What a slap in the face to decrepit Joe Biden and his failed policies.
The Border Patrol Union (NBPC), which represents border patrol agents across the country, denounced Biden’s failed border policies and said they side with Texas border patrol agents.
Texas has reportedly been in a standoff with the federal government regarding the seized land in Eagle Pass Texas that the Texas Border Patrol is attempting to use as a buffer to prevent border crossings into Eagle Pass.
Since the start of the crisis, there has been back-and-forth litigation between Texas and the Biden administration, with the most recent bout going to the Biden administration.
Recently, SCOTUS sided with the federal government over the usage of razor wire at the border, but Texas border patrol and Texan officials seem to have no intent on complying with the ruling.
Here are just some of the incredibly scathing messages from the Border Patrol Union regarding Biden:

In the military, we have this thing called “lawful orders.” While one can be brought up on charges for failure to obey an order, if the order is deemed to be unlawful, that could come out in a trial. But in MOST cases, there would be no trial at all because others who would call on such an action would already know if an order was unlawful and would simply not take action against those refusing unlawful orders.
The border patrol people should operate similarly in my view. They know they are operating outside of US LAW and are yet following orders. That does not compute with me. What should happen is they refuse to follow unlawful orders and when they are punished by the administration, they take their claims of unlawful orders to the courts and the public. That SHOULD remedy all.
The Congress enacted “immigration laws.” The Executive is to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” Instead, this Executive is “aiding and abetting” these lawbreakers. No doubt expecting his customary “ten percent.”
Is this therefore “an unlawful order?” You bet it is, and the position taken by the Texas governor is precisely correct. The citizens [of Texas] are entitled to “PROTECTION under the Law.”
The Federal Government, having passed a Law, does not have the prerogative to upend it.

The U.S. Navy said on Jan. 26 that it will start to enlist those who didn’t graduate from high school in the latest attempt to fill its ranks in the wake of a recruiting crisis that troubles every branch of the U.S. military.
Under the new plan, Navy recruits without a high school diploma will be able to join as long as they score 50 or higher on the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT), which is used to determine basic eligibility for military service. The highest possible AFQT score is 99.
Those without a General Educational Development, or GED, credential can also enlist as long as they meet the same AFQT score threshold. The GED consists of four academic subject tests—math, science, social studies, and reasoning through language arts—and passing those tests certifies that the taker has the skills and knowledge equivalent to a high school graduate.
The last time that the Navy allowed those who lacked education credentials to enlist was in 2000, according to the Chief of Naval Personnel’s office.
On top of those measures, the Navy introduced a program aimed at those without the body composition requirements for joining the service. Potential recruits would go through a three-week program at a Great Lakes, Illinois, boot camp, where they would get fitness help to meet the requirements.
Despite all of the efforts, the Navy failed to meet every one of its recruitment goals in FY 2023. It aimed to recruit 37,700 sailors but ended up bringing in just 30,236.
The Navy fared no better with officers or reserve personnel. In FY 2023, it missed the officer goal by 452 people, the enlisted reserve goal by 2,048, and the officer reserve goal by 773.
Other service branches also have difficulty finding recruits who can meet physical and academic requirements. According to a 2022 study from the Pentagon, about 77 percent of young Americans ages 17 to 24 wouldn’t qualify for military service without some form of a waiver because of being overweight, using drugs, or having mental and physical health problems.

Any negotiations between Moscow and Kiev about a peace agreement are “inextricably” linked to the situation on the battlefield, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has stated, insisting that the bloc must send even more military aid to Kiev.
Speaking in Washington at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Stoltenberg said that aid to Ukraine is “not charity” but is an “investment into our own security.”
He also shared his view that, in order to achieve a lasting peace in Ukraine, the West needs to ramp up its support for Kiev and send it more weapons and ammunition, proclaiming that “weapons to Ukraine is the path to peace.”
The comments come as the future of Western aid to Ukraine looks increasingly uncertain, with many of Kiev’s backers running out of resources to help the country. The Ukrainian leadership is also reportedly losing hope of success against Russia, without Western support.
Stoltenberg also argued that a Ukrainian surrender could not be considered a “just peace,” which, he prescribed, can only be reached by having Russian President Vladimir Putin “realize that he will not get what he wants on the battlefield.”
Blinken nonetheless admitted during their press conference that the lack of foreign military aid to Kiev, especially now that Washington has run out of the military assistance it has been providing to it, has put Ukraine in a tough spot on the battlefield.

So I just happened upon this article and thought I would share with CTH. It is historical background on Benjamin Netanyahu. Even though Moses and Aaron were Levites, their descendants formed priesthoods that competed with the Levitical priests.
There are passages that say only Aaron’s descendants can serve in the tabernacle or the holy of holies.
Only Aaron and his descendants were chosen by God to be priests not Moses.
The Bible we have was put together by Ezra. One of the things he did was to force any priest who married outside women to renounce them or be kicked out. Moses married a Midianite, not someone from within Israel.
There are those who believe Ezra censored the past. That the priests of Shiloh, who kept the tabernacle, were descendants of Moses, counter to the Bible saying they were descendants of Aaron. And there are definite clues in the Bible that missed the censors scissors to support that belief. Bible VS Bible.
For those that think that the books of Moses are a mixture of different traditions stitched together, some point out Ezra as the redactor. Others say it was done piecemeal over time with Ezra as the last.
Stitching together different traditions, each with their justifications why they are the true tradition and the others aren’t is difficult. And the Bible has many different justifications of each side and smears of the other sides. Such as the golden calf as an attack on Aaron and a justification of the Levites. Or Moses’ failings and those of his sons that elevate Aaron’s sons as high priests.
But this has to continue with other Bible books post Moses. And they think it did.
From that point of view, you can’t treat everything as God’s word, but as a combination of propaganda and censorship. As I look into it, I find some claiming this is not a denial of God’s interactions with Moses. After all, all the traditions are of Moses. But they also make the claims of David’s descendants always being on the throne as propaganda for why Judah survived when Israel fell. So I have mixed feelings, because I want Moses’ story to be true and I want that propaganda to be real predictions of Christ.
The wierd part is that we only have the texts to use in piecing this all out. The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint are from roughly the same time period, long after Ezra. We have nothing from before Ezra or better yet, from David’s time or from Moses’ time. Well nothing isn’t quite right, there are fragments of scriptures found on silver, dating from pre-exile.

