In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.

Ronna Romney is busy with those fundraising txt messages! I’ve gotten like 6 today all of a sudden 🤣🚩
Ronna needs a new pair of lips.
Well, maybe Taylor Swift can refer her to a cosmetologist? Or make up artist?
but taylor swift is an egg sucking dem. although sometimes i think ronna is too.
The RNC is spending a fortune on lip fillers instead of MAGA candidates.
Well, well, well. I wonder why that is?
It’s called “Lip Service”!
And phone calls. I’ve gotten text and phone calls. She’s trying to put back some of that money before Trump takes over the RNC and replace her.
I’d rather donate to Alyssa Milano’s GoFundMe page (for son’s baseball trip) before wasting a penny to RNC.
Alyssa Milano sparks criticism after seeking donations to son’s baseball team

Amen!
LA to Cooperstown, for one person, let alone a whole baseball team, is a small fortune for many.
Or Mary Lou Retton’s dubious medical bills fund.
Yeah….there’s been articles about all the extravagant expenses by the RNC.
“the Republican National Committee has paid the legal fees of Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel but not of the rank-and-file members of the RNC who participated in the plan she personally approved, “cleared” with RNC legal, directed RNC staff to carry out, and communicated the success of to President Trump.””
She obviously needs more fresh flowers!
Limo rides, too.
Yes, they have not spent enough on flowers. haha I have a very small flower budget hence mine are all fake.
Blue State Blues: The Israeli Pilgrimage of Argentina’s Javier Milei
Argentinian President Javier Milei is due to arrive in Israel on Tuesday.
This is big.
-Feb 2 2024
Normally, the arrival of a foreign leader in Israel — other than the U.S. president, or an Arab head of state — is not particularly newsworthy.
There has been a long parade of presidents, prime ministers, and foreign ministers visiting Israel to show solidarity in the wake of the October 7 terror attack.
Some lead governments whose policies are not actually helpful; they want to empathize with victims, but not to fight terrorists.
Milei is different — in every way.
His support for Israel is rock-solid; he even campaigned for the presidency while waving an Israeli flag.

“Judging by investments into the exercise by left-wing groups, it’s an expensive mission.”
Ronna McRomney is busy spending money on herself, friends, family & business associates. Just look at the latest numbers published for the GOTV R v. D
“but it remains to be seen what coordination, if any, they or smaller groups will receive from the RNC”
I am guessing they will get No help, which might not be a bad thing.
They have to embrace it if they want to win. Because that is what the left wing do. They know who has the ballots and who has not voted. So they call to get that person come vote. And if someone needs a ride to the polls, someone will go get them. It’s what the GOP used to call Get Out The Vote GOTV. It looks like Rona has been sliding in that effort.
I don’t know for sure but I suspect pusuing that kind of voter and ballot is small ball
What I think is larger is Democrat control of the voter rolls
They can print off a ballot for each dead person and infrequent-to-never voter and vote all those ballots Democrat
And then deliver them at 3am in white vans at the loading docks of the vote-counting centers
GOP is always fighting the last war
thoughts and prayers up to all the sand dunes outside of Iran that are gonna get bombed this weekend.
The truth of your post made me laugh.

