The number one theme being repeated by the professional left is the discussion of replacing Joe Biden with another candidate. I suspected that was the entire reason for a presidential debate to take place before the conventions.
I have outlined my prediction for almost two years. California Governor Gavin Newsom is certainly smiling, and there’s a reason why his aunt (in law) Nancy Pelosi, earlier gave up her leadership position to free up some time. Keep watching.

I think Trump could have done better by not repeating his answers over and over and just being more succinct on the subject points, and then give his extra time to Joe to give Joe more rope to hang himself. When the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) essentially nullified the law a few months ago by just raising the fixed fee from $10 to $20 per month (high income households would have been subject to $80/month) I realized this was a “cleanup on aisle one” move by the CPUC to at least allow Newsome to be swapped in. Note that all California commissions are far left organizations. Remember this if he’s selected and spread the word to all you know so that if he is selected that this dooms him.

I see no reason for Obambi to select Gavin Newsom, because he was never in Obama’s circle of influence. The candidate will have to be someone committed only to Barack Obama’s views on every so-called issue. Remember that Barack Hussein Obama is the world’s leading sociopath, and that means loyalty to Obama is the paramount consideration He will never give up on his own position as Political Chief of the Demcommie coalition. The 2024 primaries are over and delegates are being selected to attend dem ( and gop ) conventions to vote for their party nominee to run for President.
Imho, the dem convention delegates ( feeling tipsy after the candidate that they are obligated to support in the first ballot, brandon )
may find ( hello secret super delegates, again? ) that they need to vote more than one time in the convention.
[ privately, not in press for months, the miss leaders ( b o, h c, are internally campaigning for y, z replacement candidates ( and likely have been for several years )
….and in not democracy style, but in dictator style – the delegates will ( likely ) be told whom to vote prior to, or during the covention, on 2nd vote ( likely not what their state had voted for in its caucus / primary )… whom… they will try to make it look like they are following the convention rules ( also subject to change, by the convention rule maker$…]
[ in the meantime, what does that mean for lives, policies, inflation, illegal immigration, energy etc. at various fronts? hmmm…. still, not good ? Still being done by a hidden miss leader$ ?]

The dims convention is so close to when mail in ballots are to be sent out, I hope many states stand up and say it’s too late to change the candidate on the ballots.
Think about this. There are people that saw the contrast, and despise Trump so much, they’d still vote for Biden. Even though he clearly has no business in the presidency. Just his bearing makes him a national security threat, let alone all the other factors. Those people would rather commit national seppuku than vote for the guy that has a pulse. They will take you down with them in their despair of Trump.

I think those that thought Biden won had the bar pretty low: he won if he’s still alive after the debate.

So: IMO the more cogent arguments for the candidate swap concern trolls involve the Democrat fraud machine who could (may) be powerful enough to select {insert name here}.
I have my doubts, and they’re based on the fervor with which they attack Trump and all MAGA people with weaponized government, and continue to desperately push for an expanded Real War(tm) in three+ fronts at once, and slaver to get The Agenda pushed hard now fast.
In 2020 when they had this in the bag, with Trump doubly-impeached, he having delegated the C19 handling to enemies like Fauci, Birx, and Pence, and “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization” at full steam, they hid Brandon and let it run its course.
Now they’re trying to somehow impede the momentum to bring it back within the margin of fraud that they can achieve.
Secondly, while we blame a Biden or a Whitmer or a Newsome for policies, these spill down to leaders who themselves receive lesser benefits and greater risk for their actions and individuals who get only a bit of cash and risk real consequences. These people also have to buy gas and eggs, try not to be mugged, might know someone who “died suddenly,” and so forth. It takes a lot of people cooperating and covering to conduct a corrupt government.
