There is also something wrong with Obama’s birth certificate. Don’t know what it is but there is something. I never believed he was born in Kenya. That’s not it.
Obama Jr… does look nothing like Sr… so maybe that’s it. It occurred to me that Obama’s real father may be a US citizen which would render all those eligibility cases moot. We will likely never know.
I recall following this burth certificate issue back in 2007/2008… and many people tried JUST to verify that Stanley Ann Dunham was IN xyz hospital on or about Obama’s birth. Just the answer to that simple, reasonable question was forbidden. All efforts to JUST verify Obama was born in HI on xyz date were actively forbidden.
The Dunhams were also either CIA or KGB. Not sure which.
I always thought it weird they named Obama’s mother Stanley Ann Dunham. They gave her a man’s name in the 1940s, something never done… b/c you wouldn’t want your daughter to be taunted for the rest of her life.

Now, a strange coincidence. I think toward the end of his career, Hunter S. Thompson wrote an article, I suppose for Rolling Stone, alleging that J. Edgar Hoover had hired young, white women as FBI informants, to infiltrate the civil rights movement, supposing that MLK and his companions would find them irresistible. He was spying on the civil rights leaders to try to prove they were Communist sympathizers. I can’t find that article now, but I remember the controversy on talk radio when it hit. I think it ended Thompson’s journalism career. Nevertheless, the idea that Ann Dunham could have been working for the FBI, when she met Barack Obama’s father, suggests itself as an explanation of her being in that particular place at that particular time.

Obama may have used his foreign citizenship to get into Columbia, possibly Harvard LS too as a foreign exchange student… b/c his father was a foreign national, citizen of Kenya.
Technically, Obama was born a US citizen, a British subject, then Kenyan citizen, then Indonesian citizen when his mother married Soetoro and moved the family to Indonesia. His elementary school records do show he was an Indonesian citizen. Can a child have his US citizenship stripped from him? No.
Still, this is a serious and valid LEGAL question that requires a ruling by SCOTUS.
What is the definition of a Natural Born Citizen, an actual constitutional requirement to BE potus.
Obama is a NATIVE born citizen of the US – born in the USA; and born to a US citizen (mother).
The question is … does a Natural Born citizen — that is only required for this ONE position (potus) — require the potus and c-in-c to be born in the USA/Territory to citizen PARENTS. That citizenship was also determined based on the citizenship of the Father, not the mother.
SCOTUS should have ruled on that legal matter. After all, THAT is a constitutional requirement to BE the POTUS. It cannot be an unknown which it remains, legally. Arguably, because Obama was permitted to get away with it… the question might be settled.
Still, it was awful 4 SCOTUS to refuse to rule on this direct requirement and resolve WHAT the definition of NBC is going forward.

Well… I followed this issue closely at the time… and came to the conclusion that Obama was born in HI.
That’s also logical b/c his mother and grandparents would not have wanted him born in another country like Kenya for safety reasons (4 both ann & barry).
And technically, the way it stands now- a person does NOT EVEN have to be born in the USA to be a NBC and eligible to be President.
Example: If Barry was born in the USSR in 1961, to a US citizen mother and a Soviet father.. and Barry spent many years raised in the USSR…. Barry is still a NBC of the US (via mother) and can be the POTUS snd C-in-C… Thats true even if his father is serving in the Soviet Politburo.
Now we would ASSUME that these facts about Barry would be discovered by the media and relayed to the people so we would know the truth about Barry… but WE KNOW the media LIES and covers up a boatload of stuff w/the help of the CIA FBI etc.
And the media DID cover-up a LOT about BHO II. There is no reason for all if his academic records for be sealed UNLESS there is a reason.

When I was a business major at UT Austin, in my third year I had to present paper outlining any topic I wanted. I chose to look at Sears and, briefly, explained how this all American successful store needed to start looking ahead, to update/modernize their business model or risk being left behind and ultimately made completely irrelevant. As indeed happened.
That was in 1971.