Mike Lee wrote in his tweet above, “There’s no universe in which those things will happen by next week”.
Yes, there is, Mike. In a CORRUPT universe, these things happen all the time.
And our Government and both Parties are VERY corrupt.
That whole tweet is a must read.
Agree, Zephyr. Interesting to hear a senator outline publicly that there IS a Uniparty (i.e., “The Firm TM”) and how it works.
Mike continues to be Based. And he is totally right.
Mike has screwed us plenty.
The stock market closed strongly on its week end. There was a “Blow-off top” configuration Wednesday with an 80% probability trade. It is why as a position trader I use “break-even” stops. I want to be around for my next stock market entry signal.
Right now, I am emotionally favoring the sell-side of the market. However, I will wait until I get a “technical” indication with an 80% probability before I commit.
Let us know the moment that you do.
The “technicals” are being deliberately manipulated by Powell and Yellen not to mention the fake BLS Labor reports. They can’t have the stock market roaring now and peak too soon. It can’t peak until late Summer and early Fall in order to save Biden and saving Biden is their only concern!
I care less whether a “Technical” is rigged or not. To me it is like a traffic light. I careless how a traffic light is “rigged”. When the traffic light turns red, I stop and when it turns green, I go. What else is there to “think” about?
I like how Trump said, it’s because he is going to win. Which, made the media, open their mouths about it.
Yes, now when the market goes up people will think it is because of Trump and when the market goes down it is because of Biden. Trump owns an up market and Biden owns a down market. …easy peasy.
We know Ukraine did not do this…..
Nulands surprise?
For the first time in the history of world wars, a group strike by naval drones guided by a space satellite destroyed a warship that was sailing on the high seas in full combat readiness. On February 1, 2024, maritime drones of the Group 13 unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Project 12411 missile corvette in the Black Sea near a protected naval base on Lake Donuzlav in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Is that part of our Space Force? Or something that existed before Trump created the Space Force?
Space Force most likely
By using of a small number of satellites you can obtain enough targeting data to annihilate a surface ship pretty much anywhere in the world.
Example: Imaging accuracy of less than 1m:
“We’re enabling millimeter-level change detection that lets you see things from space you can’t even see standing on the ground.”https://www.iceye.com/persistent-monitoring
Since Ukraine has no satellites I can only assume they used American satellites for their targeting.
Then add on a few kamikaze drones.
Our fleet in the Red sea is so vulnerable now. All are in drone or missile range. The only responsible thing to do is get them out of there.
We have B1B bombers stationed in England right now. Use them to hit targets in the Middle East if that’s what they want to do.
I concur but it’s a two way street with satellite imagery. I have zero doubt our CSG’s have constant satellite and also AWACs up that would spot these things a hundred miles away.
The Russians and a lone missile cruiser the size of one of our Coast Guard cutters? Not so much. As far as I can tell the only anti-air missiles that thing carried were MANPADS, although it appears the drone boats were the main cause of damage. Bad gunnery\no radar\drunk crew? have consequences.
Didn’t the US Navy shoot down an Iranian commercial aircraft in the 90s? Or, was it Iraqi? I can’t remember, but their barely was an apology or a response about it.
Is this also how the CIA had the POW plane shot down, to keep Endless War Alive?
The CIA/FBI need to be utterly destroyed. No one she be allowed to operate the US military as its own private mercenaries!

anyone seen any news on whether the TX and other NG’s have started expanding the barriers beyond the camera view of eagle pass?
Yup, sure have.
Of course President Trump built many miles of Border Walls including those in Texas.
You mentioned “beyond the camera view of eagle pass?” …..
The Texas military operation which includes national guard, Texas Rangers, Department of Public Safety, etc. have / are closing other major crossing points, but you may be missing the real impact of the Eagle Pass Texas Military Operation if you only concentrate on new border miles in Texas……
If you are looking at the blocking operation at Eagle Pass, you will see one of the many real success stories from Texas. You will see that just closing that one major entry point has already moved the tidal wave of successful invaders to the west, outside of Texas’ border. There is no doubt Texas remains the hot spot of attempts of illegal invaders, so work must continue since the invaders will always be looking for weak points. Texas welcomes the help being sent from the other patriotic states.

