10% for the Turtle?
The Turtle is protecting the money laundering operation. They need that bribe money to defeat Trump. Remember what Kari Lake said, “He told me to name my price.” That is how they are keeping every ones mouth shut: Lots of cash bribes. Now we know. I smell desperation.
🎯👍
Can he stay in Ukraine?
Wouldn’t that be nice 🤔
Yes, somebody should just accidentally forget to bring him back to the States and leave him there to kiss up to Zelensky.
Perhaps he can visit that dumbazz region of Ukraine…(sp?)?
He’d certainly fit right in. Maybe he could take Chucky with him.
And Paul Pelosi, Nadler and Swallwell- send all the dirty diapers to Ukraine.
Donbas
Like under the rubble?
Please do. The USA can no longer afford him.
Send him to the front lines along with Schumer
Let them lead by example. Show the Russians what a RINO can do
Exactly, the Ukrainian regime needs warm bodies, average age is 43 in their army now. Mentally challenged, pregnant women, 70 year old men to 14 year old boys are all listed on telegram posts as KIA. An old washed up goat from the states won’t be missed here. The plus for the Ukrainians is if he is just wounded the price the medics receive before they move casualties will be astronomical for him.
I can see it now – forget the The Ghost of Kyiv!
The MSM headlines will be plastered with headlines describing the daring exploits of the Turtle of Kyiv!
If Russia can hit us over here, why can’t they hit Chuck and Turtle when they are over there? Just asking.
IMO, optics. Russians don’t generally hit adversaries near their home turf. Better to make it look like a left-wing whacko and do right here in the U.S.
Another posit is Putin wouldn’t consider those two high enough value to waste an asset on.
However, Ukraine AA has been known to malfunction. I wouldn’t be sad.
They can draft him.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and the Russians will send a Kinzhal missile to greet the turtle.
Too much common sense.
More hyperbole and angry letters and sound bites needed….
As in ” The Russians are coming from outer space” so send more corrupt kickback cash to that sheethole Ukraine
Deleted.
There are deep, dark reasons behind this gubmint obsession with Ukraine. Pick the Victoria Nuhland scab & all the gangrenous puss will drain out…
Amen, Mom
Victoria Nudelman.
Bongino has a theory…listen to his podcast today. It was a good one.
Bannon also says “dark” but he hasn’t put his finger on it.
It is the money cartel who will rebuild – they will also auction off all the assets of Ukraine for cheap.
Blackrock and Vanguard are waiting in the wings.
Sadly, with all of this corrupt, total bs, kickback cash getting flushed through that dump, Putin would likely win a fair election in the US over the Demented Fraud and all his puppet masters
Remnants of Nazis, bio-weapon labs, corruption at all levels of politics and business, internal wars, external wars, strong tendencies to dictatorship, butchering their own population, blackmarket sales of weaponry, squandering of money that came free. An American politicians Dream Come True! Holding true to their promises to Klaus Schwab!
The repukes are going to Ukraine because word is out it is collapsing. Same with Turner. All of them want to avoid the blame even though all of them are to blame. Another CIA backed coup that failed.
All the old tricks aren’t working anymore, and all we can do is impotently saber rattle because the alternative is the rest of the world against us. We lose. Hence why they are gaslighting us and trying to cajole us. That too is failing.
Maybe we could tell “the rest of the world” that we just ran out of checks and being so concerned and all, they can take over for a while.
They can bring all the money they’ve been stealing from us back in diplomatic pouches.
No checks, no size limits, no one’s the wiser.
Why couldn’t they have gone to Afghanistan when it was collapsing.
Perhaps they and there staff could have given the soldiers at the main gate a break checking in refugees and Jihadis
I would be sad if a bomb dropped on their heads.
I like Rand, however he really does not get the job done.
But then who does?
Covfefe
Bingo. Nice guy but ineffective. IDK if that’s due to a lack of spine or is deliberate.
I have to say it is deliberate. He has the spine if he needs to display it to keep the theater going.
I agree it’s deliberate. As for his spine…I’m not so sure…. The theater keeps going without his support but can be disturbed if he (or someone) would disturb it…
Check his bank account. That’ll give your answer.
