This is our customary Treehouse Church Sunday benediction. Betsy and I came upon this idea simultaneously. We talked it over for a brief bit and, honestly, it
just seemed like the right thing to do. If you are a regular here you’ve no-doubt noticed there is often a religious component to many of our posts. Yep. We are
a small community believers and this our Treehouse Church.
We don’t make a big deal of this—they are simply expressions of faith from people who are strong believers. They can appear at any time, are simply an everyday feature of our routine conversations.
That said, we’d like for this benediction space to be especially welcoming to all who visit here. If you are a stranger, please know that you are welcome. We’d like for you to be a believer, like for you to accept our Savior as your personal Savior . . . But we know that requires belief, requires acceptance. These are things we won’t push. But, if you decide to accept Christ, all you have to do is ask. Just do it your way and you’re in. Honest.
For the rest of us, I hope you can use this little space and this small amount of time=out-of-time to find a little of our Dear Lord’s Blessings and Grace. I hope everyone here understands that Our Lord loves us and will look after and protect us. All we have to do is accept Him. Finally, I hope everyone here will enjoy the musical selections. I choose them in the hope that they’ll allow us to find a little solace in this busy world. Have a very blessed Sunday, Treeper friends.

God morning, dear friend 🕊 Oh Garrison…I read this as if I were a weary traveller in this old world, searching for a place to rest for a while, not having found it in the places one would normally expect. With so many churches which should open their doors to the sanctuary of God’s Word having replaced Him and all that He is and ever has been with unfathomable new allegiances, I would feel instantly the welcoming you have so beautifully given. Our Lord has said He would be amongst us when two or three are gathered together in His name. And so we in this branch do indeed gather, pausing on our individual winding, uneven roads through this temporary world, grateful for His mercies which are new every morning and His many blessings, especially the ones we have yet to know.
I am so grateful for the company of friends who have become family. Those who have stopped here even for just a moment and moved on, those with us at this moment, and those who on seeing your warm invitation may yet join us to know in loving and caring for one another as we do, we know Christ’s love for us…and ours for Him 🙏🏻

I think you testify to the promised presence of God in darker moments which you have shared with us, dear friend. I for one remember. No one knows how the sharing of your experiences may speak to those we know or those who are just passing through. There is such comfort in constancy. In knowing that in some part of our lives in this world which radically shifts under our feet from minute to minute there are some things like your presence everyday with the music you love waiting for us to escape to.
But the ultimate constancy that, no matter what, Christ is there…our immovable Rock. What a comfort it is! 🙏🏻💕

Ask if you have not Received. “For every one that asketh receiveth.” Luke xi. 10
There is nothing more difficult than to ask. We will long and desire and crave and suffer, but not until we are at the extreme limit will we ASK. A sense of unreality makes us ask. Have you ever asked out of the depths of moral poverty? “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God…,” but be sure that you do lack wisdom. You cannot bring yourself up against Reality when you like. The next best thing to do if you are not spiritually real, is to ask God for the Holy Spirit on the word of Jesus Christ (see Luke xi. 13). The Holy Spirit is the One Who makes real in you all that Jesus did for you.
“For everyone that asketh receiveth.” This does not mean you will not get if you do not ask (cf. Matt. v. 45), but until you get to the point of asking you won’t RECEIVE from God. To receive means you have come into the relationship of a child of God, and now you perceive with intelligent and moral appreciation and spiritual understanding that these things come from God.
“If any of you lack wisdom…” If you realize you are lacking, it is because you have come in contact with spiritual reality; do not put your reasonable blinkers on again. People say – Preach us the simple gospel: don’t tell us we have to be holy, because that produces a sense of abject poverty, and it is not nice to feel abjectly poor. “Ask” means BEG. Some people are poor enough to be interested in their poverty, and some of us are like that spiritually. We will never receive if we ask with an end in view; if we ask, not out of our poverty but out of our lust. A pauper does not ask from any other reason than the abject panging condition of his poverty, he is not ashamed to beg. – Blessed are the PAUPERS in spirit.