Illegal border crossings shift from Texas to California and Arizona, CBP says

Since he appears to be quite sane, that leaves two possibilities.
Either he said this as part of a psyop, and his claims are intended to produce a belief or reaction in the target audience (i.e. foreign actors or DC domestic operatives)
Or
The claims are real and he received authorization from a certain someone to begin a soft reveal.
My sense is that it is the latter, but I’m open to contrary viewpoints.
What claims did he make?
That energy technology exists that will enable the country that controls and uses it to shape the future of the entire world; that the technology exists to allow the transport of a person from any point on earth to any other point on earth in under an hour; that the technology exists to allow you to trickle charge your phone from space, no plugging in to a socket necessary.
Here is the Imprimis article derived from his Hillsdale speech.
https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/urgent-need-united-states-space-force/
It makes more generalized but consistent claims about the available technology and the importance of control over the Space battlefield.
With regards to “charge[ing] your phone from space”, do a Wikipedia search for “Wireless power transfer”.
Be sure to check the dates in the History section. This is nothing new.
The Jetsons are really giving the Simpsons, a run on the money, as the most prophetic cartoon written.
I just did a news search on “DeSantis” to see what gaslighting his remaining donors are throwing our way. In the Sarasota Herald-Tribune is an opinion piece by Jake Hoffman who is “executive director of the Tampa Bay Young Republicans and the CEO of Invasion Digital Media.” I looked up that business and discovered that the HQ is an apartment in an apartment building. 🙂 Anyway the guy is still optimistic that DeSantis will one day be President. I hate to break it to him, but it’s never going to happen.
DeSantis has a timing problem now. His second Governor term expires in January 2027. Unless the Florida legislature manages to change the term limits so he can run for a third consecutive term or he runs for some other state position (which would be beneath him, of course, after being Governor), or he runs for the US Senate if there’s an opening in 2026, he’ll be out of political office.
Running or being in a Florida state political office was tremendously financially advantageous to him due to Florida’s lax campaign finance rules. Unlimited donations! THIS is why he ran for Governor, Sundance called him out prior. He did it to raise his profile and amass a huge pile of money to use for his presidential run even though the FEC technically disallows transferring state campaign money to federal campaigns.
If he runs for a US Senate spot he won’t be able to rake in unlimited cash, so I assume he won’t do that.
It will be interesting to see what he does.
This is pretty funny. Per New York Times. It’s actually a good read.
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/01/us/politics/ron-desantis-money-trump.html
It cost more than $160 million for Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida to come in second place in a single nominating contest.
That astounding sum makes Mr. DeSantis’s failed presidential bid among the most expensive in modern Republican primary elections. But the details of where the money went, laid out in filings to the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday, show just how free-spending Mr. DeSantis and his allied super PACs were.
They directed at least $53 million through firms controlled or owned by Jeff Roe, the powerful Republican strategist who served as the top adviser to Never Back Down, Mr. DeSantis’s main super PAC.
They spent $31.3 million on television advertising time.
They spent at least $3.3 million on private airfare, between the campaign and Never Back Down.
And they donated roughly $110,000 to the campaigns of state and federal elected officials who had endorsed Mr. DeSantis.
All for 23,420 votes in Iowa.
:
Mr. DeSantis’s bid, and its collapse, stand out for their scale. Aside from Mr. Trump, no other candidate entered the race with more financial support, more hype or higher poll numbers.
Who would spend $160 million to get a job paying $400,000 a year? LOL
Hahaha!!