Sears could have remained viable today if they kept Craftsman and kept manufacture in the US. The quality of even VERY OLD Craftsman tools is amazing. When you compare the Chinese made Craftsman branded tools with the originals, there’s simply no comparison.
Sears could have survived on the Craftsman brand as a PREMIUM tool maker and seller. It might have lost many other things, but as a tool making business? They could have continued forever.
But as you said, this was back in the 7os and 80s when these things were going on and “business school graduates” were more concerned about the razor-thin margins of retail over the long term reputation and loyalty of the customers. Those were UGLY times indeed.
And their Kenmore appliances. I had a K washing machine and dryer and never had any trouble with them for the 14 years and three children before I immigrated to the UK.

Last time I was in a Sears before they closed, the big store in a nice shopping centre was filthy, stock strewn around in the clothing department. It was apparent they’d given up.
And while I agree an Amazon-like transformation may have helped, their brand had taken on a low class shoddy patina.

I had a Sears home service agreement on my house for years. When my furnace went out, they came in the middle of the night in winter. I kept it as long as they offered. I had it because my husband was active duty and had many overseas tours. It was a lifesaver.
It’s interesting, but companies don’t, just DON’T, make the tech transition. If I remember correctly, only ONE horse-wagon company made the transition to engine powered car. Studebaker. And why did only one analog information technology company make the transition to digital? IBM. I believe the reason they can’t make the transition is that they try, and fail, to convert their obsolete product company to a new product company. Can’t be done. Guys selling horse wagons can’t transition to cars. The only way to survive is the way Jobs did at Apple. Let Apple II die out while setting up an entirely separate organization for Mac. One dies, and the other survives, but within the company. What appears to be a “transition” is in fact, not.
I have two local grocery stores who were able to create online shopping within weeks/months of the plannedemic. Both are independents and both are doing well.

How many jurors will be morally sick enough to vote to convict? I cannot believe twelve will be.
One factor that may play into jurors’ votes (which they would certainly not say out loud in the jury room), is the state of NYC since Biden took office.
Businesses have closed, prices for essentials like food have gone up, and the city is swamped with illegal aliens, either on the streets, in housing in neighborhoods that weren’t consulted, or even in the subway, where illegal aliens kids hawk candy and other merchandise.
Some jurors may think, “I don’t like Trump personally, but my family and I were so much better off under Trump than Biden. A conviction could give me four more years of Biden….”
And they have six days to reflect on this before the closings. Shopping for groceries for the Memorial Day picnic, trying to find a park for a picnic that doesn’t have illegals camping in it. Looking for a safe, clean place for your kids to play over the three-day weekend.

Gonna be honest here. If the prosecution couldn’t make a good case, I wouldn’t convict Obama either.
There are things we believe and things we know. I will not convict anyone on belief. Looking back on my life filled with beliefs, I observe not all of them have been correct or even “good.” The best we can ever do is base decisions on evidence available to us which we already KNOW is tainted and biased out the yin-yang. But it’s still the best standard we can have.
Obama once told the nation that he didn’t have the power to do “Obamacare” and later on, he did it anyway. I see Obama the way I see the majority of political figures over the past decades of my life. I think they started out with some degree of good intention and wanting to do the right things. But the moment intelligence briefings occur, they start changing. That’s a VERY consistent pattern. And what does that point to?
If I thought there was reasonable doubt about Obama being guilty I would vote to acquit him.
I’m generally not optimistic about anything or anyone in politics, but I do find myself thinking an aquittal may be possible. The prosecution’s case totally blew up on it. Even woke idiots who vote to convict would likely be mocked by others in their social circles. The case is such an embarrassment that I think they’ll be hard pressed to find regular people willing to convict.

I read a story the other day of someone squatting in a property for 8 mths, they only got arrested when they stole a neighbors vehicle. As soon as they got bailed out, they went right back to the property… THAT THEY ALSO STOLE!
The simple fact is, a criminal accusation was presented to the police. The police investigating were presented with FALSIFIED DOCUMENTS and the police walked away. All they NEEDED to do was to copy the documents and continue the investigation. Once they supply fast information to government, they are now able to be charged with even MORE crimes.
A new law was never really needed. All the squatters needed to told by police is “we will take a copy of your lease and if these are false documents, you may be charged with a felony on top of the crimes we are investigating now.”
None of this needs to be happening ANYWHERE. Police need to do their jobs. If they are GIVEN evidence, they should VALIDATE the evidence.

