I saw her talking about it on War Room earlier today.
The previous administration prepaid their hires to be there for the first quarter into DJT’s term. She couldn’t fire them, per se, but funding for Monica’s term wasn’t available until after that first quarter. She declined.
The DS basically tanked her at that position but she was able to come back in a different capacity for Donald Trump.
