Jury fines BlueCross for firing worker over COVID-19 vaccine mandate

It would be nice to make the guilty party have to pay a price, but alas, it fines a company! Name the parties involved in the decision so it don’t happen again! Who is the CEO?
Everybody who was “fired” for refusing an experimental vaccine has ‘standing’ to sue their employer. The problem is that too many workers prematurely surrendered and technically quit their jobs. They either walked off (job abandonment) or else they signed ‘voluntary’ separation agreements instead of waiting until they were notified -in writing- of their involuntary termination.
In the face of intense peer pressure from all areas of their lives, ie.. mainstream media, social media, families, friends and employers.. the vast majority simply couldn’t take the pressure and gave in to mental exhaustion.
However, every single person I know who filed exemptions *and* stood their ground in the face of an initial denial, ultimately had their exemptions approved. Every single exemption was ultimately approved.
Even coercion is a sticky wicket to prove. I noticed that my children’s colleges were careful not to put threats in writing. Instead they made rounds of harassing phone calls to coerce the students into compliance by a certain deadline.
Again, mine stood their ground right up to the deadline and beyond, and the school backed off. I also know teachers, LEOs and even a healthcare worker who filed a religious exemption, who all kept their jobs because they refused to blink first.
It’s hard for people who quit prematurely to admit their error. Their surrender made it easier for the bullies and the karens to legally prevail.
I’m curious if the same held true in the military.
I’m not sure. Historically, the military and healthcare workers have been required to take certain vaccines. But they seem to be the rare exception.
2021 was an experimental vaccine that didn’t prevent transmission. So this one may have been applied differently, even for these workers.
I know a healthcare worker who continued seeing patients outside of the hospital setting. Their religious exemption was approved after a NYS judge intervened in a class action lawsuit filed by healthcare workers.
No one in Washington State who filed for, and received a religious exemption, was able to keep their job, without having to take the jab.
I know many LEOs, firefighters, State Patrol, etc who were given accommodations. There were some police departments that did not mandate the shots but those who did, including the city of Seattle and King County, did NOT back down. There are still lawsuits slowly working their way through the courts because it was clear from internal documents that the government officials never had any intention to honor religious exemptions and in most cases, not medical ones either.
That’s not correct. My son, a Police Sargent in Washington State kept his job after filing all of the requested documentation for a religious exemption to the jabs. At the time he also did police work at a state college which also mandated the jab. His religious exemption kept him jab free every place he worked
That is great for him but I did say that SOME police departments did not mandate the jabs or did allow exemptions…I personally know many LEOs/Firefighters who work (or worked) in the City of Seattle/King County and NONE of them were allowed any accommodations that would allow them to continue doing their job. I am assuming that your son works for one of the departments who either did not mandate jabs or allowed religious exemptions, such as Sno County, Pierce County, City of Bellevue, etc…
I am very curious to know how he was able to avoid having to take the shot if he was working at a state university unless he did not actually come into contact with the public? Even the Republican House leader, Jim Walsh, was locked out of the Capitol, during the Legislative session for being unvaccinated. Inslee/Ferguson were relentless in forcing ALL state workers to get jabbed – we were one of the strictest states in the country regarding lockdowns and mandates, which is why so many people packed up and moved out during 2020-2022.

My Police Department did not mandate the vax but operated pods administering it to civilians and Officers. My buddy was MEDCAT giving them and did not get one himself. He said he tried to talk pregnant women out of it but they insisted on getting the jab.

However, it goes way beyond our federal government. It’s our current society that accepts and embraces their behavior. Many in our society are also self-serving frauds that help create the mess we are in as a country.
That would include the media of course which not only ignores many of the lies that drive policy they actively participate and promote the lies. It also includes community organizers and activists they help drive self-serving
fraud and corruption throughout local, state and federal governments.
And, lots not forget we the people who also participate and promote corrupt self-serving behavior. Our schools are a mess. We’ve become a if it feels good do it immoral and godless society. The part of our society that does push back on this erosion are overwhelmed with the loud aggressive activists that are supported by sel-serving politicians, media, corporations, sports, on an on.
We need our whole society to do a sanity check about who we are and who we want to be as a country. Common sense, honesty, rule of law, fairness, moral, etc.
Anyway, thanks for giving me another opportunity to rant.
I am just as frustrated as you, but I disagree. The vast majority of We The People just want to be left alone to live our lives.
We The People do NOT participate and promote that self-serving behavior; we’re too busy living.
That being said, the will of We The People to do something has been that of SAF. If Trump does not get elected or something happens to him, the SAF will change to something else very quickly. TPTB will not know what hit them.

