.
As for my ultimatum, I realize they have little control of it. But I’m just letting them know I’m implementing a zero-tolerance policy now. After nearly 9 years of abuse. I cut off my Democrat “friends” years ago. I did not want to cut off my family. But they and all of the rest of the people who vote like them are the reason our country is going downhill. Biden was bad enough, Kamala will be much worse. I’m going to force them to own it.

That’s correct. I suffered a lot of direct and indirect insults since late 2015. They acted with impunity, like a mob. That’s what Democrats do. Even worse, they made assumptions about me merely because I support Trump, things that weren’t correct.

Likewise. Until now. Now I have made it clear I consider their voting to be damaging to me and to the country and I can no longer tolerate it.

Hence, the way to overthrow a turanny is NOT by force of arms (the American Revolution being the rare exception) it is thru UNITY, witness Solidarity (Velvet Revolution) and its predescessir the Singing Revolution, which defeated the Soviets without force of arms, because they had UNITY.
WHO among us can say they always knew what we all know, now? If you were decieved by the RINOS, and cheered Bush with his megaphone, or voted for Romney/Ryan, than how do you judge harshly those who are decieved?
Events and the passage of time caused our movement to grow, and that inexhorable process can not be stopped; eventually we WILL achieve Unity, a moment like the fabled “Singularity” and “the World, will be as ONE!”
I agree. A couple of my most loyal friends are liberal. I am NOT cutting them off over a disagreement in politics.