Jealous
I’d rather be homeless and destitute than sell my soul for money, and I have been. Will take my honest life over anyone in DC’s any day of the week.
I read somewhere years ago that Rand Paul was the only senator
that did not spend his annual senate stipend for office staff, supplies, etc.
Lack of spine; that’s a big reason he never gets traction when he runs for president.
When Republicans controlled House and Senate for the first two years of Trump’s term, Senator Paul had the repeal-and-replace plan for ObamaCare ready to go. Ryan and McConnell pretty much shut the door in his face and Senator Paul pretty much caved. I like him, but he just doesn’t have the fire in the belly.
That’s my conclusion as well.. He is still “old school” Establishment Republican….a gentleman who refuses to get his hands dirty….wants to pretend they’re all “gentlemen”..
Bull hockey.
He talked about election fraud in 2020 but then said he did not believe he could vote to not certify the results. At least he articulates the truth more frequently than most in the Senate, but I can’t unsee Suspicious Cat’s eyes when he does.
The procedure was to challenge state’s counts from the floor which several Reps were prepared to do.
But Pelosi & Deep State Dems knew about it and prepared the false flag riot plans and the fake pipe bombs so they could preclude any challenges with a “sudden emergency” after which procedure automatically bypassed any challenges and went straight to a floor vote.
He was not open to the idea of challenging a state’s certified result.
I am very familiar with what happened on J6. I read.
https://www.paul.senate.gov/news-dr-rand-paul-we-simply-cannot-destroy-constitution-our-laws-and-electoral-college-process/
Yes like I wrote in another post, he abides by rules that may have worked in an older, different era with a Congress composed of a far more honest group of Republicans. But that era is long gone. 40 years gone.
The false flag operation did not change his mind. It’s not lack of spine. It is philosophical differences, not cowardice. He does things as what he believes is by the book- that is, what is Constitutional. He was not on board with “not certifying.” I provided in the link above,(if you had bothered to read)he had a prepared speech for that now infamous day, which included:
“My oath to the Constitution doesn’t allow me to disobey the law. I cannot vote to overturn the verdict of the states.”
Pence was of the same school of thought-at least publicly, that he held no such power- but he would not admit to election theft. Paul, admits to election theft but pulls a John Durham and claims it’s not in his purview.
The rule book he abides by is the Constitution. His interpretation of the rules is what is questionable. How can a federal certification of a known fraudulent result have been the framers’ intent? It is illogical and the point of certification must rest in the definition of the word itself.
We cannot look at a package of chicken breasts stamped USDA Certified Angus and not see Suspicious Cat’s eyes. It’s still chicken. No stamp gonna change that. The framers had no such intent for Congress to certify fraud. Yet, that is what Paul claimed.
You and I are saying the same thing using different terms.
I wrote that Rand is using “an older set of rules”, one of which is a traditionally narrow interpretation of the Constitution that seemed to work for “gentlemen Republicans” until it was negated by Lawfare and modern Democrats.
You just wrote “His interpretation of the rules is what is questionable.”
Bingo! Of course it is questionable! It’s outdated since DemoCrat’s Lawfare destroyed it! You can quote him all day long but you’re wasting words with most of us in the Treehouse because we already know what he’s doing and why he’s doing it. This is old news for those of us who’ve been here since Trump was elected.
Despite his reasonableness on some topics, Rand is still part of the Uniparty Establishment, proven by the fact he never once objected to McConnell’s 4 year continuous session without recesses wherein Pres. Trump could have made several critical recess appointments that weren’t blocked by Deep State Uniparty DeceptiCons.
And I still contend and won’t be convinced otherwise that he lacks spine since he dares not to challenge the Uniparty. He’s too comfortable.
I’m out of this discussion. We’ve made our points. Let others decide where they agree or disagree.
Peace and have a nice day.
Sorry for attempting to elucidate a distinction for you. Of course, a good buttress for an argument is to pull rank- I’ve been here longer than you so shut up. Geez…Yes sir Maha Bari! What a sneering attitude you possess sometimes. You have a nice day too.😁
Pretty much looks like that.
Maybe the people of Kentucky should throw him out and elect another McConnell.