On Monday, the MSNBC anchor was discussing the negotiations between the White House and Congress over Ukraine and border security funding, which Republicans have demanded be tied together. Biden says he agrees, although his “bipartisan” bill comes nowhere close to solving the illegal immigration crisis.
But never mind that, because Reid was claiming that Biden was clamping down on illegal immigration — and would be able to do so more effectively if that “bipartisan” bill was on his desk.
“Congressional Republicans love to latch on to President Biden and Democrats’ successful policies and take credit for things they didn’t do while tying themselves into pretzels to do nothing for the American people for the sake of Donald Trump,” Reid said, according to Breitbart.
“Case in point: Fixing what they say is a crisis at the border with congressional negotiators continuing work on a bipartisan deal to tie border policies to funding for Ukraine.”

Now, I have no clue what Joy Reid meant — and a good 74 percent of the time, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t, either. However, she did say what she really believes, which is that this administration — an administration her network spends 24 hours a day cheerleading like they were Taylor Swift and the White House was Travis Kelce — was on the brink of conflict, somehow, somewhere.
If Reid meant digging ourselves deeper in Ukraine would mean a wider war — and I suspect this is not what she meant, considering it already is a war — this is essentially giving lie to the liberal shibboleth that money and armaments to Kyiv must continue uninterrupted and unaudited for an unbounded period of time because Vladimir Putin is a bad guy.
Which, thank you Captain Obvious, but protracted wars with no endgame against very bad people are often not in the best interest of the United States — even if the cause of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people has become practically holy on the left and among right-wing hawks, despite the fact that pouring unchecked resources into a lost cause is both inefficient and risky.
If Reid realizes this despite the fact everyone at her network says the exact opposite, good for her, I guess — but she needs to remember when that mic is hot, for heaven’s sake.
However, it’s more likely that her point was that shutting down the border with Mexico would start a war, given that this is a woman who, last week, compared those demanding border securing to “old Southerners” who happened to be “segregationists.”

Thus, the question is: If closing the border is starting a war in Joy Reid’s estimation, it’s a war between whom? The United States and Mexico? Mexico and its Central American neighbors? Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott and New York Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul?
Since when has enforcing border law been a reason for war? What’s the reason for the border, anyway? And if this is what Reid was referring to, why shouldn’t the Republicans be taking credit for forcing the president to do something the Democratic base — represented here by Joy Reid — has an anaphylactic reaction to?
Or, it could be none of the above. Remember, it’s often difficult for people to decipher what the heck Joy Reid is saying at the best of times, up to and including the woman who’s saying it. She’s the very essence of a cable news “personality” — someone without substance who can telegenically string together a lot of meaningless phrases like your kid strings together a macaroni necklace at kindergarten. And the kid is probably putting in more mental effort.
Maybe it’s time that MSNBC admits that Reid is verbally and mentally incontinent. Her inability to maintain a consistent thought aside from “Elephant Party Bad” is an obvious handicap, but not one that has kept her from being employed at the network — so long as the mic doesn’t pick up any of the other garbage that comes out of her brain. This time, it did — whatever that garbage meant.
Whatever the case, MSNBC needs a better host, better technicians, or both. Until then, unless they like unintentional comedy, MSNBC watchers need to find a better news network.

He is a proven winner, instills toughness and tenacity in his players/students, has a good work ethic, and rewards resilience in the students. I think he is Catholic too, which would be a first in the University’s history. He is apolitical too. He has been the ONLY BRIGHT SPOT at Harvard for the last 30 years. I listened to Nimrata on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show today, I don’t care much for him but that station just plays all day on the kitchen radio and I move to vacuuming when I hear his voice.
BUT today I happened to catch the interview w Nimrata.
That lady is living in a complete alternative reality.. which of course Hugh allowed.
She’s making her loses sound like wins..
I’ve lost track now of what her final percentage in NH was that she won, but I’d like to remind everyone that a significant amount of that total was Democrat voters casting a vote in our Republican Primary.
There was a large, very open campaign to get the Democrat vote out for her.
It was so transparent that this is why she played the race card by bringing up her skin color.
She was actually reciting Democrat talking points here.. Boston radio was tuned into this and noted that “she is SO wanting the Democrat vote that she’s now running as a Democrat” they said.
But now this strategy she used here has totally slipped her mind.
Today she misleads the nation by touting that number as if she got very close to Trump.. but in reality she didn’t at all.
This really makes me mad to hear all this, I’m just hoping the whole rest of the country out there knows what she did in NH.
Lets please get this word around that many of her voters were Democrats and this was not actually a close contest at all.
