Besides the Jan. 6th Ruling, there was also the Chevron ruling, which was similar: broad and ambiguous laws should not be passed and then “interpreted” by the FedGov for its own aggrandizement of power.
Any law with vague, broad language should be obviously unconstitutional from the start.
That we have many lawyers in Congress passing obviously unconstitutional laws shows us how far competence – and honesty – among politicians have fallen.

Chevron Decision is Overturned!
The ruling was 6-3 with the conservative justices in the majority and liberal justices dissenting.

In another opinion today, SCOTUS ruled that the homeless do not have a right to camp on public property such as city parks. (City of Grants Pass). Ninth Circuit reversed. Another victory for the rule of law.
If “the homeless” had that right, so did everybody else. What if we all did that?
The Ninth Circuit had previously ruled that the municipality could only bar the homeless from city property if it had provided alternate housing for them. “Right” to free housing, apparently. SCOTUS shot down that reasoning.
Food for thought: If SCOTUS can rule that the homeless do not have a right to camp on public property such as city parks, the…they could have just as easily decided the opposite, that the homeless do have the right to camp on public property. Where did SCOTUS get the lawful, constitutional authority to rule on what the PEOPLE can or cannot do? If all their specific authority is granted in Article III, which clause grants them that authority?? Is this a subject that is left to the State or the People??

I agree, Clarion. In fact, when the rules of the debate were announced, I prayed that instead of stifling PTrump, that it would work to his advantage, and I believe it did. It gave him guardrails that helped him stay focused on getting out his own message, instead of being able to interrupt, ramble too long off-topic, or be perceived as overpowering or bullying a feeble old guy like Biden. I also believe that a lot of prayer warriors were praying for our lion (Sean Feucht and Eric Metaxas had an online pre-debate prayer meeting), and I believe God helped him see the big picture and know when to respond or defend himself, when to attack Biden’s record and not Biden himself, and in general, how to come off more mature and presidential than the resident next to him.
These people are so stupid. They really don’t understand that President Trump knows when he is speaking/riffing at a rally and when he is speaking before the entire country?