Ditch Mitch and his offshore wife. Oops, a few social score demarits…
I like Rand. I really appreciated his efforts to call out the Covid hoax and Fauci.
How can a Senator in the Minority party, whose leadership is owned by Globalists, be more effective in Washington DC?
He could very well be Mr. Smith, a Jimmy Stewart, a Zippo lighter that requires a good spark and adequate fuel at the right timing to ignite and appreciate the smoke. Zippo may be the start of our march. Wishful thinking is prevalent, but it does invite hope.
rand is a blustering tool
his rants are purposed to make you think something is finally going to be done
but take note, nothing ever comes of it
never, ever, ever
Fundraising does
If you could control 1% of the votes in the senate, what could you get done?
maybe i’d come up with a disingenuous and enabling straw man argument
Hmm..I’d call them well-thought-out posiitions rather than rants, but he IS a little outnumbered. Considering the flack he gets for the “rants,” I always thought of him more of a true believer in the minority than a thick-skinned “take the money and run” type. While I doubted that there were enough of others like him to make any difference, I never doubted his sincerity or saw him as taking unpopular positions just for the money.
it’s all a gigantic charade in club 535
people either get it by now or they never will
btw
why hasn’t just one of those 535 super heroes ever attempted to fix our broken voting system
because all 535 are beneficiaries
precious rand included
i’m now enlightened to how they convinced the juice to get in the boxcars
i no longer wonder how it happened
time to wake, people
For sure most of them are in the club of the “big vote fix”, but not all. Voting will never get us out of this.
Rand is personally responsible for trashing Trumps attempt to get rid of ObamaCare.
Rand is a rat bastard.
Don’t blame Rand Paul for that. He was open about being in opposition. It was John McCain who committed the traitorous act, he promised during his Senate re-election campaign that he would repeal Obamacare, like an obnoxious drama queen he waited until he had everyone’s attention and then voted ‘no’ to the repeal. He harmed all of us just to try to hurt Trump.
On top of that, the clowns’ survivors gave him three funerals. Just think about the egotistical attack on this Nation for a jerk who spilled his guts to the commies while at Hotel Hanoi. Fellow airmen attest to that, but powers in Washington have “ways” to erase many facts.
On my birthday back in 2012, after I had spend considerable effort at the Nevada GOP county (Clark) and state conventions to get Ron Paul nominated where we WON all the delegates, his son Rand announced, “I’m happy to support Mitt Romney.” I was disgusted!!
He also did a one-man filibuster in defense of government violence against innocent Americans, he demanded that Obama release his policy on the use of drones to kill Americans. In an interview shortly thereafter, he stated that if someone robbed a liquor store, it would be okay to kill the robber with a drone.
More recently, he seems to have gotten better, and by contrast with most of the RINO’s in the Senate, he is great!
What a cesspool!
Without a majority to work with, don’t expect very many senators in the minority to get much done.
Also, Rand Paul is an independent thinker and leans farther libertarian than your basic RINO. He is not as likely to be in the middle of cutting deals and swapping votes.
He never votes for foreign aid bills.
One man like Gary Cooper in a western showdown…. all alone.
“There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.”
(General Smedley Butler, USMC).
Anyone hearing about briefings given to the House Intell committee by FBI? Getting vibes?
Something in Middle East?
I heard Turner pulled the fire alarm, but it is a potential false alarm to help panic ensue and money to be released for…Ukraine.
Ha ha.
Something going on in GOP hierarchy, things stirred up.
Good!
Nothing happens organically in DC. Consider the timing and how The Ukraine money is stalled.
Here it comes. Sorry no elections during a war.
That was my first thought. That & “Russia Russia Russia” is getting pretty old
Two weeks! 🙂
“Russia wants to put nukes in space” is the excuse du jour to send billions to Ukraine.
We live in the stupidest timeline.
People in hell want ice water. What does the IC say about whether they (Russia) can do it? And if it is near, than how did they do that with all the terrible, awful, economy racking sanctions they’ve been under the last few years? And why didn’t we spend the Ukranian money stopping that instead of killing off a generation of Ukranians.
These people make me tired.
Stop it! What the heck do you think you’re doing using LOGIC and thinking RATIONALLY?! Congress needs you to do your patriotic duty and PANIC.
