Three U.S. service members were killed and at least 25 others were injured in a drone attack on an outpost in northeast Jordan near the Syrian border, U.S. Central Command confirmed on Sunday.

But a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News the injury toll could rise to higher than 25 Americans. Most, if not all, of those injured and killed were Army soldiers based in northern Jordan near the Syrian border at a base known as Tower 22, which has been in support of the counter-ISIS mission for year, the official said.

Some of the 25-plus injured have been medically evacuated from the base, likely to Landstuhl in Germany, according to the official. It is not clear if they were hit while sleeping in the residential compound at the base. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is actively engaged in discussions taking place at the White House about how to respond.

Some 3,000 American troops typically are stationed in Jordan, according to the Associated Press.

For those, including (as I understand it) Sundance, who have expressed some doubts about Tucker Carlson… you might wish to watch the Roseanne Barr podcast with TC as the guest. He fully and clearly admits that (these are MY words) for a long time while he was in DC, he was encased in that “bubble” that is Washington, and was a long time awakening to many of the wrongs that were being perpetrated in the rest of the Counrty, and he was “stupid”..etc. For me, TC is coming across more and more as a VERY sincere, Truthful person, and one we would do well to admire for this. Once per year, on January 30th, the president must designate which ten countries we will accept asylum immigrants from. There can only be ten at any one time, but the specific ten can vary from year to year when the president picks on the 30th.

No more than 30,000 asylum immigrants can be accepted each year. The president can decide not to accept any if he so choses. The name of each person accepted must be published along with their country of origin and reason. This list must be updated within one week of each new person accepted. It shall exist on-line as a publicly searchable database.

Sneaking into the country is a felony. You can and will likely be shot if you are caught attempting to sneak into our country. Attempting to cross the Rio Grande River, malingering very near the border wall, or attempting to climb the border wall will likely result in you being shot. Handing items thru the wall, over or under the wall is a felony and you can and will likely be shot. Arriving by boat, plane, automobile, or train illegally in the United States is likewise a felony and you can and will likely be shot. In short, it is legal for any American citizen to shoot to kill any noncitizen who attempts these things. It is not legal to shoot uniformed officers of Mexico, Canada, or the United States – that is a felony. You must cross legally at a port of entry.

There will be a worker program for immigrants to work and live in the United States for two years at a time. That number will not exceed one million at any one time. They can renew their work permits for a period not exceeding ten years. If they have been productive workers, have no criminal record including DUI, have not taken any public assistance money, can speak fluent English, and pass a drug screening, they will be given priority to obtain citizenship. They can apply in their seventh year.

Permanent legal immigration shall not exceed 500,000 per year, and is only open to those who speak fluent English, understand our Constitution and laws, and pass a drug screening test.

A special category of legal immigrant exists for people with a liquid net worth in excess of $700,000. They still must speak fluent English, understand our Constitution and laws, and pass a drug screening test. There can be an unlimited number of these immigrants. The $700,000 will be adjusted for inflation.

A baby born on American soil that is the offspring of two noncitizens, is NOT a U.S. citizen. To qualify for automatic citizenship, at least one of your parents must be a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth. This must be verified by a DNA test if requested.

Student Group Files Emergency Petition With Supreme Court Over West Point Race-Based Admissions | The Daily Caller

Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) filed an emergency petition with the Supreme Court Friday asking that the justices halt West Point’s race-based admissions policy as the lawsuit continues through the lower courts.

SFFA sued the military academy in September 2023, arguing that West Point’s admission policies are discriminatory based on race and violate the Fifth Amendment after winning a similar case at the Supreme Court in June. The student group asked the Supreme Court to prevent the academy from using race as a metric in admissions while the lawsuit goes through an appeals process in a lower court.