The fully documented, treasonous, unconstitutional crimes committed by the democrats over the past decades through 3 of their administrations — clinton, o-bummer, biden —have been so egregious that they have risen to the level of requiring “organizational punishment” in addition to “individual punishment.”
America’s Constitutional Republic can not ignore the attacks that have been perpetrated on its citizens, institutions and founding documents by one of only two of its major national parties, the democrat national party.
The democrat national party needs to be banned from participating in the national election process for presidential and congressional / senatorial candidates. The ban should be at the minimum for 8 years starting in 2024 or at the maximum, it should be a permanent ban and the party disbanded — never allowed to participate in any future elections starting in 2024.
The organizational crimes must be met with a level of punishment that it will discourage any future national parties from committing such treason again.
“We the people” issue the franchise for a national party —— for as long as they follow their oaths to honor, support and defend the Constitution.

So, how would the supreme-court right-the-wrong that was inflicted on America’s Constitutional Republic and President Trump on 1/6/2021 when the democrat members of the house illegally certified communist biden as the winner of the fraudulent 2020 election?
Simple, after years of carefully studying the grand-jury quality affidavits submitted through the numerous Brunson brother’s 2020 election fraud cases, the justices, under the preponderance standard, could quickly declare the 2021 certification of the biden ticket (both president and vice president) unconstitutional and announce the immediate, emergency replacement appointment of Speaker of the House as President …. Speaker Mike Johnson will temporarily hold the position of President with Texas Congressman Ronnie Jackson as the temporary Vice President.
They would also rule that, as punishment for the democrat’s treasonous acts over the past years, the democrat party and their candidates in the presidential and legislative races should be banished from all elections from 2024 through 2032. President Trump and all republican candidates will be declared the winners of the 2024 election by default.
This would get the USA quickly, back under the sound, proven, popular, legal leadership of President Trump and end the dangerous, unnecessary beating of the war drums by an illegally certified biden administration.
Drastic times call for drastic measures.

I think there are much more than 10% of the people who are so dependent on the govt at all levels, but especially the federal level, that they cannot envision a world where the govt. does not take care of them completely. They want more govt. control, not less. Lazy, unmotivated and content to be given free cable and iPhones along with food stamps and free housing and not having to work for any of it. There are many who would never vote for removal of govt. power. I’m not trying to be unkind here but it is what it is. Why do illegal immigrants flood to this country? Why are they baited with the promise of free everything if they come here?
If we can reduce the govt. power by a third or even a half of what it is now, we would see positive results. We need to work towards doing that but must remember the resistance will be mighty.
The foundational DNA of this country for 460 years or so was constructed of intrepid, moral, God-fearing souls who saw the promise first of a new world, and then the vision put forth by the founding fathers. It was a haven to flee the institutional tyranny of their legacy monarchies. The immigration act of 1965 (?) was a watershed moment in history that turned our immigration policy upside down and changed the merit-based system that favored Western countries to overweight third world countries. For the most part, the latter have no opposition to government control – they seek not liberty, but instead seek economic and political security above all else.
That act was not intended to better the country – it was one in a long line of legislative acts that had its intention of turning the country hard left. Add in the illegal immigration that has been pushed by the establishment for the last few decades, and a couple of generations of youth brainwashed by public education, and we do unfortunately have far more than 10% of the country (including non-citizens) that love their big government.

I wish they would make passionate speeches that we Republicans are part of the problem. We make these passionate speeches and develop a platform we plan to follow, but do not. We over spend as much or more than the Democrats, we pass legislation that expands federal government control, we are not honest about the legislation we pass, we lie with the best of the politicians, we enrich ourselves while in office. We have been and are a big part of the mess our country is in now.
They, however, won’t do that. So why even bother to watch until President Trump comes out and makes his acceptance speech.