Surprised they didn’t use the usual con of claiming the money’s for (blowing up) the children.
The sanctions are making us poor, not the Russians. Our electrical grid is 60s tech. None of our infrastructure has been upgraded in decades. We see about 5 cents on the dollar in actual infrastructure spending, the rest is graft into the pockets of gubmint. Look at most of our cities. They are corrupt, drug, homeless, and garbage rat infested hellholes ruled by low IQ Baby Doc wanna be’s. They are the crown jewels of leftist utopianism. I would be embarrassed to have a foreign visitor see our cities in their current state. It is shameful, but these Uniparty globalists, or whatever they are, have no shame. All they care about is protecting their political dynasties and money laundering operations at any cost.
Hahahahahahahahah…………………………
The US already did that long ago; “Operation Fishbowl” 1962
Shhhh, you’re not supposed to know your history. 😉
Laika the Russian space dog agrees with your statement.
Just heard this as part of the daily rumor mill. Take it for what it’s worth.
One of these past days, Macron was scheduled an official visit to Ukraine (Kiev) to sign some mutual security agreement between France-Ukraine. This meeting was now scrapped. Some say this was scrapped because of some discovered intelligence that an attempt was plotted on Macron’s life. Apparently they wanted to make Macron a foot shorter and blame Russia for it as escalation.
Now I do not know what they were thinking because if Russia wants to kill someone they use poison and 98% of the attempts the subject lives. 😀
Now in light of all these other people visiting Ukraine / Kiev. *shrugs* I am sure Macron did not cancel his visit for nothing. If McConnell wants to tour Ukraine maybe he should visit Adyeevka, it’s very nice this time of year ?
Anyway that was the end of the rumor mill!
adyeevka…is best place visit in this time of the year-70% surround by russian troops…with 1,100 + Ukr.soldiers killed past 24 HRS…….
Oh, yes, the McConnell-Shumer trip that is all planned out to announce the $61 billion donation from our pockets to Ukraine’s and the money laundering Senate machine.
I thought it was a couple of weeks yet, but I will correct my ideas.
Steve Bannon said they’re going over there to divide up the spoils. 10% for the big guy? What is McConnell’s cut, I wonder?
Maybe a rogue rocket will hit the mark.
Didn’t Ukraine shoot down a plane full of Ukranian prisoners of war that were going to be part of a prisoner exchange ??
Maybe another rocket can take out another plane over the war-torn skies of Ukraine….
And when this cash disappears how much will the next infusion be. Our country collapses and these clowns fly off to Ukraine to get their fair share.
Our country is indeed collapsing. FWIW, my brother, retired Chicago cop, went to his local grocery store and corned beef at the deli counter was selling for $20.00 per pound. In Chicago, a month from Paddy’s day, that’s a bonafide “kitchen table” issue. Yet Big City Dems still vote Dem??
voting?, chicago?
that ship sailed many, many decades ago
I’m actively engaged in Ben Ruiz’s Republican Primary candidacy (MAGA) for Congress, first district, Indiana. Ben has attracted support from many former, inner city Dems in Hammond, Gary and other areas of Northwest Indiana. In fact, my son attended a MAGA gathering with Ben in Chicago last Saturday. At that gathering, my son met with inner city Trump supporters and a Trump official involved in outreach to the Black/Hispanic Communities in cities throughout the country. Ben Ruiz needs our support. Any help/support from the Treehouse is appreciated – see attached website. Indiana Primary is May 7. My son and I are on the ballot for Indiana Republican, At large delegate (vote for 3 of 16 candidates) and Precinct Captain (no opposition).
https://www.ruiz4congress.com/
Hello fellow Hoosier! My husband is trying to get in as precinct committeeman here in southern Indiana. We have three RINO county councilman who were just arrested for cooking the books, so we will be actively involved in replacing them. We will see if there is a way we can help Ben! Don’t listen to the voting naysayers. They want us to put down our swords and quit fighting. It won’t happen.
Thanks Froogie. Any help is appreciated. And please spread the word regarding Ben Ruiz/MAGA/America First for the first District of Indiana. BTW, as soon as my son and I filed for the May 7 primary we were contacted by establishment Indiana Repubs who would rather appoint their own people then see Trump supporters like us get involved at the grass roots level.
