Not long ago I heard that Trump had declared that he can fix our national woes in six months’ time once he regains office. Wouldn’t that be super? I don’t doubt that he can, and will, rectify a great deal of what’s amiss. He can close the border and deport all the illegals we can locate. He can rescind all the idiot mandates Biden has put in place — pull the transfolk out of the military, stop the sexual mutilation of children, thin the government bureaucracies, stop the ridiculous spending — a lot is under the presidential purview to fix. But some things are not.
For one, we have several generations that have been ill-educated by our schools, both public and private. This wouldn’t be hard to fix if it were only this last, this Covid generation, but things have been sliding downhill precipitously since the 60s. We will have to re-educate our educators, but where will we find knowledgeable, literate, traditional teachers to do that? Our young people know little about our national history, about the philosophy behind the inception of this country, nor do they grasp the connection between freedom and God. They are steeped in situational ethics, convinced that their only responsibility is to provide themselves with pleasure. They are not particularly interested in getting married and raising children. And they are filled with propaganda re evolution, climate change, and sexual perversion.
I’m painting this with a broad and crusty brush and I know (I teach in a private Bible college.) that we do have amazing young people in this country — kids who are smart, well-taught, respectful, and eager to get to work. We also have thousands of really superb teachers. My concern is with the proportions — do we have enough splendid youth and reasonable instructors to carry the load? I don’t know; only God does.

Here’s how we get more inflation, according to TIPP, which found that Bidenflation went up yet again, dating from the day Joe Biden took office.
The dark reality of Bidenomics is 19.2% inflation under the President’s watch, which is 5.9% annually. When he took office, inflation was at just 1.4%. Since March 2021, it has stayed above the Federal Reserve’s 2% target (38 consecutive months.).
Under Biden, the federal debt has increased by $6.9 trillion. The Federal Reserve printed money out of nothing to finance his spending spree. The increased money supply without a corresponding increase in goods and services reduced the value of each dollar, causing prices to rise quickly and leading to high inflation, effectively acting as a hidden tax on everyone.
Prices have increased by 19.2%, while real wages have declined by 2.6%. Average hourly earnings for all employees dropped 2.6% to $11.09 in April 2024 from $11.39 in January 2021 when Biden took office.
Biden has tried to gaslight the public with raw lies, claiming that inflation was 9% when he took office. The easily debunked reality is that it was 1.4% according to official data.

This will be a lot of fun, though it might make you hate Pelosi more than you currently do. The protagonist here is Winston Marshall, who you might know as the former banjo player for the rock group Mumford and Sons. Marshall is a very good example of somebody who got canceled, as he was essentially thrown out of Mumford and Sons because he wasn’t woke enough for the snowflake sensibilities of the other members.
The thing about getting canceled, though, is that it frees you up to say whatever the hell you please.
And it turns out that Winston Marshall is fairly well-read and quite articulate. So much so that when he was invited to argue at the Oxford Union on behalf of the opposition to a proposition condemning populism as a “threat to democracy,” he acquitted himself awfully well.
The proponents of that absurd elitist idea – you’ll note that this is one time the elites aren’t using the term “our democracy” to describe what’s under threat from populism – brought in Nancy Pelosi as a ringer to argue for canceling the populists. Which she did.
And the things she said were all the things you’d expect.
Then came the banjo player, and Marshall wiped the floor with her. To such an extent that she couldn’t help herself and began heckling him with nonsense – not once but twice.
And that, of course, was an admission she had lost the argument.
Anyone who says “our democracy” is an enemy of the people.
