JAN 09 2024 – CNN -Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin treated for prostate cancer
The statement revealed that the cancer was discovered in early December.
He underwent a “minimally invasive surgical procedure” on December 22 called a prostatectomy
“He was under general anesthesia during this procedure. Secretary Austin recovered uneventfully from his surgery and returned home the next morning. His prostate cancer was detected early, and his prognosis is excellent,” the statement read.
On January 1, Austin was readmitted to the hospital due to complications “including nausea with severe abdominal, hip and leg pain.”
He was found to have a urinary tract infection, the statement said.
Asked why Austin did not disclose that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer — Pentagon spokesman Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said the situation was “deeply personal.”

My reading of (a)(3) is that it states that even if there is a local authorization for aliens to vote in local elections, they are not authorized to vote for federal offices.
In the 2020 election, Republicans should have demanded that the citizenship of voters using mail-in ballots be established beyond a doubt.
The Constitution requires that the President must “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” The President takes an oath “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Federal employees also take an oath.
So President Trump was required by his oath to uphold the federal election laws. But Barr, Wray, and half of the Supreme Court violated their oaths.
On 12/29/12, President Obama signed HR 4310, the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act. Section 1078 (thomas.loc. gov/cgi-
bin/query/z?c112:H.R.4310:) of the bill authorizes the use of propaganda inside the US, which had previously been banned since 1948 when the Smith- Mundt Act was passed.

IMO, there’s a valid question underlying this all — after a president is no longer in office, if it is believed or proven that they did in fact commit crimes while in office, what crimes could they be prosecuted for and which would they be immune from? What if President Hillary ordered Epstein whacked for “national security”. Or Assange? Would Hillary be immune? Presumably Nixon would not have been immune or what would have been the point of pardoning him?

The President is the only public officer who is a Branch of Government, responsible to every citizen. He is tasked with making weighty and unpopular decisions in the absence of time and solid information. It cannot be the case that any ambitious Prosecutor anywhere can just convene a Grand Jury to declare that his latest unpopular action or public statement is a crime and threaten him with prison. If that were so, it would never stop.

Prediction after today’s DC Circuit hearing on presidential immunity:
As I said all along, the 2 Biden appointees on the DC Circuit will rule against Trump, holding Presidents (somehow) don’t have immunity from criminal prosecution for their official activities (including the outer perimeter)–even though Members of Congress and federal judges have such immunity.
Can the Trump 47 DOJ indict:
1. Obama for capital murder, for ordering a drone strike on 2 American citizens, including a 16-year old?
2. Biden for manslaughter, for his disastrous pullout from Afghanistan?
2. Biden for felony-murder or manslaughter, for the fentanyl deaths flowing from his refusal to secure our border?
The Supreme Court will have to take this case. This is so much more important than Trump or any one President. If any President fears prosecution by his successor for his official acts, it will cripple his presidency.
The Supreme Court will probably very narrowly hold that Presidents get criminal immunity for their official actions, just like Member of Congress and federal judges.
Then remand back to DC Obama Judge Tanya Chutkan to hold a mini-trial on the immunity issue.
Her immunity ruling will get appealed again to the DC Circuit and the Supreme Court.
Bottom line:
There is little chance Jack Smith gets to keep his March 2024 trial date.
This trial likely can’t get resolved until after the election.
The Biden Justice Department waited 30 months to bring these unprecedented indictments against their boss’s chief political enemy.
This is obvious election interference.
They can wait until after the election.

And no one would volunteer to be President ever again. Who would want to go to prison for 17,000 years the day their term ended? 🤷♂️

my prediction, this 3-judge panel will rule against PDJT’s lawyers, then the lawyers for PDJT will have the entire circuit court hear the case; and if they rule for PDJT then the case before Chutkin is over, if in favor of Jack Smith then the lower court hears the case and if PDJT wins at the lower court Jack Smith appeals and if PDJT loses at the lower court PDJT appeals.
In any which way it goes, all this goes back and forth between lower and upper courts until finally all avenues exhausted it goes to the Supreme Court which is probably crossing their fingers that by the time it all reaches them the election will be over, and if PDJT wins or if PDJT loses, the Supreme Court will simply say ‘it’s moot’.
And life will go on.
In this case, “Bessie,” the SCOTUS really can’t dodge the “fundamental Constitutional issue,” and therefore I think that they won’t. They can’t, and still call themselves a “Court.”
Perhaps, though, they will now rue the day when several US States timely brought their cases before what is to them their “court of primary jurisdiction” (US Const: Art. 3 Sec. 2) while the crimes were still happening. They stuck their heads in the sand, declaring that none of them plaintiff States(!) “had standing.” Maybe the Supremes supposed that they had thereby dodged the bullet. Well, they didn’t.