MSNBC sent a reporter to a black barbershop and one of the guests said “a lot” of his friends are voting for Trump
“We’re broke with Biden… we weren’t with Trump”
“With Trump, we had money”
I always thought the downfall would be the reality of life under Obama v Trump v what JoeBama would do – people feel it with their pocket books. A lot of these voters were coming out of college at the end of Obama. They saw how good their jobs and economy was with Trump compared to Obama. Then they saw how it changed with JoeBama.
The differences are real to real people.
I think a lot about homebuyers, especially people who who are first time homebuyers. The mortgage rates are more than double what they were when Trump was President. That has a huge impact on what you can afford to borrow. Plus inflation is chewing up more of people’s paychecks leaving less for mortgage payments. Total disaster.
I think in all social media that we visit we MUST post real examples of the impact of the high mortgage rates and inflation. Find some or calculate your own. A person who doesn’t own a home yet but who is thinking about buying one needs to understand what the monthly payment will be at 7.5%. It’s hard enough for young people to accumulate $$$ for a 20% down payment. As for daily living, a CBS article says this:
The typical American household must spend an additional $11,434 annually just to maintain the same standard of living they enjoyed in January of 2021, right before inflation soared to 40-year highs, according to a recent analysis of government data.
That’s a lot of money to average people. It means not taking a vacation, not doing a home renovation, not buying a car, etc. Hammer this home to everyone you can spread the message to.
Absolutely. $950.00 less money per month is a tremendous amount of money for the vast majority of Americans.
“I think a lot about homebuyers, especially people who who are first time homebuyers. The mortgage rates are more than double what they were when Trump was President.”
I am semi-retired, and have been house hunting for some time here in NE Ohio. In just the past few years, if you want to buy a home now, it’s not just the mortgage rates that have doubled. The price of houses themselves have doubled or even tripled, too — and most aren’t worth it. The interior of everything on the market is painted (ugh) 50 Shades of Gray, with gray counters, gray walls, and gray distressed vinyl flooring. It’s like living in a clinic… And there is still low inventory, so you end up in bidding wars for the few overpriced houses on the market.
Here in NE Ohio, it’s slowing a little from 2-3 years ago. A few overpriced houses are sitting on the market longer, allowing more for inspections and contingencies, and lowering prices a bit, but not much. Even the fixer uppers are overpriced — or they get picked up by contractors (or institutional buyers who advertise on TV) before they hit the market. It’s very hard to find the lower priced “as-is” houses, bank-owned, estate sales, or fixer-uppers.
And the Sheriff Sale foreclosures (which don’t allow for walking inside or inspections) that used to have bargains don’t anymore. When they readjusted the tax and appraisal rates at the peak of the market, now those houses are appraised at those high rates, based only on what houses in that area are going for, and on external “inspection.” (All the systems and copper could be stripped out.) So opening bid is 2/3 of top price, which is often more than comparable houses on the MLS – and still way too high.
And rents have soared in the past few years as well. It used to be that you could find cheaper rent as you waited out a hot housing market. But now, landlords have jacked up rents all over — even in the sketchier or lower income areas. (My rent, which usually increased $10-20/yr., went up $70 in a recent increase.) So a lot of homeowners who would like to move or downsize are sitting in place, because although they can sell higher, they are concerned that they won’t find anything affordable — and they don’t want to trade a 2% mortgage for 7-8%. So the housing market is frozen.
I don’t know what the answer is. Greed seems to be a big factor with selling and renting — no one wants to miss out on raking in big dollars. I can’t blame them, especially with inflation, and everything else costing so much. There seems to be no incentive for anyone to lower rents or home prices as long as they can gouge everyone, and everyone else is doing it.
I think about “It’s A Wonderful Life,” and how Mr. Potter could charge the earth for his shoddy houses because he owned everything — until the Bailey Building and Loan came along, and built nice affordable homes for the middle class/working class folks without making a huge fortune. There are groups like Habitat for Humanity — most of those type of things require you to be almost destitute with no savings. Or when our city or county talk about zoning an area for “affordable housing,” it’s either Section 8, where most of us would not be poor enough, or it turns out to be just as expensive as all the other overpriced homes or condos.
I hate to suggest government solutions, because they usually make things worse. But I’m thinking about how cities that want to encourage people to buy homes in former slum areas that are being redeveloped into hip and trendy urban spots often give tax abatements or other tax incentives for say, 10 years, to get working professionals to buy and settle there. Or HUD sells homes really cheap in revitalized areas to teachers, law enforcement, EMTs, etc. Just wondering if there is a way to apply that principle of tax credits or something to rewarding landlords or sellers who make their prices more affordable. Just blueskying here, but I just don’t see these high housing prices as sustainable — and yet, it doesn’t seem like they are going back down without either a crash or some widespread incentive.
Ugh, your rent went up $70/month? Along with groceries and everything else being more expensive. It’s disgusting, and Biden’s puppeteers do not care. I swear Democrats want the middle class to become destitute.
My property taxes went up $150/month.
Lots of rumors and gossip, start and end at the barbershop. Which is why, during covid, they were the first and last to close and open.

