After an excellent rally in the Bronx, New York City last night, President Trump gave an interview to local media. Speaking to Tara Rosenblum from Crotona Park, during the short question and answer session, President Trump was asked about Nikki Haley stating she would vote for him. The question was about having room for Nikki Haley in the future Trump administration.

More likely than not Trump keeps dropping names like Haley and Rubio to placate donors. I recall early on Trump saying something about already knowing who his VP choice was… and this was months ago. And I recall him saying something about them “having military experience”. Which to me limits it to 2 people, however, both would be former Democrats.
I agree with your name dropping theory. Not sure about the military experience part. I would be happy with Flynn or Dr Carson. It has to be a Christian who has strong Faith. Someone who fears nothing not even death. They will be tested.

I think Flynn is pretty much the only one they fear as much as Trump. Assuming the candidate is MAGA, #1 quality for VP is the ability to be President. #2 is impeachment insurance. I don’t believe they’d think twice about impeaching Trump if it’s any of the others.

Most successful Presidents clean house when they come in. Nixon did not clean house, and it led to all kinds of idiotic decisions and policies. Nikki can use her diplomatic skills as our next ambassador to Taliban-held Afghanistan. I read that Nikki Haley and her team were going to attempt a coupe of sorts at the convention. Probably they will claim Trump is a felon and should not be their nominee.
I can see Trump saying this as a diplomat. Why not appease the enemy with words knowing she is a rotten person? I seriously don’t think he would trust her with anything. At least I hope not.
