ORWELLIAN: Biden Would Destroy Democracy in Order to ‘Save’ It
President Joe Biden gave a 10-minute speech Wednesday night attempting to provide a post hoc rationale for his decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. He did not mention pressure from former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. He did not mention his age or his horrific debate performance last month. He did, however, insist that he was trying to “save democracy.”
This rationale is quite peculiar. In order to “save democracy,” Biden would disenfranchise 14.3 million Democratic primary voters. These voters chose him to represent their party after Democratic elites systematically prevented more viable candidates from entering the 2024 race.
Rather than allow a small-d democratic process to select their nominee, Democrats shielded Biden, helping the White House and the legacy media in their efforts to dismiss serious concerns about the president’s age and mental acuity. Meanwhile, the Republicans had a bruising primary that now has resulted in a party fully united behind former President Donald Trump.
Yet preventing a real primary was not the only thing Democrats did to undermine democracy—ironically, in the name of saving it. Many appeared to hope that attacks on Trump in the legal system would prevent the American people from having a real say in who governs them this election.

Most recently, a scorecard ranking Harris as the “most liberal” senator during her time in that chamber has disappeared entirely from the internet.
The webpage, belonging to congressional tracking site GovTrack, was live as late as June. An archived version of the post shows exactly what was thrown into the memory hole.
“These year-end statistics cover [Harris’] record during the 2019 legislative year (Jan 3, 2019-Dec 31, 2019) and compare her to other senators serving at the end of that period,” an archived version of the post reads, adding it was last updated in 2020.
Compared to all senators, GovTrack ranked her as the “most politically left”.
Her track record only gets worse from there.

WASHINGTON (TND) — Government transparency site GovTrack removed a 2019 page naming Vice President Kamala Harris as that year’s “most liberal” senator, site operators told The National Desk (TND) Thursday.
The now-deleted page compiled data from Harris’s time in the Senate and assigned a ranking relative to other senators. GovTrack found Harris was the least likely to cosign on bipartisan legislation, held the fewest committee positions and was the third most absent senator, missing 61.9% of votes.
“Our unique ideology analysis assigns a score to Members of Congress according to their legislative behavior by how similar the pattern of bills and resolutions they cosponsor are to other Members of Congress,” GovTrack wrote beneath its ranking of Harris as the “most liberal compared to all senators.”

I was talking with my sister about the shooting . She is a liberal or a somewhat disinterested citizen when it comes to politics. She thinks life is full of coincidences, including the way Trump turned his head and avoided taking a bullet.
The idea that if Trump had been killed (awful) and Biden removed a week or two later, our whole political landscape and Presidential candidates would be “appointees” of the deep state on both the Republican and Democrat side, did not occur to her or make much difference either.
So, I guess it is for people like her that the whole charade continues. As long as they can fool people into thinking we have choice and freedom the mask stays on.

There was bodycam footage posted on CTH just after Wray testified there were 8 shells.
In this early bodycam the officer counts 5, and no one there ever says “ here are more”
I see what you mean early on in the video. Apparently five was the number of casings on the slope that the body was on. The person who asked for the count seemed to be standing on the other slope.

Two-thirds of voters think Kamala Harris lied about Biden’s health, new poll shows

The poll showed Trump securing 48 percent of the popular vote if he were to run against Harris, who received 40 percent, while eight percent said they would back other candidates.
A further breakdown of the results which included independent and third party candidates found 45 percent of voters would back Trump in an election, while 37 percent would support Harris. Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. scored 10 percent of the votes, while Independent Cornel West and Green Party candidate Jill Stein each secured two percent.

Many of the monuments torn down were on the National Register of Historic Places. It was, literally, against the law to tear them down for no good reason.