Mike Lee
@BasedMikeLee
Earlier today, a reporter standing outside the Senate chamber told me that, after four months of secrecy,
plans to release the text of the $106 billion supplemental aid / border-security package—possibly as soon as tomorrow. Wasting no time, she then asked, “if you get the bill by tomorrow, will you be ready to vote on it by Tuesday?” The words “hell no” escaped my mouth before I could stop them. Those are strong words where I come from. (Sorry, Mom). The reporter immediately understood that my frustration was not directed at her.
Rather, it was directed at the Law Firm of Schumer & McConnell (“The Firm, which is perpetually trying to normalize a corrupt approach to legislating—in which The Firm
(1) spends months drafting legislation in complete secrecy,
(2) aggressively markets that legislation based not on its details and practical implications (good and bad), but only on its broadest, least-controversial objectives,
(3) lets members see bill text for the first time only a few days (sometimes a few hours) before an arbitrary deadline imposed by The Firm itself, always with a contrived sense of urgency, and then
(4) forces a vote on the legislation on or before that deadline, denying senators any real opportunity to read, digest, and debate the measure on its merits, much less introduce, consider, and vote on amendments to fix any perceived problems with the bill or otherwise improve it.
Whenever The Firm engages in this practice, it largely excludes nearly every senator from the constitutionally prescribed process in which all senators are supposed to participate. By so doing, The Firm effectively disenfranchises hundreds of millions of Americans—at least for purposes relevant to the legislation at hand—and that’s tragic.
It’s also unAmerican, uncivil, uncollegial, and really uncool.
So why does The Firm do it? Every time The Firm utilizes this approach and the bill passes—and it nearly always does—The Firm becomes more powerful.
The high success rate is largely attributable to the fact that The Firm has become very adept at
(a) enlisting the help of the (freakishly cooperative) news media,
(b) exerting peer pressure in a way that makes what you experienced in middle school look mild by comparison, and
(c) rewarding those who consistently vote with The Firm with various privileges that The Firm is uniquely capable of offering (committee assignments, help with campaign fundraising, and a whole host of other widely coveted things that The Firm is free to distribute in any manner it pleases).
It’s through this process that The Firm passes most major spending legislation. It’s through this process that The Firm likely intends to pass the still-secret, $106 billion supplemental aid / border-security package,
which The Firm has spent four months negotiating, with the luxury of obsessing over every sentence, word, period, and comma. I still don’t know exactly what’s in this bill, although I have serious concerns with it based on the few details The Firm has been willing to share. But under no circumstances should this bill — which would fund military operations in three distant parts of the world and make massive, permanent changes to immigration law — be passed next week.
Nor should it be passed until we have had adequate time to read the bill, discuss it with constituents, debate it, offer amendments, and vote on those amendments. There’s no universe in which those things will happen by next week. Depending on how long it is and the complexity of its provisions, the minimum period of time we should devote to this bill after it’s released should be measured in weeks or months, not days or hours. Please share this if you agree.

So I am Listening to FOX News and Jennifer Griffin is giving a rundown of targets that she knows the US is going to strike. Telling the world what type of planes, helicopters, ships, space force, etc. etc. will be used. Hell, it sounds like they may as well be giving the exact coordinates.
What is the purpose of Military Personnel telling the enemy where we are we are going to strike, the type of weapons, and the delivery systems in place in the region? Obviously this is a rhetorical question. Talk about Kabuki Theatre.
Yep. Meanwhile, cruise missiles continue to target ships in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea. Also, American destroyer needed CWIS to defeat a Houti missile. That’s one missile. Imagine dozens flying at an American carrier.