Corruption is running rampant all over this country. Greed is mainly driving this and we all need to be watchful and above all trust but verify. I know, easier said than done but Damit, we can’t give up.
They will vote dem from their starving death beds. I know because I have some of these in my extended family. They will die for their glorious communism, starvation, and gulags.
May almighty God always bless the Irish along with the rest of us pitiful souls being responsible for allowing our elected to go on for such a prolonged period of debauchery. Hell has no strangers.
Then the masses will beg to be enslaved with digital currency. If they can get that much power without firing a shot on American soil, they’ll go for it.
Even if they have to kill a few hundred thousand, they’ll go for it. They view us as easily replaceable, just open the borders.
Their cash never disappears, it gets converted to hard assets or favors.
Their greed is like a sickness endemic throughout our gov. The problem is countries like China are no longer buying our treasury debt. China is using their dollars for their belt and road initiative instead. They don’t want to be held hostage with weaponized US debt notes. The last treasury sale was a disaster. This greedy inept regime will need to sell 10 trillion in bonds in 2024 due to some notes retiring this year. Experts are predicting the gov will soon be forced to make pension funds and 401k/retirement account purchase treasury notes because foreigners aren’t buying them like they once did because of weaponization. Nice job, idiots! Some of us are paying attention.
It goes right into their Swiss or Cayman Island accounts. They fly off to their mansions and leave us to clean up their ruins.
So Senator Paul disagrees with McConnell and will “fight him” on this, but….I do not see any underlying disgust motivating Rand to take that anywhere else.
After criticizing McConnell for being out of sync with his [Republican voter] base, Rand says, “If he can weather through that, fine.”
Really? Fine if he gets away with it? So, at least in this parking lot interview, Rand voices no anger nor intention of challenging McConnell’s Senate Minority Leader position because of Mitch’s abdication of his oath to uphold the Constitution. ((heavy sigh)). This is why we get jawboning but no action in the right direction.
Unlike the big bad wolf, its a lot of huff and puff from Rand but the blowing the house away never comes.
But that is politicians for you. I guess we should thank rand that he managed to postpone it by a whole day.
(Message “We don’t agree with sending 61 billion, but at least we’re sending it a day later than it would have!” Now here is my salary increase..)
Yep, disgustingly……
As the late George Carlin said, “its a big and you and I ain’t in it”. There are rules to that club and if you want to keep your membership and all the perks (regardless of continue reelection), you don’t violate the rules.
AND, the first rule of fight club is….you don’t talk about fight club.
Politics is a dirty “sport”.
Yes, hard to reconcile his blasé comments, and hopefully he may reconsider them. We don’t know what exactly is going on in his mind.
Correct, JohnnyB. We never know exactly, unless the person honestly tells us his deeply thought-out reasons and true motivations, which they usually don’t. We almost always get fed some “packaged talking points” that adhere to the Uniparty approved narratives.
Hmmm…OK Rand, right now you can’t commit to voting no for McConnell as Leader. Sort of like how you wouldn’t commit to voting no on pro-forma sessions which denied President Trump the opportunity to make recess appointments during his presidency. In case you didn’t know, Donald J. Trump is the only president in our nation’s history to not be afforded the opportunity to make these appointments!
It’s pretty obvious Rand that you aren’t in Washington to help drain the swamp. Indeed, you’re one of the turds clogging the drain!
It was unconscionable that The Turtle would not go into recess so Trump could put his people in place. Dr. Ben Carson NEVER got all his people in place. These traitors need to be tried and found guilty and put in jail.
I’m listening to our REAL President right now.
You spelled “hung by the neck until dead” wrong
That one.
Don’t judge him on what he says right now. Wait until it’s time to choose the leader, then judge him on what he does.
We judged Rand Paul for what he did.
He did nothing.
Why oh why will no one ask him that question?
I have quite a few KY customers, and they are all Conservative. They never vote for McConnell and claim none of them know another voter, other than a Liberal, that supports this guy. I think Mitch has never won any election, only selected.