OMGoodness!! Both wonderful moments for sure. The second one made my eyes misty, big time!
There are angels among us and miracles for those with eyes to see.
Those children might well have been my students.
Students with autism can be difficult to include in the activities that make school a community. I set up a rolling cart with coffee and tea for teachers and hot chocolate for students. Never a charge to students but if a class had a special occassion, or had done well on a test or project we would treat the whole class to hot chocolate. You must understand there is a huge proffit in selling 12 oz. of coffee for a buck.
My students had sign language for rudiments like “Good Morning”, “I want”, and “Thank you.”
One morning we delivered to the class of a kind and pretty teacher who enthusiacially greeted one of my students. He had the grace to blush and then spoke PERFECTLY!
He said, “Good Morning, I want Thank You.” Never happened again. The teacher went on to be Countywide Teacher of the Year, but talks about Brandon as being the highlight of her career.

Met with my old supervisor yesterday. Oh what JOY to see my old friend.
Polar opposites politically, and though not outright declared, notable things have changed.
Daughter who taught in public, the one who had her Crayola decorations removed… is now teaching in a Christian private school.
Her son teaches in a public high school and a sports coach, following in his late father’s footsteps… is a “gap” teacher. His students are ones having trouble meeting their core credit competency and he catches them up. His classes are FULL and they are seeing the wreckage of the experiences we shared.
Her sister is the administrative assistant for a Superintendent. They don’t discuss work for the differences in opinion they share.
It was not outwardly expressed “who are you voting for”… but I saw a woman who has gone through much adversity with a soft and contrite heart.
She is dear to me and she knew Savannah since she was 2 years old. Her family adores my daughter.
It is through life lessons that we grow and learn and that doesn’t end when school ends. Those experiences either solidify your stance on things… or alter your opinions with revelations.
Our country has been taken on a great ride… and not a good one.
Seeing this post and video from yesterday’s thread regarding Chris Wray’s testimony sickens me and makes me as vicious as a dog who’s been beaten attacking her puppy.
How is this not our nation’s holocaust?
I know… this is our OT. This is the “time out” section of the Conservative Tree to post respite for weary souls.
I want to comfort the weary, I do. It is impossible to be comforted with 600 – 800k (probably more) missing or dead.
I know 100% that these evildoers are purposefully ruining my own daughter. I know it… because she is a CHRISTIAN speaking out AGAINST them.
One thing we all can take comfort in… is that God’s Divine Purpose will not be thwarted in our lives. No matter what the devil throws at us. My daughter will stand through this and she will overcome.
For those who still dabble in evil… with one foot in the grave… now is the time for asking forgiveness, turning away from the sinful nature, asking forgiveness, and accepting the absolution that comes through our faith in Jesus Christ. There is no co-existing with evil. There is no “a little bit bad”. God does not recognize degrees of sinfulness.
A Christian myself, I’m constantly challenged by anger and filthy words that are very much created through adversity causing me to misstep… but strength is grown by the moment and by the day and God says His Grace is sufficient for us. Can we trust Him in that???
I caution you… if you are seeking a pleasant cup of tea, a warm hug, and a teddy bear… you might not want to watch this video. But if you need to know who the United States of America has become… then you watch this video.
Maybe I’m thinking differently about being invaded and overtaken now. Do we deserve it?