Theatre Professor Beth Osnes (pictured), who also teaches environmental studies classes, became “increasingly discouraged about the perilous state of our planet,” according to Colorado Public Radio. Her despair came while “she began doing research for one of her classes, Creative Climate Communication.”
“I started to get that terrible ooze feeling, that comes in like a sickness that you get from despair. It was like swallowing crude oil or something,” Osnes told the news station. “Just the knowledge of what’s happening to our planet, it feels almost disabling. It almost puts your heart on the ground. And we can’t address the climate crisis if our hearts are on the ground.”
“In fact, the emotions that Osnes is describing — feeling helpless and despair around the climate crisis — have a name: climate anxiety,” CPR reported.
And the skintight bodysuit … was just worn for … accuracy. Perv.
Our country would benefit enormously by deporting all women who don’t stop playing dress up by age 21.
Pussy hats, red cloaks, white suits at SOTU, and on and on.
Enough already.
She’s a THEATER professor! “Costumes” are second nature …
Eyes Wide Shut costume? Or does her liberal mental illness delusions make her think every day is Halloween?
Yes, I can see where this is entirely legit!
Like that gal who invented the new way of herding cattle through the stockyard for the slaughter – she devised a way to put them at ease, using her own experience as an autistic person
(that’s the bummer part of THAT story, putting the cattle at ease but then you know what happens after that)
Question: Does the Professor get paid to dress in her butterfly outfit and does this increase the tuition?
Temple Grandin (the gal to whom I was referring)
When the animal is at ease, when slaughtered, the meat is more tender and tastes better, due to less adrenaline. Her innovations, with livestock handling, are used throughout the western world.
.
Looks like E. Jean Carroll just came out of the cocoon . . .
That is one effective butterfly all right, but not in a good way!
Maybe she should take some science classes.
In the “Stupidity” category:
An informed source reported to RIA Novosti that the UK is proposing a plan to NATO allies to send an expeditionary corps to Ukraine and establish a no-fly zone over the territory controlled by Ukraine.
The preparation for such a scenario is expected to be completed by May, 2024. The plan is to discreetly deploy large, highly maneuverable NATO forces from the border regions of Romania and Poland to Ukraine to take defensive positions of the right bank of the Dnieper.
A preemptive strike by the armed forces of Moldova and Romania on Transnistria is not ruled out.
To “dissipate” Russian forces and resources, NATO forces and armies of certain NATO members could be deployed in the territory of Norway and Finland.
Simultaneous attacks may be carried out on strategic infrastructure in northern regions of Russia.
According to the British plan, following this, NATO forces would create a “buffer zone” within the occupied positions, including the border with Belarus and the territory around Kiev, while the freed-up Ukrainian armed forces would move into the western region.
These people still think that anyone(!) believes they actually know anything about Real War, and that they possess any credible military capability at all.
NATO has de-evolved into a lucrative customer for military industrialists. But one that has never actually fought a Real War. I do not recommended thinking about doing so now: it would be extremely embarrassing. 🤡
Just go buy something, instead. THAT’S what you’re good at.

His wife is running for the NJ Senate seat of the very criminal Bob Menendez, yet they never kicked out Menendez for his numerous corruption/crimes but they kicked out George Santos speedily over ACCUSATIONS! Let that sink in. What are they scared of?
Larry Johnson has given an excellent video about the US air strikes.
It’s all a sham, a fake. It’s supposed to fool you into thinking that Biden is getting tough and doing something. But we warned Iran what we were doing, gave them a few days to move their equipment and troops.

If none of you have yet seen the interview of Bret Weinstein with Tucker. You really need to spend the time. Watch it 3x if you need to. Something absolutely sinister is occurring.
Excellent video. Very concerning though. The plot to own the world is in full swing it seems,
I watched it and it’s well worth the time spent. I highly recommend it. Very well presented…
Sundance posted a separate thread about that and there is probably good conversation there.
I hate to bring this here but I know that some of you also visit CFP. Just want you to know, if you don’t see me there anymore, it’s not that I don’t want to visit, it’s that Kane doesn’t want me to visit. For what I don’t know.