I like Rand, and really like Ron Paul, as they are an example of how politicians should govern. I do take issue with Rand’s hair though. lol
He got 82% of the primary vote. Too many people are asleep at the wheel, sadly. Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll decide to retire at the end of his current term (Jan 2027).
Good all boys club down thair , don ;t ya know.
There is no reason for any US Senator or Congresscritter to go the the Ukraine, other than to steal money from US taxpayers and line their own pockets.
“Funding” Ukraine (with our tax dollars) is delaying peace talks and literally killing Ukrainians. The Ukrainian people must utterly despise Americans by now. What hatred are we sewing around the world because Americans are helpless to stop the war machine in DC?
Our government is overdue a big spanking.
There is no war in Ukraine. It’s a money laundering operation.
Both are true. To say there is no war in Ukraine is ridiculous.
Yes, people really are dying there.
rand paul has carved himself quite a unique role in the senate
he barks at this, barks at that, all the while never accomplishing anything
his entire schtick is built on a foundation of pretense
boy, he sure let fauchie
have it but good in them hearings all right
that fake dr is going to jail, blah, blah
but nowadays fauchie is grifting away on a book tour without a care
and watch kennedy closely
he’ll lift his head from the trough every month or two, long enough to quip a crowd pleasing southern accented and catchy one liner then, yep, nothing ever comes of it, and back to the trough he goes
their entire acts are orchestrated for the low iq public to make it appear something is going to be done, maybe some heads roll
but
nothing EVER comes of it, and no heads ever roll
aren’t we done with this sht yet
it’s getting EXTREMELY tiresome
The Pomeranian of the Senate? Loud and constant yipping but no bite.
rand paul is not a friend of freedom, he’s an ennemy of freedom
same goes for the other 434
we’d be better off having a congress run by plumbers and carpenters
Now there’s an idea to behold.
Gulag: Perfect description.
He voted against the funding bill that just passed. He’s not all bad.
sigh,
and the hill gets steeper…
Every vote counts.
It’s like WWF wrestling where the outcome is always pre-decided.
Did ya’ll just hear about the grave national security threat involving Russia, Russia, Russia that REEEEpublicans just leaked? Sounds like Putin had weapons of mass destruction that he used to blow up the USS Maine in the Gulf of Tonkin after he left Iraqi babies to die on hospital floors!
I reckon Joe Biden running out of Cheetos for breakfast is the graver domestic security threat, yet profoundly ignored.
I doubt he will be around for Memorial Day, or the 4th at best.
Stupid is finished working a while back.
Russian Ballistic “Double Tap” Missile Strike with cluster munitions kills 1,500 Ukrainian soldiers
SITREP 2/13/24: Avdeevka Turns Critical as Iskander Strike Devastates AFU Staging Area
Today, two devastating missile strikes occurred on Ukrainian troop concentrations. The first was a massive Iskander-M ballistic missile attack on precisely one of the ‘rear staging areas’ less than 30km from Avdeevka, in a town called Selidovo.
Sources began reporting that there were as high as 1,500 Ukrainian casualties because the Russian attack allegedly “triple-tapped” them by first hitting the gathering, then waiting until evacuation- rescue forces arrived and hitting them again—and most notably, some believe it was precisely the ‘Azov’ units that were there.
Even the top pro-UA accounts reported the potential for 1,500 casualties at once.
“Our source in the General Staff reported that Syrsky has ordered to suppress any information about losses at the training ground in Salidovo, the city was the main transit base for the reserves of the UAF, which were being gathered to unblock Avdeevka.”
All kinds of reports flooded in from both sides, with one of the common themes between the two being that the entire city was locked down, with SBU allegedly searching for infiltrators who might have transmitted the data about the gathering.
Ex-Aidar deputy commander Ihor Mosiychuk once more confirmed the news from his sources.
He mentions something corroborated in Russian reports: that Iskanders with cluster munitions were allegedly used on the troop gathering.
Another huge breakthrough has occurred in Avdeevka that may have put the final nail in the coffin of the bitterly disputed town. Though Avdeevka is smaller than Bakhmut, Mariupol, and many other captured towns, it actually—in some ways—represents a crowning offensive achievement of the war because it has been fought for continuously the longest, and as a consequence, was the most fortified of any town.

Those Congress critters really wants their cut of the Ukraine laundromat!
