I have to admit that my Treeper friends are a lot more attentive to how often I repost various performers. When I review performances, my first interest is in the quality of the performance itself.

Does it merit a reposting, have I posted it too close to another posting? In truth my disc-jocky experience pretty much dictates my posting choices.

I confess I honestly don’t keep track of repostings . . . Instead, I generally focus on the quality of the playing, itself. If I review the performance and the playing is genuinely exceptional, I’ll generally repost a great performance. Enjoy, Treeper friends 🙂

Polish mathematician and astronomer who theorized that planets revolve around the sun (Heliocentric theory), dies at 70

Biography: Copernicus, as well as an Astronomer was also a mathematician and physician. However it is for the formulation of his Heliocentric theory, where by planets revolved around the sun, that he is most revered.

Copernicus developed this theory throughout his life through study in Poland and Italy, reading of classical works and through his own astrological observations. The latter all done with the naked eye. His theory was finally published in 1543, the year of his death as ‘Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium’.

It may be that like the apostle John you know Jesus Christ intimately, when suddenly He appears with no familiar characteristic at all, and the only thing you can do is to fall at His feet as dead. There are times when God cannot reveal Himself in any other way than in His majesty, and it is the awfulness of the vision which brings you to the delight of despair; if you are ever to be raised up, it must be by the hand of God.
 
“He laid His right hand upon me.” In the midst of the awfulness, a touch comes, and you know it is the right hand of Jesus Christ. The right hand not of restraint nor of correction nor of chastisement, but the right hand of the Everlasting Father. Whenever His hand is laid upon you, it is ineffable peace and comfort, the sense that “underneath are the everlasting arms,” full of sustaining and comfort and strength. When once His touch comes, nothing at all can cast you into fear again. In the midst of all His ascended glory the Lord Jesus comes to speak to an insignificant disciple, and to say – “Fear not.” His tenderness is ineffably sweet. Do I know Him like that?
 
Watch some of the things that strike despair. There is despair in which there is no delight, no horizon, no hope of anything brighter; but the delight of despair comes when I know that “in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing.” I delight to know that there is that in me which must fall prostrate before God when He manifests Himself, and if I am ever to be raised up it must be by the hand of God. God can do nothing for me until I get to the limit of the possible.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the realm of education, major changes take place each decade. Among some of the greater changes is the employment of visual aids. A movement for the use of such learning support in the classroom, particularly for elementary grades, began in earnest in 1918.

To facilitate learning, education companies began developing such things as flannelgraph boards that were particularly helpful in history lessons. Stereographs, slides, and films soon became part of schools’ audio-visual departments. Today, computers control visual aids, and many in the education field report that students tune out due to visual overload, resulting in a diminished impact on learning. 

Bible historian H. W. Cragg said, “The Christian is the visual aid which God brings on to the stage when he begins to speak at an unconverted person.” Theologian John Piper says of today’s verse, it “doesn’t refer only to believers testifying by their lives to unbelievers. It also refers to that spiritual transaction between two believers… of the light of God’s love in one’s life so other believers see it.”

God has given you a purpose; your good works are visual aids that attract and point people to Himself. One writer suggested that those who have never heard the Gospel should at least see it by watching you. 

Jesus said that you are the light of the world. In Ephesians 5:8, Paul reminds you to “walk as children of light.”

Let your light shine as you do the things God has set out for you to do.

And, as one writer said, “If you are having a bad day and you can’t shine, at least twinkle!”

 Pray for Christians in Congress to shine in a way that they become the visual aid God uses to draw others into a relationship with Jesus.

My children, the number of attacks you have endured have been great, long, overwhelming, torturing, debilitating, depressing, frustrating in multiple ways. The enemies have attacked your minds, bodies, families, finances, your society, your way of living. They’ve put you under great stress. Do you see you’re not living a normal life? Some would say their lives have been horrible lately, so why are so many of My children still asking and praying to go back to normal. Your normal before Covid was slavery and with great bondage. That’s why exposures have to come. That’s why a great shaking must take place. I told you your enemies will not only turn up things against you, it’s about to be magnified and they will start to turn on one another and become careless and they’ll allow themselves to be put in precarious situations where they will trap themselves and others along with them. This is a time things will become more uncomfortable. Your enemies will shout more, threaten more and cause more disruptions. You will see more corruption. You will see them become more arrogant and they will not care if you know what they are doing against you in your nation.

This one about kill switches inside the means of production overseas. In the context of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. Woohoo! Score one for the good guys! Oh. Wait. Have the Chinese put kill switches into our means of production?

Earbuds have geotracking technology. Little, innocuous little bluetooth earbuds. Remotely tracked to the home of a criminal. Woohoo! Score another one for the good guys! Oh, wait, every little bluetooth device has geotracking technology.

There’s no “safe” technology out there. It’s all trackable, traceable, and capable of being remotely shut down, “killed” if the order is sent to do so.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