“The SEC Oversteps its Powers on Climate Change”
Excerpts:
As detailed at Climate Realism, Climate at a Glance, and Climate Change Weekly, there is no evidence that extreme weather events are becoming more frequent or severe; not hurricanes, floods, droughts, nor wildfires. Seas are rising, but no faster than their historic norm since the end of the last ice age. Even the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says that it can’t detect, with high confidence, trends in extreme weather resulting from ongoing climate change, nor can it attribute any such events or trends to human actions, with high confidence
If data doesn’t show climate change is making weather worse, and the IPCC can’t find such a signal, how can any individual company be expected to determine that at some point in the future “climate change” will “materially affect” its operations.
The SEC can’t force companies to do on its behalf, what it has no authority to directly do itself.
No state has the right to force companies to take climate change seriously or advance the state’s concerns about climate change.

FEB 02 2024 –
NYC launches $53M program to hand out pre-paid credit cards to migrant families
The $53 million pilot program, run by the New Jersey company Mobility Capital Finance, will provide asylum seekers arriving at the Roosevelt Hotel with the city cash to help them buy food, according to city records.
It’ll start with a group of 500 migrant families in short-term hotel stays and will replace the current food service offered there, according to City Hall.
The cards can only be used at bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores — and migrants must sign an affidavit swearing they will only spend the funds on food and baby supplies or they will be kicked out of the program.
The Immediate Response Card initiative appears akin to the state’s food stamp program, dubbed SNAP, which provides lower-income New Yorkers with a credit card to cover the cost of meals, and will provide funds based on the same scale.
The amount on each card will vary depending on the size of the family and whether any income is coming in, according to the details of the contract. A family of four, for instance, could be provided nearly $1,000 each month, which comes out to $35 per day for food.
Cards will get refilled every 28 days.

Apparently Brannon is moving his show off the Lindell Network and onto his own onlin eplatform. Said he and Mike are still friends and have no beef, so don’t make one.
BTW, I don’t know about anyone else but it was very jarring to get up and see Feb 2 this AM. I was still warming up to Feb 1. 😉
Apparently the NGOs are double dipping. The illegal aliens are telling people that the NGOs make them call home for their plane fair/travel expenses to be wired to the NGO, and the NGO also bills the U.S. gubt for same.
Deep state donors bought themselves a war.

”UNRWA Teachers Held Israeli Boy, Elderly Woman Hostage for Hamas”
Nearly half of UNRWA’s some 12,000 employees in Gaza either work for Hamas or its affiliate Islamic Jihad or have close relatives who do, Israeli officials said. At least 13 UNRWA workers, including seven teachers, allegedly participated in Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack in southern Israel, which started the Gaza war, and four employees allegedly helped take hostages. A government spokeswoman could not immediately confirm if the UNRWA teachers who held the boy and the woman were among the seven identified by Israel.

You have to write a check to Ukraine for $70 Billion and then Biden will have the power to deal with the US Border!
Cut up the credit card. Party’s over.
CNN’s John Miller said migrants steal in NY, spend in FL, but return to NY because they’ll actually be held accountable in the sunshine state:
Years ago there were newspaper reports of Puerto Rican collecting welfare in New York and New Jersey at the same time they were living in San Juan.
I’m pretty sure during COVID they (illegal aliens) got the same checks we did.
Trust me, they have been briefed fully on all the ins and outs of our failing criminal system.
Who knew they had charity buses for criminals fleeing charges in a jurisdiction?! The criminals apparently did.
I shake my head in disgust at what we have become.

So the strike in Syria and Iraq is exaggerated and only for show. 85 targets and 125 bombs includes Syria (3 bases) and Iraq (4 bases) to sound good to the American people. It avoided Iran and really did nothing since they had days to move stuff out of harms way. Biden even asked Qatar to let Iran know it was not serious.
Pretty much sums it up.