A clip from the 1990 movie Home Alone where the lead character purchases groceries, household goods, and toys recently went viral because he paid a total of $19.83 whereas today the same purchase would cost over three times as much. Ironically, while this evidence of the Federal Reserve’s failure to maintain the dollar’s value was going viral, stocks rose because investors believed the Fed had successfully engineered a “soft landing” by bringing down price inflation without causing a recession and would soon begin reducing interest rates.
Then, stocks fell at the beginning of the year when the release of the notes of the Federal Reserve Board’s last meeting suggested the Fed would not hurry rate cuts. The likelihood of a delay in cutting rates was further increased by a “positive” December Jobs report.
The jobs report did show unemployment remaining low and wages slightly increasing, but the news was not all positive. One of the report’s most troubling items is that a top source of increased wages is government. An increase in the salaries of government employees also increases government debt, which will have to be paid for by taxes. Since tax increases are unpopular, the government relies on the Federal Reserve to do the dirty work by purchasing federal debt instruments and thus creating more inflation. This inflation tax is the worst of all taxes because it is regressive and hidden.
If the Fed allowed interest rates to increase to anywhere near what they would likely be in a free market, interest rate payments on the federal debt would rise to a level causing a financial crisis. Even though the federal government will soon spend more on interest on the federal debt than on the Pentagon and the military-industrial complex, few in DC are serious about cutting spending. Federal debt increased by one trillion dollars from mid-September to the beginning of the new year. It is expected to increase by around another trillion dollars by the end of March! To put this in perspective, consider that the federal debt did not reach a trillion dollars until 1981 — almost two hundred years after the Constitution was ratified.

GUAYAQUIL/QUITO, Jan 9 (Reuters) – A live broadcast by Ecuadorean television station TC was interrupted on Tuesday by armed people, with gunshots and yelling heard on a live feed, as President Daniel Noboa issued a decree declaring 22 gangs as terrorist organizations.
The people, wearing balaclavas and mostly dressed in black, were seen wielding guns and accosting huddled staffers before the feed cut out.
Some of the invaders gestured at the camera and someone could be heard yelling “no police”.
The national police said on social media it was evacuating the public channel’s studio in Guayaquil, verifying the condition of staff there and “reestablishing order”.
Police in Guayaquil confirmed 13 arrests, and police social media posts showed photos of young men lying on the floor with their hands zip-tied behind their backs.

As I’ve wondered many times, why is there never any discussion about scrubbing the history of this failed man, depicted in this Seattle statue of Vladimir Lenin, the leader of the communist Bolshevik Revolution, who launched a revolution responsible for the murders of 100,000,000 souls in the 20th Century that continues today? How is it that this Seattle statue still stands? A statue of the man who represented the complete opposite of free markets of ideas and trade and who represents the nihilistic atheism of the left still stands.
His statue sits unmolested in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, a relic of an old man’s whim who bought the statue on a lark. And yet through all these years, there’s never been serious discussion of removing this statue that is so antithetical to American values and its founding.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has set a date for the special election to fill the Congressional seat formerly held by Kevin McCarthy.
McCarthy left the United States House of Representatives at the end of December after a tumultuous year that included his removal as Speaker of the House after roughly 10 months.
I’ll take a wild guess McCarthy will be replaced by a Democrat things are going so well in California and around the country!
You can bet a Republican won’t win that seat.

Hunter Biden’s Art Dealer Contradicts the White House

When people dared to raise concerns about the sale of Hunter Biden’s artwork–including Walter Michael Shaub Jr., the ethics chief under the Obama administration–the White House dismissed such concerns in July 2021, claiming “a system has been established” with ethics agreements put into place for buyers and buyers being kept anonymous so as to prevent corruption. Now, two-and-a-half years later, we know that that is a lie, based on transcribed testimony that Georges Bergès, Hunter Biden’s art gallerist, gave to the House Oversight Committee. Bergès had been subpoenaed by the Committee last month.
According to a Committee press release and takeaways posted over X, the White House actually never facilitated any such agreements. In fact, “Georges Bergès stated he never had any communication with the White House about an agreement about Hunter Biden’s art and admitted Hunter Biden knew the identities of the individuals who purchased roughly 70% of the value of his art, including Democrat donors Kevin Morris and Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali.”
Not only did Bergès know the identity of a majority of donors, but they were Democratic donors whose names we have heard before. Morris is the “sugar brother” for Hunter Biden, as he’s assisted him in his legal battles. He’s also the attorney who has been photographed smoking out of a bong in California. Naftali’s name was revealed last July. Not only was she a donor to Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, she had been appointed to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad in July 2022.
The Committee has plenty of receipts, including a statement from Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates included in a CNN article from the time such assurances were made, with Bates claiming “the President has established the highest ethical standards of any administration in American history, and his family’s commitment to rigorous processes like this is a prime example.”
The Committee also explains how Hunter and Bergès met, which was through Lanette Phillips, described as “a Hollywood video producer who has hosted fundraisers for Joe Biden.”
