According to the New York Times, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel will exit from her position as head of the RNC immediately following the South Carolina primary.
The RNC has been a source of anxiety for most MAGA voters due to multiple issues, including the lack of effort on ballot harvesting and voter integrity initiatives. In multiple states and multiple races, there isn’t even a Republican candidate challenging the incumbent Democrat. That’s also a problem.
(New York Times) – The chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, has told former President Donald J. Trump she is planning to step down shortly after the South Carolina primary on Feb. 24, according to two people familiar with the plans.
Mr. Trump is then likely to promote the chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, Michael Whatley, as her replacement, according to several people familiar with the discussions. Under the arcana of the committee’s rules, however, Mr. Trump cannot simply install someone. A new election must take place, and Mr. Whatley could face internal party dissent.
Ms. McDaniel has faced months of pressure, a campaign from Trump-allied forces to unseat her and growing dissatisfaction and anxiety in the Trump camp about the strained finances of the R.N.C. as the general election cycle begins early.
Mr. Trump likes Mr. Whatley for one overwhelming reason, according to people who have discussed him with the former president: He is “a stop the steal guy,” as one of the people described him. (read more)

Whatley was on the Bush 2000 Florida Recount and Transition Team. I was on the ground on the inside when this war was waged. I will say that during that battle, the GOP took no prisoners. GOP flew in lawyers on private jets for 24 hours. The state was blanketed with GOP killers. Every county count was observed. Every vote was contested. When the Dems in Broward County tried to lock the GOP observers out, the GOP folks (mostly Cuban) rioted in the hallway and forced their way in.

Deep State is working overtime to ensure Republicans won’t control Congress when Trump gets back into office. This time vote counting will extend days and weeks after the election for razor-thin Congressional races, leaving the balance of power in the two chambers up in the air. I actually believe Trump will be declared victor relatively early, maybe on election night.

Bingo. I think the Senate and House races are more important almost than the Presidential election. If Trump gets in with no majority in at least one branch, he will be neutralized more than he was the first time and harassed 24/7. They want MAGA to concentrate on the Trump campaign while they take the other two branches either legitimately or more likely with stolen election races. Most states have done little with needed election reforms. Mail in ballots are still in place everywhere. One day voting and ID to prove citizenship are nowhere near being in every state. No votes counted after Election Day not on anyone’s radar. So the chances of manipulations in the Congressional races is very high. Remember the red wave? The theme was pushed and the Dems pushed it to deflect from the fact they were all in on the important races in AZ, PA and GA. They got what they wanted and laughed about the rest knowing they could compromise any race they wanted. Beware the same thing this year. Work hard to get people out to vote and to vote straight Republican no matter how ugly it might be because if we do not hold the House and try hard to take the Senate, it matters little in the end if PTrump wins because he will have no power to do much of anything. Just watched a short warroom segment where he described her accomplishments – impressive!
She fought in court to succesfully argue the State legislature did not have the authority to make mass mail out ballots permanent, without having voters vote fir it in two elections, as it changes State Constitution.
Bottom line Deleware will not have mail out ballots in 2024.
She is currently Deleware R party State Chair.
