I listened to him on Maria Bartiromo’s show this weekend. His voice is softer than ever.
Saw him a few weeks ago. He was fine. He has slowed a little bite with age, but he has a good story. Told us that the age a child brain matures is 25, why are we letting them make gender decisions at 13?
As a teacher, lowering your voice so it has to get quiet before “the audience” can hear you is very effective. Screaming is ineffective unless you are in a theater and it catches fire. In that instance I advocate hollering.
I have watched Dr. Carson in debates, interviews, etc. He does not waver, nor cower. He even went on The View to debate the jackals.
In addition, he is very knowledgeable about history. His opinions are nuanced, analytical, and to the point.
Soft spoken is not synonymous with “wimp.”

Believe that Vance has awakened. He earned PDJT’s unequivical endorsement during his senate run. (And yes, I fully grasp that those endorsements do not always provide confidence – for me or others.)

Observation of the Ohio Senate race in which Vance triumphed brought me to the opinion that he had learned and reconsidered. It also seemed that the victory was not seen coming until too late for the adversaries to see how to defeat him. They thought they had this one, and then, oops. in came the Club For Growth at the end with mucho money to seek his defeat – and failed.
Lean toward Carson for VP, but we also have to recognize that every ally is not there from the first moment.
I have no issues with Mr.Carson as VP.
BUT I think it’s a better decision to get a younger person that we can elect for two terms following our Trump win.
It’s very clear that we need a long run of nuts and sanity to clean up this disaster.

Dr Carlson will not be pushed around. As far as his quiet demeanor, personally known of a few expert witnesses that intentionally lowered their voice and slowed their delivery when being questioned under oath. It forces juries to focus more on what they’re saying by requiring them to pay closer attention and remember their testimony over others. The slower delivery helps disrupt opposing council rapid fire questioning.
Quiet demeanor and slower delivery also puts people asleep. Carson is a fine man and in any other time a great VP pick. In these times we need more.
I think the choice will not be anyone on most of the lists.

The New York Times has revealed multiple atrocities allegedly committed by international fighters against Russian POWs
Russia’s Investigative Committee has said it will probe war crimes allegedly committed by a mercenary unit fighting for Ukraine. The statement comes after the New York Times (NYT) claimed the so-called Chosen Company, led by a former US Army National Guard soldier, has committed multiple war crimes and executed Russian prisoners of war.
In one reported incident described by the NYT on Saturday, members of the so-called Chosen Company murdered a seriously injured Russian serviceman who was allegedly surrendering and pleading for help.
Commenting on the NYT report, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted that US media previously chose to ignore multiple reports of human rights violations submitted by the Russian Foreign Ministry, which had also been circulated in the UN Security Council.
Last year, Moscow launched an investigation into alleged war crimes committed by French mercenaries, after a photo surfaced showing three Russian POWs shot at point-blank range.
According to the Investigative Committee, more than 3,100 foreign mercenaries are currently fighting in Ukraine, most of them US, Canadian and British citizens. How much more proof do you want? 190 countries signed on to the Geneva Conventions and it is their enforcement that led to the executions of many and various war criminals. The Save Act is now being argued in the House. The purpose is to protect our federal elections from noncitizens voting. Of course it’s already federal law that only citizens can vote in federal elections, but nobody seems to care about.

If it is defeated will then the proponents of illegals being registered and allowed to vote may then claim-That this now confirms that with the failure of the Save Act by a bipartisan vote shows a mandate for immigrants to vote in all our elections by the American people.

In every stump speech Trump needs to talk directly with all non citizens and tell them that voting or registering is illegal and if caught, grounds for deportation, benefits loss, and never allow them to become citizens. Scare them into not cooperating with democrats who may not be around much longer to protect them.
The Republican Governors’ Association should make this declaration, in conjunction with the R Attorney Generals, and a strong Declaration that criminal prosecution will follow illegal voting. This needs to be much more public BEFORE the election.

Far too few people understand the purpose and importance of a party platform, and the political hacks controlling both wings of the Uniparty WANT it that way.
A platform is NOT supposed to be some kind of pie in the sky aspirational “mission statement” full of bland, generalised concepts.
It is supposed to lay out in specific terms, with each plank, the public policy initiatives that those who join the party are united in working to see enacted into law.

In what could come close to a record-setting weekend of Chicago violence, 109 people were shot over the extended holidays since July 4th, local media reports.
“One hundred and nine people have been shot, 19 fatally, in gun violence across Chicago since Wednesday during the extended Fourth of July holiday weekend, police said,” ABC7 Chicago writes. The casualty count rose throughout the day as more police and hospital data was tallied, and came across news desks.
Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling and Mayor Brandon Johnson condemned the uptick in violent crime. “We have to really stop and think about the mindset of someone who will shoot a child, a helpless child an unarmed mother and think that that’s okay. And go about their days,” Snelling said. “Those people have to be taken off the street. They have to be put away if we’re not doing that. Then we’re failing other families.”
The victims were teens as well as men ranging in age from 16 to 36 years old, police data indicates. The demographic strongly points to most of these being gang-related shootings.
By comparison, there were 33 people total that died from violent crime across the entire nation, thus deaths in Chicago alone made up the bulk.
July 4th and the weekend closest to it tends to be the single deadliest holiday on the calendar year in Chicago, according to past data. This year’s Chicago violence is far and above that of last year’s.
The 2023 extended holiday weekend went from Friday night to Tuesday, during which time 57 people were shot and eight were killed.
“When we look at what happened this weekend, we always like to say that it’s a police issue,” Snelling continued during a press conference. “This is a societal issue. The police cannot be in everybody’s backyard. They cannot be in everyone’s home. They cannot invade every single gathering where there’s a possibility that someone may show up with a gun.”