I can’t help but note that in the comments here Rand Paul is being criticized and belittled more than is Mitch McConnel.
Good thing Donald Trump is wiser than this.
Rand is catching some flak. In my view actions speak louder than words.
Do not judge a person by their words but by their actions — what they do.
McConnell just told everybody straight up he’s going to *** them over.. and then did it.
Rand Paul SAID he would stand in the way — proceeded to talk a bunch — and then proceeded to let everyone get ***ed over without any accountability… albeit 24 hours later
Neither is a gold star performance, but Rand did worse in this instance
Didn’t think I needed to mention how much I hate Cocaine Turtle.
Thought that was a given for all readers here.
The article is about Rand Paul. He is the subject matter.
I’m sitting here shaking my head. What he says is true. The base voters don’t support sending more money overseas when we have serious problems here in this country.
All for BlackRock and the MIC companies they own, for Congressional grifters and the destruction of the US.
Angela Chao, the sister-in-law of Senator Mitch McConnell has been killed in a car accident.
NY Post
https://nypost.com/2024/02/14/business/angela-chao-mitch-mcconnells-sister-in-law-dies-in-car-accident-age-50/
Does this get brushed under the rug as an example of Asians being bad drivers or is this driving your Tesla into a pond is like taking a bath with your toaster?
God works in mysterious ways.
Was Mitch driving…?
Given that she drowned, it may have been Ted Kennedy.
backed a Tesla into a pond down in Texas
Was the local car wash closed ??
Too much Saki can do strange things to one’s mind, or was this a warning shot?
We were not that lucky.
Attend sister in law’s funeral?
Or go to Ukraine to plot and pocket?
Life is full of difficult choices.
Decided to travel to a safer terra Ferma.
Sorry….Turtle has some personal overseas financial business to attend to…
House occupant Mike Turner who calls himself the Intelligence Chairman, says all members of Congress have access to info on “a serious national security threat.”
He is requesting the installed occupant in the White House “declassify all information relating to this threat so that Congress, the Administration, and our allies can openly discuss the actions necessary to respond to this threat”
If the Russians had “Space Nuks” they would have had them for many decades.
Perhaps the media’s beloved 51 intel experts can tell us?
EMP Burst attack from Putin?
EMP from US deep state to cover up the trillions they stole from us, then blame Russia for it and no elections this year (or ever again) as the country descends into chaos. Makes sense from a deep state point of view. Kill two birds with one stone.
So they can print another 100 trillion dollars for themselves… ROTF. This shit isn’t going to end until the dollar completely collapses or the 80+ year old career politicians croak.
The money launderers in DC are understandably nervous that Ukraine will continue to fill their “secret” pockets at the expected rate.
The turtle has done his part of the corrupt bargain, so now it is off to the Ukraine to pick up his payment…
Mitch just wants to check in on his investment portfolio in Ukraine. He’s made a killing already.
bah-dum-bum
I”m here all week.
He’s holding back. It’s not that the GOP Senators prefer defending Ukraine’s border over defending our border. It’s that they prefer lining their pockets with money-laundered funds and protecting whatever the eff they’re hiding in Ukraine. (bioweapons labs?)
They never have to answer the obvious question: How many more wars do you have to lose? They’re at least 0-3 since 2001.
Mcconnell can barely function
If Zelenskeyy calls Turtle up to the podium to say a few words, maybe he will freeze up for good this time…
These greedy selfish subhumans would fk us over from the grave if they could.
I don’t see any evs in that parking lot.
Amazing that our leaders continue to do the bidding for the countries that hate us because of the blackmail they suffer due to their disgusting acts with children.
Nothing changes until these sub humans pay the price.
Bottom line their self importance knows no boundary.. They will never be held responsible for spending the US taxpayer into insolvency until it effects their personal wealth.. By the time that happens they will be dead and their great grand children will be tyrants with entitlement issues
May he not return.
as….LA ?????
We can pray for his plane to get shot down.
It’s funny … the older I get … the less warlike I get. McConnell is far older than I am … so where’s his elder-perspective on the utter insanity of pointless wars that just get 100’s of thousands killed or maimed? Where’s his gray-wisdom? If you don’t mellow-out with age … there’s something functionally WRONG with your brain.
