I’m not sure what you’re referring to as far as “financial funds,” but if you mean stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, it is days for any modern brokerage. In my experience, any sales proceeds settle in two trading days. Meaning if you sell something on a Monday, you can withdraw by Wednesday. ACH is completed overnight, or you can pay the $15-30 for a wire which is same day. He apparently has about $425m or so in “cash,” but I’m guessing most of this is actually in investments. So not technically cash but very liquid. The more concerning part is how he will be able to post a bond. This whole situation is ridiculous, and it will not be the easiest to secure one for the amount that is needed. All I can hope is that some other wealthy people step in and do the right thing.

Pondering the debate over the VP choice, it is most notable that there is supreme uncertainty as opinions “unleash.” A key problem is the lack of a bench. The last few years have exposed a rot that intimidates in its ubiquity. How few of our officials anywhere in our society have demonstrated leadership for the good and the true.
Have decided for me, that the key aspect for VP is backbone. If this has not been clearly demonstrated, the choice is unacceptable. I am primarily appalled at the abscence of clear alternatives which would be widely acceptable.
One contrast for example, which does not represent a my selection, but rather serves to illustrate.
Tim Scott has not a backbone. He endorsed Lisa Murkowski – a clearcut tell. No one willing to stand for MAGA does that. If PDJT were to choose him, it is tantamount to committing suicide as the swamp would find a way to install Scott, knowing he would kowtow.
Tulsi Gabbard has a backbone. She has stood against the mobocracy and media contempt. You/I may not agree on everything she has done, but she has not wavered. I do find it interesting to wonder if she could help unify disparate groups. Do not know.

When looking through an Overton Window of a typical, normal thread, you would see mainly DC or international oriented topics.
What you won’t see are state and county oriented topics about legislation, state and local candidates and election control processes.
The bad guys control the outer bounds of the Overton Window so that the state oriented topics seldom appear within the window frame. You would think nothing was ever happening in the states where MAGA is working.
The main control of an Overton Window falls to the “MAGA Imitator Commenters” who actively comment on and introduce comments about DC or international oriented topics.
They can work alone but it is not uncommon for them to work in teams of 2-3 commenters to build up a topic within a thread, monopolizing the “conversation.” They are tag-teams. They will also “like” each others comments to try to build up a topic.
They are easy to spot once you know what to look for. They will never introduce or comment positively on a state or MAGA topic, never ….. and the members of the tag teams always show up together.

I have grown up listening to but unable to understand specialized vocabularies.
Then I trained for years to learn a very unique vocabulary to express concepts that were invented by and for a very small subset of scientists.
And then I found myself unable to communicate with others, especially non scientists.
Our world is full of these specialized vocabularies. They end up being like communication shorthand, instantly communicating vast understandings between initiates. Using them correctly marks one as special.
But they shut out the rest of the world. Thus using them stops understanding.
I find that it is better to find that understanding and boil it down to basics.
In this case, society maintains what is acceptable or unacceptable to discuss. By identifying that fact, you can begin to control it. And it is easier to control it if you have a simple name for it.
There are many who manipulate us by so manipulating society. We see this all the time. And we are usually punished for daring to step out of these bounds.
But when we understand that Overton Window means we are being manipulated by putting important things outside the bounds of acceptable discussion, then we can defend ourselves.
But I don’t believe tag-teamers control our discourse. Mostly, they garner our snickers.
Yet this character uses it incorrectly and condescendingly to flummox the flimflam victims.
He also references policy proposals and movements and operations that simply do not exist.

Military clinics and hospitals worldwide have been affected by a cyberattack on the United State’s largest commercial prescription processor, Change Healthcare, according to officials with the Defense Health Agency.
It also has affected some retail pharmacies across the country.
For the time being, officials ask for patience, “while pharmacies take longer than usual to safely fill prescription needs.”
Until the issue is resolved, military pharmacies will use a manual procedure to fill outpatient prescriptions, health officials said in a Thursday statement to Military Times. Priority goes to urgent prescriptions, followed by routine prescriptions.
“Each military hospital and clinic will continue to offer pharmacy operations based on their local manning and resources,” officials said.
On Wednesday, Change Healthcare disconnected its systems to protect patient information.
“Once we became aware of the outside threat, in the interest of protecting our partners and patients, we took immediate action to disconnect our systems to prevent further impact (after the horse has left the barn? – W),” stated Change Healthcare’s status web page.
The latest update said the company expected the disruptions to last at least through Thursday.

Sorry could not do the entire 4 min they are so deluded they have no idea where they are.
The stock market keeps going up despite my personal emotional bias thinking the stock market should be going down. This is why when it comes to making money in the stock market, I have to use my technical indicators. I don’t listen to talking head gurus and the manipulators can manipulate until they’re blue in the face.
It reminds me exactly like IFR flying instruments. While in the clouds I would feel like I was perfectly level, but my “instruments” were telling me I was nose down in a 60-degree bank turn. I had to use my instruments to survive and fear of death is a tremendous motivator.
I like to think the fundamental reason the market keeps going up is because Trump MAGA is winning and my intermediate longer- term “indicators” are saying the same thing. It’s not rocket science and if in doubt I’ll ask my 4th grade neighbor, what does he “see” with the video game I gave him?
Stick with your first thought. We both know it has been artificially propped up.
I liquidated 3 today at near 52 week highs. 2 more soon.
Short term CDs looking good to me until we see what happens.
