Snopes says “The name of the store from at the receipt was purportedly generated isn’t clear in the image, but just below it is a phone number that belongs to a Detroit outlet called “Liquor Castle.” Food stamps are not accepted for liquor purchases in Michigan.” But the receipt in the Snopes article shows non-liquor purchases, and I can see from various google searches of Michigan liquor stores that they DO accept SNAP/EBT. So that Snopes argument is a fail.
Snopes also says “the balance listed is not only implausibly excessive but is impossible to accrue. Based on Michigan’s maximum payout for a family of eight on SNAP, a balance of the size shown ($15,464) would take more than 13 months to accumulate provided that the family did not use any of their benefits during that period. But according to the state, food and cash benefits that remain unused for a year are returned to the government” But that relies on the people overseeing the SNAP program actually be doing their jobs properly. If the voter rolls still have dead people on them what confidence can we have that the people overseeing SNAP are taking back unused $$$ ?
When the Detroit public school system went into bankruptcy, about 20 years ago, the guy in charge of the audit made all employees come down to the main office to pick up their payroll check. Almost 500 employees never showed up, to receive their check, and the average salary was close to 50 grand a piece.

EBT may not cover Tequila but it does cover Jose Cuervo margarita mix. The fact that it covers $4.39 for Red Bull just pi$$es me off. My kids and I were at a store once and they wanted some cookies that were $5.99 for 12. I told them no because they were too expensive. Next thing I know some chick in front of me bought those same cookies plus a lot of other junk then whipped out her EBT card. It was a great learning lesson for me to teach my kids not to vote Democrat.

Much as I don’t care for snopes I suspect that “receipt” is a fake. I highly doubt a simple receipt form a store will show the EBT card or cash balance. As far s I am aware ebt cards work like debit cards. If grocery store receipts show the balances on ebt cards why would they not do so when a normal person uses their debit/credit card to make purchases.

That is not convincing to me. The tapping sounds don’t sound like gunfire to me, nor apparently to anyone else at the event. And the thing travelling in front of Trump looks like an insect, it has a slightly curved path. They were outside, in the summer, there are insects.

While it’s unlikely in the extreme those people will cross the Rubicon and vote for Donald Trump, they may well decide to either abstain or vote for some third-party candidate, which is essentially the same thing; no matter what, Kamala Harris loses votes.
Note that the Constitution specifically prohibits a religious test for public office. Note also that Josh Shapiro would, by almost every measure, be a pretty good choice. In fact, if we may be perfectly honest, he would make a better president than Kamala Harris; but then, one can look at the displays in any taxidermy shop and find exhibits that would make better presidents than Kamala Harris.

Tim Walz to be chosen for a reason. He is a much weaker figure in a state that just doesn’t matter that much. Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly has been the third name on the list, and he’s simply not near the political talent that Shapiro has on the campaign trail. Arizona is also more firmly in the Trump column at this point.
This race is now wide open, and Republicans can’t take anything for granted. Trump can’t miss layups when they are available, and the RNC better have the ground game to end all ground games. The stakes are too high to not contest this race in every way possible. Shapiro makes things tougher, but he’s only a deciding factor if Republicans allow him to be.