I have observed and participated in trials throughout the world. I have seen justice and injustice in China, Russia, Ukraine, England, France, Italy, Israel, as well as in nearly 40 of our 50 states.
But in my 60 years as a lawyer and law professor, I have never seen a spectacle such as the one I observed sitting in the front row of the courthouse yesterday.
The judge in Donald Trump’s trial was an absolute tyrant, though he appeared to the jury to be a benevolent despot. He seemed automatically to be ruling against the defendant at every turn.
At some point, Dershowitz needs to be fully exposed.

“The trial against the Caimanera protesters for the crimes of public disorder, instigation to commit a crime and attack began this Wednesday behind closed doors and under a strong security operation that protects the surroundings of the Municipal People’s Court of Niceto Pérez, in the Guantanamo province.
The activist and independent journalist Yeris Curbelo Aguilera tried to cover the case but was intimidated by State Security so that he would leave immediately. The reporter shared his testimony through an audio that was broadcast through the Facebook page Presos Políticos de Cuba [Cuban Political Prisoners] where he briefly chronicled the situation outside the court.
“I went to Niceto Pérez but when I arrived [there was] a tremendous police and State Security operation. As soon as they saw me get out of the car, the mobilization and more intensified, against me,” he explained. “They pounced on me, they got on top of me and the head of State Security in Caimanera, Lieutenant Colonel Giovanni Rafita, and others, told me that I could not enter the court.”
However, a few minutes later, after being harassed and remaining in the crosshairs of the political police, they finally asked the journalist to leave under the threat of charging him with the crimes of disobedience and contempt.
The trial is taking place a year after the anti-government protests that shook the municipality, next to the United States naval base, where the protesters demanded freedom and a dignified life for the population of the area. This sparked a violent response from the regime that did not hesitate to send to the streets groups of Black Berets — as the elements of the National Special Brigade of the Ministry of the Interior are known — to repress the participants and try to limit the events to an “unusual demonstration” of a few dozen people.
This Wednesday, at the start of the process against those detained for the protests, sitting on the bench of the accused was Daniel Álvarez González, who is facing the harshest sentence with a nine-year prosecutor’s request for the crimes of “public disorder” and “instigation to commit a crime,” reported Martí Noticias.
He was followed by Luis Miguel Alarcón Martínez, whom the authorities seek to imprison for six years accused of “public disorder” and “attack.” Álvarez González and Alarcón Martínez remain under precautionary prison measures at the Guantánamo Complex.
The rest of those involved in the process remained free on bail. Among them are Rodolfo Álvarez González, Freddy Sarquiz González and Felipe Octavio Correa Martínez, all three with a prosecutor’s request for six-year sentences for public disorder and attack. Completing the list is Yandris Pelier Matos, who faces four years for public disorder.
The document against the detainees, which was released by some relatives, indicates that on May 6, 2023, Daniel Álvarez González and Luis Miguel Alarcón Martínez began shouting slogans such as “Down with Díaz-Canel,” “Down with the Revolution,” with signs of having consumed “alcoholic beverages” and with the aim of “promoting chaos.”
According to the official story, their calls incited other residents to accompany them, according to the Guantánamo Public Ministry, which states that they even tried to overpower law enforcement to avoid arrests. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the six accused young people maintain “reprehensible” behavior, including participating in illegal games and dog fighting, in addition to being unemployed. However, none of them have a criminal record.
“It is a closed-door trial, that is what I am aware of so far,” Victoria Martínez Valdivia, mother of two of the protesters, explained to Martí Noticias this Wednesday. One of her sons suffers from mental retardation and was still brutally beaten by police agents. “Let’s see what happens, [in court] we are the accused, three witnesses for each one and two closest relatives.
