When I was sick…there were 4 days that I thought I was gonna die…almost went to the ER but thought better of it.
I had pneumonia back in the spring…it lasted 3 months, started with the flu…the flu I was mandated to get a flu shot for…and I went to work, in a hospital, ICU, loaded up with Dayquil, motrin, vitamin D, zince, zithro and prednisone…..or I did not eat. I am old, too.
“Joe, get your a$$ back to work”. HR, “We the People”, says your request for sick time is “denied”.
I never understood the warped logic by the Hospital I worked in that they want nurses to come to work sick –we were given unexcused absence and docked pay unless we had a doctors excuse and it was for more than 2 days.
I was counseled for unexcused absences when I missed 4 days in one week.
When I left work at the end of my shift in Labor & Delivery, coworkers insisted that I wake up the resident and get his opinion. I was looking worse and worse.
After listening to my lungs, he said I likely had pneumonia and should go to the ER. Couldn’t do it. Had to pick up my child and go home. He gave me a script for erythromycin and repeated “ER”.
I toughed it out at home even through some arrhythmias. I was not capable of going downstairs to meet an ambulance if I called one.
Even with those four shifts, I had under ten absences in the nine years I had been working at that hospital at that point.
Nurses who work in hospitals and are constantly exposed to pathogens are expected to never get sick –it was one of biggest dissatisfiers of the job. That and how cut throat other nurses were when it came to vacations and time off.
Well at least Covid won’t kill him or send him to the hospital!/s Total bullshit stat from Big Pharma and our globalist healthcare providers!!! I don’t believe Joe Biden can “ponder” any more such is his dementia! JMO
Actually Covid was pretty hard on the elderly and the immuno-compromised, and with Biden’s Parkinson’s and whatever else he has going on he’s probably extremely vulnerable; this may be the left’s method of exiting the dilemma they’ve created for themselves.
It was hard on the elder because they weren’t allowed to get early treatment, denied access to HCQ and Ivermectin both Covid cures! The late Dr Zelenko had great success with early treatment using HCQ and later Ivermectin and he was demonized by the medical community! The elderly were told to go home and rest and if they got worse go to the hospital where they were killed by a ventilator and Remdisivir! The hospitals made more money if the patient died of Covid than if they lived. That was Biden’s sweetheart deal with big hospital systems!
COVID wasnt a thing. It was bullshit. The coronavirus didnt kill any more than the seasonal flu. Hospitals did.

I just watched (via Real Clear Politics site) a short clip of lesbian R. Maddow (MSNBC) go after J.D. Vance and President Trump over “abortion” for about 4 minutes.
Her slant of presentation was extremely obvious, limited and lacking any sense of critical thinking, especially when one considers the real dynamics of returning this issue back to the States for resolution. For decades we have heard politicians belabor the lack of citizens’ participation in the voting process; trying all kinds of tricks instead to win office (think voting at all times of the year and especially mail-in voting). Biden even comes out saying the younger voters don’t even begin to focus on a presidential election until after Labor day.
The deep state politicians (along with the wanna bees at the local levels…right up to dog catcher!) know how to play these voting games, they have had years to finesse their pitches and justify their wanderings of doing nothing on major issues.
Yet, look at Maddow, a proud lesbian who looks directly into the camera, seething while she talks about abortion: She visually comes across as a hard person, a bull dike stereotype I think (check out the look Ellen DeGenerous presents), a male with breasts, sans makeup etc. who has no intention of ever becoming pregnant!
