In order to believe that Republican politicians support border control, you would simultaneously have to believe that Congress couldn’t shut down government until President Biden takes action.
You would have to believe the GOP House has no options, no power, no control, no ability or capacity to use the power of the people’s house to change the dynamic. That’s all nonsense. We do the things that are important to us. We avoid the things we do not want to do.

Is Speaker Mike Johnson really saying he will do no more than advocate something be done about the ongoing and unprecedented unlawful infiltration of foreign citizens and foreign nationals being promiscuously flooded into our nation in violation of existing treaty and law?

And what of the officers and executives of the corporations and foundations that actively fund and facilitate what is reasonably equivalent to an act of war. It matters not what their tax status is, they are operating a conspiracy of a profound and unlawful nature.
Why should they not be characterized as or directly called “Enemy Combatants?”

So now the plan is to take over the GOP.
Just an opinion – but this is the ugly part of what may be called a hostile takeover, and it’s the GOP that’s being taken over, one election at a time, slowly at first, then, if we’re lucky, all at once.

I sold used cars for a bit. Whenever anyone felt the need to tell me they were a Christian I would tell them I was raging capitalist. We were usually done after that. Good times.
We had a “good, Christian” realtor lie through his teeth to us about the size of a house we were looking at – he told us that it was 1972 sq ft (we said we wanted 2000 sq ft) and we made an offer based on that information. AFTER the sellers accepted our offer, I pulled County records (this was BEFORE everything was online and easy to find). Turned out the house was actually only 1729 sq ft! When we confronted him he refused to help us get out of the deal and actually tried to (illegally) contact our mortgage broker to see how much money we had in the bank!
It’s really sad. The lack of honor and integrity in the conduct of “Christians” out there is shocking.

We we young and naive, and we trusted our realtor, who told us that it was “just under 2000 sq ft.” It was a seller’s market so we put a full price offer down right away, which was, of course, accepted. It was two days later, when we went back, with a tape measure, to figure out room sizes, etc, that we discovered we had been lied to and that’s when I got the actual records from the county…
Long story short, by the grace of God, we did get our earnest money back but sadly, we learned NOT to trust someone, just because they can “talk the Christian talk”! (Hence my immediate distrust of Mike Johnson, unfortunately.)

Many congress critters who have been in office for a length of time have been corrupted. The con usually starts out as small indiscretions, but once the hook has been set most don’t have the intestinal fortitude to come clean. It’s easier to play along to get along.
