My understanding/memory is that Giuliani received a copy of the laptop hard drive from the MAC store repair shop owner. If true, Giuliani never ‘hacked or manipulated’ the pertinent information since he never had access to the original laptop. Who did have access? Oh, that’s right, the FBI sat on that laptop for 10 months knowing exactly how damning the evidence was/is.

In February 2018, MA became the first state to ban bump stocks making it illegal to buy, own, or sell them, including private ownership. I remember the state sent letters to all registered gun owners informing them to turn in any bump stocks. Refusal to do so could result in prison terms of 18 months to life.
Fortunately, the compliance rate was laughable. One fellow that did comply wondered who was going to reimburse him the money he spent buying the bump stock.

Incredible to me that nine years ago this month, I was busy researching and writing a deep dive into the largely ignored ideological dangers of right-wing ideology from 1820 to WW2, with the result of a book of which I remain very happy and proud.
Today all the issues about which I care are routinely denounced as right wing and I’m considered part of the right, e.g. resistance to Covid lockdowns. even though I wrote an entire book against the historical right.
What is the explanation? My own view is that what is called the left today is actually some kind of ruling-class scientistic totalism that has almost nothing to do with the traditional left.
Another and probably more correct view is that left and right haven’t meant anything at all in many decades. All issues trace to people vs. the state/corporatocracy. All the rest is just a veneer.