Sorry … but I say send Mitch and his ENTIRE family to the front lines. All of em.
Wrong color, his wisdom is green.
You must understand McConnell and his cohorts are like scrooge McDuck. There is never enough money in his money bin.
USA needs automatic processes to insure our country is not held captive by 75+ year old electeds in physical decline.
Diane Feinstein seemed to have lost capacity at the end.
He how will not be named held his seat through his death, depriving the people of Arizona of representation. People to the elected: it’s not your seat. It’s always been the people’s seat.
The Executive must be a vigorous man or woman. In the absence of vigor, there’s no shame in quiet, raw competence, such as outgoing President of Taiwan: Tsai Ing Wen. Broadly capable, western educated, well mannered. Asia does not produce this type of female political leader, so Tsai Ing Wen has earned her place in history. China has no such woman in high rank who is smoothly welcome on the world stage. The Bat Lady caused many countries to want to pull up their welcome mat to other bat lady wannabes.
All religions exist in Taiwan and there’s broad toleration among society (monoculture helps). We don’t even have that in the USA now.
Sure seems like McConnell’s idiotic claim about Uraine being our most important priority right now (maybe “foreign priority,” but either way, it sounds tone deaf to the max). I’m sure it’s very pleasant for you, MM, in your KY mansion (do you only have ONE? How uncouth!) with rents going up practically daily (thanks goodness for a mortgage for a fixed/reasonable amt, but we spent enough time at the whims of the landlord class to have plenty of sympathy for renters….)
Too bad he (MM) doesn’t display the same kind of gonads when talking to the press as when he is using words to demolish/insult his constituants as he does when casually remarking that nothing is more important than putting $ into the pockets of Ukranian oligarchs. (For that matter, too bad the new left isn’t like the old left who weren’t afraid to take a stand against foreign wars, warfare for the corporate interests, and “old men” sending “young men” to war as the old(er) left used to. It would be laughable if not so sad, watching the 21st century left promote warfare (of course, we don’t see many of them actually signing up to go fight for the interest of zuckerberg, cheney, the bushs, the pelosi clan, etc.
But they talk every bit as big as those “bankers,” as they used to call anyone who was for fighting in vietnam during the 60s….quite the opposite now, they seem to think that posting a Urkanian flag on their x acct is enough to show their bona fides
But bad as they are, they’re still not as bad as McConnell (was there ever a character called the Mumbler, back in the tv version of Batman? ‘Cos they wouldn’t have to look for for the perfect character actor.) Anyway, good for Paul. MM is an embarrassment to us all.
I do recall a “Mumbles” character from the Dick Tracy comic strip.
And…. Mike Turner just happened to be in Ukraine with Zelensky last weekend……
Turner is a war pig!
Deleted…wrong thread.
He is a CCP puppet selling out America at every turn
mcconnell is a CCP puppet selling out America at every turn with his buddies buyden and mittens
Eventually the DC establishment is going to bring enough pressure on Speaker Johnson to bring the Ukraine aid bill to the House floor for a vote. And it will pass. Half the Republicans will vote to pass it. Yipee, lots of cash for the kick-backs to all the swamp politicos and Deep State bureaucrats.
Better not happen.
I trust Rand will be a bit more focused direction this time around if Trump is allowed to become POTUS……….as in immediate senate recess?
C-SPAN has the video of the Monday night session to debate and then vote on Senate Amendment #1388 to HR 815. Rand Paul delivered an excellent statement. You can watch it if you go to the sidebar at the link below and look for “Sen Paul on Opposition to the Foreign Aid Bill”. JD Vance also did very well until he read a Dr Seuss story to his kids. 🙂

Ted Cruz read a Dr. Seuss bedtime story to his girls during his filibuster about ten years ago. Maybe JD Vance was making it a tradition.
I’m curious how the same people vote for Rand and McConAll. Of course McConAll has been since 1985, but Rand since 2011. Meaning Rand has had 3 senate elections, 2010, 2016, and 2022. The same people during that time (Rand’s elections) have voted for McConAll at least 3 times too. McConAll probably brings home lots of bacon……and people vote for Rand on principle?
