The Supreme Court of the State of New York Appellate Division agreed to block former President Donald Trump’s $464 million bond if he posts $175 within the next ten days for his New York civil fraud case.

Anyone that attempts to claim that the U.S. economy is in good shape is just being delusional. Judge Engoron has refused to obey the decision of the Appellate Division relative to the Statute of Limitations.
This is a confrontation between a Judge and those that rule above him – A very bad situation in which to place New York State and the Rule of Law! Engoron has disrespected the Appellate Division and its very clear and precise ruling.
He should be made to do so, and at the same time, release the GAG ORDER.

The New York AG sues a meat company because it sells too much meat.
Last week Attorney General Letitia James charged the world’s largest beef producer, JBS USA, with misrepresenting its carbon emissions.
“Beef has the highest total greenhouse gas emissions of any major food commodity,” the lawsuit notes, and livestock production contributes about 32% of anthropogenic methane emissions each year. JBS says it plans to become “net zero” by 2040. But Ms. James complains that JBS didn’t quantify its so-called Scope 3 emissions from suppliers and customers.
In any case, neither New York nor federal law says companies must disclose their greenhouse-gas emissions.

Other NY located businesses are paying close attention.
I think there were several reasons why the Court of Appeals did this.
Although the Court may be Dem-heavy, it does care about the overall credibility of the NY court system. It does not want to be known as a kangaroo court.
The Court of Appeals may have some genuine concern for the way Letitia twisted a consumer fraud statute to use in a case in which there was no fraud. They may see a need to clarify how this law should be used or even to strike it down as unconstitutionally vague.
The third reason is that the Court saw the possible devastating effects this case could have on real estate investment in NY, and on the NY economy in general, despite Gov. Hochul’s assurance to potential investors that Trump was a unique case and they needn’t be worried. There may have been some discreet calls from business leaders to acquaintances on the Court of Appeals that they didn’t want NYC to go into a real estate doom loop like San Francisco.

Tempting, but as a retired lawyer, I can assure you that it will be much more satisfying for Trump to defeat Letitia and Engeron on their home turf – the NY court system.
Being reversed by an appeals court would be a public rebuke – “You got this wrong. You didn’t understand the law.”
Engeron and Letitia have already been publicly slapped down on the bond amount. It doesn’t necessarily mean Trump will win the whole appeal, but it is encouraging that the Court of Appeals is probably concerned for the reasons I laid out above.

I read the full Trump ruling fining him half a billion, and it’s WORSE than reported.
For example, Trump paid back the Post Office (Trump DC hotel) loan in full and made a 126 million dollar profit.

The entire premise of the suit is silly beyond belief. The banks did their own estimates of the properties’ values and set the loan terms and interest rates based on their own valuations. No one was conceivably harmed in any way by the Trump organizations’s estimates.

FDA CAPITULATES TO A $0.10 PILL
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has agreed to remove social media posts and webpages that urged people to stop taking ivermectin to treat COVID-19, according to a settlement dated March 21.
The FDA has already removed a page that said: “Should I take ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19? No.”
Within 21 days, the FDA will remove another page titled, “why you should not use ivermectin to treat or prevent COVID-19,” according to the settlement announcement, which was filed with federal court in southern Texas.
The FDA in the settlement is also agreeing to delete multiple social media posts that came out strongly against ivermectin, including one that stated: “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”
“FDA loses its war on ivermectin and agrees to remove all social media posts and consumer directives regarding ivermectin and COVID, including its most popular tweet in FDA history,” Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, one of the doctors, said in a statement. “This landmark case sets an important precedent in limiting FDA overreach into the doctor-patient relationship.”
“We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the settlement as it is a victory for every doctor and patient in the United States,” added Dr. Paul Marik, chief scientific officer of the FLCCC Alliance and another plaintiff. “The FDA interfered in the practice of medicine with their irresponsible language and posts about ivermectin. I have a friend who lost her 29 yo son during the Delta variant because they could not get ivermectin for prophylaxis or early treatment, ditto IV vitamin C. Her best friend also lost her 20s something son during Delta.
There really is no justice until supercriminals like Fauci et al are tried for high crimes, convicted, executed and totally forfeited.
I was hospitalized because it took me 9 freaking days to get ivermectin. I used ivermectin in the hospital because I told them I would take my own and walk out or they’d give me my prescribed amount. Treated me like a leper because I’m unvaxxed.

one clue to that possibility is how the CCP freaked out and arrested Dr. Li Wenliang (an ophthalmologist) for warning his colleagues about this illness he had been seeing in his patients, he said it was “SARS-like” and extremely contagious, to take precautions to avoid catching it or spreading it further . . . they hauled him off to the local police station and grilled him, really put him through the old treatment, this married young man (33 years old), father of two children . . . who then got the illness himself and died . . . then the CCP of course blamed the local police for being overzealous or something to that effect. It was an admonishment.

It depends on how far you drive the ICE vehicle and which vehicles you compare. From a cost standpoint, my $900 Craigslist motorcycle will go a long way on $19,000 worth of fuel, the price difference of a battery fueled Zero motorcycle. About 80 years to brake even, depending on assumptions.