Because the online school is run out of Pennsylvania, the IN DOE will declare my daughter a “drop out”, will refuse to issue her a high school diploma, and will contact the Bureau of Motor Vehicles to have her learner’s permit rescinded.
How can they do this? How can they LEGALLY do this?
They will foist heaps of benefits and licenses and id’s on illegal aliens, yet my daughter cannot be FREE from a tyrannical education system that is psychologically raping her with foul language and sexually promiscuous content?
I have inquiries in with the Adult Education department for Workforce Development, an attorney referred to me by Purple 4 Parents, and the university recruiter.
If she didn’t have aspirations towards this college vocational program, I simply wouldn’t care about her being a “drop out” from the devil school, but my daughter loves learning and she… as well as others… deserves a proper and fitting education.
This is simply ridiculous. She’s not dropping out of school… the DOE just doesn’t want to recognize an out of state educator. I need to further look into the terminology of “homeschooling” verses this being curriculum originating in Pennsylvania.
Indiana students may drop out legally when they turn 18. Younger students may also leave school before graduation if they’re at least 16, have the consent of their parents and the school principal, and need to withdraw because of financial hardship, as long as they’re working to support their family or a dependent.
Before they withdraw, 16- and 17-year-olds must also have an exit interview and sign a statement that they understand dropping out will probably lower their future earnings and employment prospects.
If a high school dropout wants to get a driver’s license in Indiana, they will need to meet the standard requirements for obtaining a driver’s license, which include:

I am trying not to panic. the devil wants me to panic. She’s so close to graduation – has 40 credits in a Core 40 diploma. Only needs Government & Economics. However, we created a full curriculum of courses for a solid full year of senior year, because she needs the help of improving her scores.
But, now I don’t believe she needs help with scores per se. What causes me to say that – is they won’t let me have a professional assessment done of her work – it’s under lock and key – and only I am allowed to come in and view it, for a limited time, only under supervision of a resource officer, and with an NDA. None of these things screams transparency to me, which tells me “they are hiding something.”
What they are hiding is the mental assault they’ve done on our kids. They want to put a GAG ORDER ON ME in violation of my first amendment rights, so I don’t talk about it. (Do you think that’s going to work????)
I want her out of there. I want to start from scratch with courses provided by another entity to truly gauge what she knows and what she doesn’t know. They don’t want that.
So, in my small feeble mind – I think – what if she had a serious illness and couldn’t go to school? What if alternative learning were her only option? Parents have to contend with this every day, so what do they do? If other kids can go unconventional, why can’t we?
This interruption could delay entry into the college program for her, and what if it does? For all we know they’ll throw out another pandemic and that year of college is scrapped anyway.
So why am I so scared with all of this? (because they want me to be)
On paper, she could look like she’s dropping out – but she won’t be and as an adult she can take the Accuplacer test. I just need to make sure she can pass that test to get in and then she needs to maintain C+ or better to stay in the program.
Reading all these assaults on our kids. Our nation’s children. The children coming from other nations – do we really think those kids have a choice. Do you think a four year old coming across the border has any idea what day it is, let alone its mission in violating our border protocols?
All of the world’s children have become pawns in a wicked, wicked political game and if it isn’t enough to send this world to war… I don’t know what is. Maybe we need World War III. Maybe we need it to stop this insanity. I despair thinking this “out loud”.

This is just an observation, ‘Woo. Savannah isn’t “dropping out” she’s simply moving from one school to another. Big difference. This is something that, in my experience, happens all the time. Savannah is just being “labeled” by her school, something that is probably illegal.. I’d think the lawyer and the vocational counselor can be of assistance here. Sure hope so. Finally Shannon is 18 which makes her an adult. Again that’s a big difference—or should be.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

His friend is a pal of vigor and valor!
Never let pride enter into your heart;
It causes the Spirit to quickly depart;
Be slow to anger and quick to forgive;
For it is in dying – that you will live!
When another is injured or afflicted;
Let compassion rule – be not conflicted;
As your Heavenly Father gives to you;
For brother and sister – so you must do!
In your relations – be honest and true;
Do not deceive – let your ego rule you;
For what do you gain – when left all alone?
All puffed up in pride – your friendship blown!
How can a man be childlike in spirit?
Be pure of heart – and receive great merit;
What can he do to please Jesus each day?
He must humble himself – there’s no other way!
Whoever humbles himself Like a Child;
Will be greater in heaven – never exiled;
Whoever receives one – in Your Holy name;
Receives Child and You – one and the same!