That was so true in 2021 as the RINO traitors, led by their leader Pence, help to illegally certified the loser of the 2020 election.
But in early 2021, President Trump stood up loud and proud and told the world he wasn’t going to concede the fraudulent 2020 election just because the democrats and their RINO coconspirators said he lost when he knew they cheated.
At that point in time, President Trump launched the 2021 MAGA / America First version of the republican party, sans the RINOs controlling the direction he took.
He completely turned away from the RINOs and left no doubt that he was charting his own way to recapture the hearts and minds of the American people to join him in Making America Great Again, AGAIN.
Now, after 3+ years of beating the never-trumpeters splinter candidates and crooked joe like a dirty rug, hostile taking over the RNC and raising his own campaign funds ….. he has given the republican party a new identity.
This new MAGA / America First version of the republican party has a following of 100+ million Americans.
Now, some just cannot shake the damages caused by the RINOs of 2021 and move forward with the MAGA / America First Republican Party. I could tell he had some form of dementia when he was campaigning in 2019. My stepfather passed away from Alzheimer’s so I was able to pick up on certain nuances. That being said, if he actually took the real jabs he deserves whatever happens.

I don’t get sick very often, I exercise, take vitamins, eat pretty good, keep stress to a minimum and I’m relatively healthy. Yet, I have noticed that since the covid era that a common summer cold isn’t what it use to be. The way it comes on and the symptoms seem to have changed.
Eat some fresh ginger and drink the juice of 4 or 5 lemons. I had some funkiness myself the last few days. I guess my natural immunity handled birdflu 24 without issue.
I do something similar. I make a tea with ginger, mint and rosemary. I have fresh mint and rosemary growing here at my place.
That’ll do. I am growing ginger, galangal, curcumin and garlic as well as lemons.

I’ve been wondering the same thing about chem trails / HAARP weather experiments. I noticed certain evergreens are turning brown this year. One 10 foot hedge along the entire fence line in my neighbor’s yard is starting to die. Prior to this year it was incredibly healthy, housing a variety of birds.
The only other time I recall a similar occurrence was when a weird rainstorm blow through here a few years ago. That storm left a lingering salt water odor from the beach several miles away. The treetops of all the tall oaks in the community then began to turn brown. All the leaves had dropped that summer, well before the fall months.

The lawsuit states that Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., made a “last-ditch effort” last week to Garland to resolve the issue without taking legal action but the attorney general referred the Republicans to the White House, which rebuffed the “effort to find a solution to this impasse.”

If they’re smart, they’ll do it immediately. If Kamala’s going to be the nominee, she might as well be the president first. That leaves the question of Trump, and his sentencing on July 11. Biden’s collapse makes this a much more perilous moment than it was. At this point Trump is not just the Republican candidate, but effectively the presumptive president. If you’re going to put him in jail, it had better be for a very serious crime that everyone agrees he committed. Otherwise you risk destroying the system completely and forever. We’re in legitimate danger. Democrats need to pull back.

Obama will not say whom he supports, nor as of yesterday afternoon had he met personally with Biden to deliver the message. Relations between the Obamas and the Bidens have never been warm. At times they’ve been hostile. But recently they’ve deteriorated further, mostly due to Jill Biden. In the hours and days after the debate, she kept her husband cloistered away from anyone who might convince him to drop out. Jill Biden is the driving force behind her husband’s reelection campaign, just as she was in 2020, when other members of the family (including Biden’s sister Val) considered him too impaired to run. The next generation of potential Democratic candidates understands all this as an opportunity and they’re circling, particularly Gretchen Whitmer, who is promoting herself aggressively.

All this nonsense you read about how “only Biden can make the decision to leave” is just so absurd. That’s not how the Democratic Party works. No individual is more important than the collective. That’s the whole point of the party. And in Biden’s specific case, he’s got no constituency in Washington. Yes, Ron Klain and 85-year-old Ted Kaufman benefit directly from his presidency, but it’s a small group. The rest of the city has no loyalty to Biden. They don’t care about him; they’ve never taken him seriously. Any president works for them as long as he’s a Democrat. It’s never personal with these people because the individual doesn’t matter.
