In reality, there is little difference between the Republicans and Democrats; both parties are populated mostly by folks who long ago sold their souls and represent their pocketbooks, not us, not even a little bit us. Neither the 2020 nor the 2022 election steals could have been succesful without thecactive participation of Republicants.
And if election officials had followed the Laws, rules/regs, Policies/Procedures “on the books” in conducting the elections, there would have been no thefts.
The 1960 Presidential election, universally recognised as having been stolen, was conducted with one election day, using hand marked and counted paper ballots with photo I.D.
My point? MACHINES don’t steal elections, PEIPLE steal elections and if we WASTE our time, energy and outrage on trying to address PROCEDURES, at the expence of addressing PEOPLE and the process for vetting and putting in place the people that conduct our elections, we will waste our time, energy etc. and accomplish little to nothing.
On the other hand, focus on THE PEOPLE that put the vote counters in place, and the use of machines, etc. wouldn’t matter, we would have “honest elections”.

Obviously, if you are a public official tasked with making such a decision, and you made that decision and that decision is now being questioned in a lawsuit, you have no choice but to give answer to the Court and to the Public. That is a fundamental part of what you were hired to do. The matter at bar is: “your decision,” not “you.” Maybe the vendors simply lied to you.
